Creo+ and Creo Parametric

I am using Creo Parametric 3.0 M170HOW TO FETCH DRAWING PARAMETERS IN DRAWING NOTE OR TABLE..?Here are the errors that I faced Need to fetch the drawing parameters such as "DRAWN BY"' ,"PART NUMBER" , "PTC WM LIFECYCLE STATE" etc. into Drawing.

Does anyone know what happened to the STL export dialogue box?  It used to offer the ability to modify the Chord Height (etc.) before creating the file.  Is that not an option anymore?   My only concern is that, sometimes in the past, going with the minimum would give an unusable file.   If I can't change it for the 1% of the time I need to, that could be a problem.   Thanks,  

After I complete my model and create tool path with Creo Manufacturing file, OR while creating CL file, I want to scale my model by 0.5 (due to using same program in different machine), but only in X-value (Diameter) and not in Z-value (height)!   There is a scaling option given, but it scale the CL file both in X and Z direction by 0.5, which is not solving my problems. Can someone help me, if there is a way out here?

Is this possbile? I have a single part file with 20 bodies within and would like to view it exploded like you can in a standard assembly

  I created a BOM with two configurations (two different models) and have a few issues I'm looking to find solutions for.    Right now the QTY column is blank where no quantity exists. When i try to Repeat Region>Dash Index, I get the message: "Select a text which contains rpt.index or rpt.qty." followed by "Not a valid report symbol to be dashed. Select again." after trying to select the blank cell to be "-". When I switch symbols, i still see rpt.qty in this column, but as I click on it this switches to qty.m560r0. How can I get around this? After adding the new config qty column, all parts for the -2 config are now at the end of my BOM, effectively breaking my initial part number structure. Can i get them back into their initial place without using fix index? Adding a new -2 config column breaks my relation the removes a specified cage code. I have a  part with two bodies and multiple combined states.  I want to control visibility of one body by switching to a specific combined state.  I have finally mangaed to do that via layers and layer states within the part. Any ideas how this might work for an assembly?  I assembly the part with the two bodies, but have not found a way to make a body of the component persistently invisible. Any ideas?

Hello,   I am controlling a component pattern in an assembly in Pro Program with a statement such as - If Pattern_table:fid_2250="4_ejector_pins"   When the option of not having those components in the assembly is created in relations If Pattern_table:fid_2250="no_ejector_pins", the cut features made by those components in additional components in the assembly fail due to the components not being there.   Can these surface cuts in the assembly parts be suppressed by a statement in relations or pro program when the component pattern is removed?   thank you.

Our users are working with Creo ParametricWe've changed our licence server but we're not able to retrieve the new license file including the parametric functions.We generate a file with "MECSTRUCENG_STSIM" and "MECSTRUCUI_STSIM", but that don't allow us to use parametrics functionnalities.We may be lost with the new naming model.Can you please help us, how can we retrieve a new licence file for a single flexlm server tat will work ?

Hi Guys, Anyone else having issues with Creo 7 and 3d section views?   I want to create a section view in my 3d part to measure some the thickness of my part.    Im making an offset section, as I want to create a sketch of where it is.    It shows fine in the preview.     But once I accept it, I get this crap. Its like it doesnt hide my sketched curve, and trys to create a solid from it.     Ive been using Creo since the Wildfire days, and it seems Creo 7 is SO buggy.    Is there a config setting to stop this from happening? I NEED to have this right on the center of some geometry to get a good measurement....so moving it slightly offset till it works is not a good solution.   Jay            

To my surprise I found an item type of GTOL, having trouble figuring out what to set gtol to...   Set gtols = hole.ListSubItems(EpfcModelItemType.EpfcITEM_GTOL)        Dim gtol as Ipfc????   Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Everyone! We recently upgraded to Creo 6 and i have noticed different behavior regarding display of datum curve features.  I'm looking for the config option to enable the "show datum curve features" by default, anyone know the answer?

Hello,   i have a problem. In my drawing, a component that I added as a STEP file from an external source is displayed with all of its edges. This error only occurs with the parts that I add externally. How can I set that only the visible edges are displayed for these components? Attached you will find a picture.   Thanks!

I am using Creo Parametric 5.0 5.0.2.0Creo only works on the left display. If we move the window to the right display the entire application freezes and we are forced to use task manager to force quit the application. This happens when using Creo Paramedic, ModelCheck, and Creo SimulateWe tested and we can move the app in minimized mode only. If we move it as a window or full screen it freezes.
