Creo+ and Creo Parametric

When I'm in drawing mode, I select the annotation tab to make creo change the selection filter to "Annotation" and allow me to select datums etc. However if I want to then move a view, and I swap back to the "Layout" tab, the selection filter stays on Annotation rather than switching back to "General", the result being every time I select an annotation, I end up having to manually change the selection filter back again. Am I missing something? Surely this can't be the intended behaviour?   

When I right-click, hide the Fill Surface on the model itself, it is no longer interactable even through the model tree. Conversely when doing the same through the model tree itself instead of the model, it works as expected.Is this a bug or is there a way to unhide/show the surface that I am not aware of. (I have been resorting to restarting creo) I realise the right click menus are not visible in the video, however I think the video is clear enough without it as well. *I am using PTC creo parametric 9.0 student edition

I am using Creo Parametric Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.7.0I cannot edit the size directly in sketch. Initially it worked, but after some time it stopped working. Now the only way I can edit the size in Sketch is by using the ribbon.Also, I have tried the fixed suggested by article CS352473 but with no luck.

hello experts this is asif I have a question about variable feed. is it possible to add a variable feed on trajectory milling on different areas of trajectory .for example I have a trajectory whose length is 100mm. So I need the cutting feed from 0 to 25mm to be 50mm/minute then 25 to 50 to be 100mm/minute and so on so....I don't want to add a feed on G-codes manually...but right now manually add a feed on a different portion of G-codes.. need advice.   regards   asif

I am using Creo Parametric Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.5.0I am trying to connect to Windchill+ with Creo via JLink. Calling AuthenticateBrowser seems to have no effect. The login window always pops up, so the application cannot be run without user interaction. Is there another method in JLink to authenticate to Windchill+ than to Windchill on premis?

While exporting an drw into an dwg file...if i open that file in 2d softwares after export,the scale was not as same as it was in CREO DRW ! what should i need to do while exporting to get the exact scale value in both ?Iam using 9.0.3.0 version of CREO !please clarify me on this ASAP! 

Hi, I would appreciate any help or advice with this problem I am having.   I am using Creo 3 and am having a problem when I try to insert a decal. I map the decal and then select the surface I want it on, the image appears, but with a sort of grey wash over ever decal I insert. Even transparency seems to be affected.   I have tried adding the config.pro option "enable_opengl_shader no" as was suggested in https://community.ptc.com/t5/3D-Part-Assembly-Design/Windchill-upgrade-to-Creo-decal-issue-duller-greyish-colors/td-p/97207#250266  for someone with the same problem in Creo 2, but it doesn't seem to have had any effect. Is there perhaps a different solution for Creo 3?   Thank you.

Hi, is there a way to change the rotate button to the back button on my mouse? I don't want to have to change what the button does at a system level because I still want it to be the back button while using a web browser. I want to change it because it is much less stress on my wrist to hold the back button and move the mouse compared to the middle mouse button. 

Creo Parametric does not start if the computer has a virtual machine platform and WSL2 installed. Has anyone experienced this and is there a solution?

I'm using Creo Simulate, version 4.0 I'm trying to run a structural simulation on a model that has rubber isolation mounts in it. Normally, I would represent the rubber components with linear springs but I don't have any information on the mounts in this case. I know these are non-linear but there is usually a region of the load deflection curve that is nearly linear so approximating with springs has worked okay for me. Without a load/deflection curve I'm considering modeling the rubber part and defining a Hyperelastic material. However, I have no idea what to use for the constants. Neo-Hookean needs C10 and D1 and Mooney-Rivlin needs C10, C01 and D1. These parts are made fo 45 durometer natural or Butyl rubber. Does anyone know a source for this kind of information?

How can I assign a line number in the model tree within an assembly to the individual parts or subassemblies. You can then synchronise this directly with Windchill and receive a complete structure with quantities automatically from the CAD model.

Hello Guys, i have a problem with my screws and the intelligent fastener and i do not find a solution.i am using the student edition (9.0.0) of Creo with some downgrades which i cant understand (cant add Dowel Pins, its greyed out?). But thats not my main problem: My Problem is, after i created a .asm in a long shift, i opened it another day and all the screws i added are gone: "12x Model missing" it says.  I think the problem is, the name of the part in the tree has the length in it, the library in my ifx folder does not, so it wont "find" it ? i can add screws manually and they are perfectly built in again, but they are gone when i close and start Creo again.Washers are not the right size when i do it manually. With the Student Version, i cannot open the options of the intelligent fastener.when i try to convert the bib and just click yes (the parts are already in that path which is named as "new" there), it says it failed the convert. Hi, When I change the simplified representation, and run an assembly visitor based on ProFeatureTypeGet and ProAsmcompVisibilityGet, I get the right structure (all excluded are not taken). But when it finished, all the inactive feature status refreshes to active. So on the next run,  I get the master simplified representation. I don't know why. Hello - I am using the Creo Tolerance Analysis Extension with Creo 6.0.  How do you select a true position callout to be included in an analysis? Per the reference guide this is possible, but I cannot find any tutorials or instructions on how to do this.  I have spent 2 hours on several scenarios within Creo but I am never able to select the true position callout to be include in the analysis. 

I would like to make these linkages move together, the easiest way to do this as I think is making the distance from the origin the same for the links (indicated by the lines drawn). However, I am unable to find a way to do that, any and all help would be greatly appreciated.  *I am using PTC creo parametric 9.0 student edition  

I am trying to use a conventional toolpath the finish the diameters of a tube with flanges welded on the ends. After generating the toolpath not all of the surface inside with milling window is being cut, attached it a picture of the toolpath.   Initially I thought the toolpath was being trimmed so the tool would not interfere with the check surfaces, but after shrinking the milling window down that did not seem to change. Does anyone have ideas as to why the end of the toolpath is being trimmed like this?  

I am trying to make a couple basic profile milling toolpaths and when posting out the program a G90 or G91 does not show up in the NC code. Initially I thought it was a problem with a setting in the gpost editor but after adding a bit of code I found on this message board into the FIL file it still does not show up. Looking at the .ncl file the command "SET / OFSETL, 90" is not found in the file. Is there a specific place in the mill, operation or toolpath setting where absolute of incremental programming can be set? On another note I would like to be able to insert a G187 P1 into some of my programs, this if for HSM on a HAAS control. I found in the gpost GUI where I can add bits of code before or after a tool change which would almost work. The kicker is I would like to be able to add a number 1, 2 or 3 somewhere in the toolpath parameters that could be written into the P1 portion of the G code (1 is for rouging and 3 is for finishing). With a particular section view as shown below, Creo View does not correctly export the section as a vector drawing. The error occurs both when exporting to PDF and CGM. The error also occurs both in Creo View 7.1 and in Creo View 6.1.   For example, in the screenshot below, the error occurs at the locations marked with numbers 1, 2 and 3.   The two parts in question are displayed in the exported PDF and CGM files exactly the same as if their section surfaces were not capped. However, all other parts are correctly displayed with capped section surfaces in the exported vector file (e.g. PDF):     It should be noted that the two problematic parts were originally assigned with a partial transparency when the model was exported from Creo Parametric as a PVZ file.
