Hello, I've been using filters for a long time but never was satisfied with cliking to select window and choosing specified one. So i desided to create mapkey for myself fo without desturbing workflow i could change filter by using mapkeys. Here comes the problem:In PTC Creo PRT and ASM filters are different in this list. Not much of a problem if mapkey knew about choosing element in this list by it's name but look at what it does when choosing it.in some cases there is ID in list in other name of elementI would like to syncronize mapkeys for both PRT and ASM so they are the same but feature in PRT is "1" in ASM is "6"is there any other place where can i change this filter but not in the bottom right corner so it chooses filter by it's name not by ID in list?
I opened (Unite) in Parametric, using files from Direct Modeling. I have a Windchill connection. I made a simulation with that file in Creo and now I want to save the analysis file (MRS and MMA) as an attachment in the CAD file or have a connection to clearly show that there is a link. Does anyone know a configuration setting for this?
Hi all,I'm trying to automate the process of taking screenshots of simulation models from different angles in Creo Simulate. My goal is to change the view orientation without triggering a full recalculation of the model.I discovered that Creo Simulate can write the view matrix directly into an .rwt file. So, I wrote a simple Python script that generates a custom view matrix and inserts it into a template .rwt file. When I reload the file, the view updates to the new orientation as expected. However, there's a problem: instead of simply rotating the model, Creo seems to fully regenerate or recalculate the view, which adds unnecessary delay. I was hoping for a lightweight change—just to adjust the camera/view angle without triggering a full redraw or computation. My question is:Is there a way to apply a custom view matrix directly to the current view in Creo Simulate, without forcing a full view recalculation?Alternatively, is there a more efficient way to programmatically change the view
I am using Creo Parametric Release 5.0 and Datecode5.0.1.0How can hole features be distributed across the surface of a cube with large rounded corners on all edges? The purpose is to represent the shaping characteristics of a metal mesh stamped into a cube. all these surface need to have holes along with surface UV
My creo 11 has stopped working all of a sudden. It shows a black screen only. My last graphics update was done a month ago and creo was working fine. All of a sudden it stopped. It does work when i create a config.pro of graphics win32_gdi. which sort of tells me the issue is probably related to my NVDIA RTX 4000 ADA.I tried rolling back a version. Then I tried the recommended driver version from PTC website. None of these worked. Finally I uninstalled and re-installed Creo. STILL it is not working.I tried other versions of Creo (creo 9 and 10). Both these versions are working fineAny advice will be greatly appreciated.
Hi!Using Creo Parametric 9.0.8.0. When creating a dxf file from a part, there are often broken lines created that make it a hassle for our manufacturing team to program. A solution I found was to reduce the relative part accuracy of the part below the default value creo set (0.0012). I'm struggling to find a setting or config option to have the relative part accuracy set at a value automatically. I'm open to other solutions as well if anyone else has had this problem. Thanks!

I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.10.0We have encountered an issue when inserting UDFs into MBD-models in Creo. The problem specifically concerns the loss or corruption of attached annotations and references defined within the UDF. The behavior we are seeing includes the following:- Orientation of annotations is lost after insertion.- Certain dimensions are suppressed and must be manually deleted and re-added.- Geometric Tolerances (GeTols) are not updated correctly when references already exist in the target model:- While dimensional references from the UDF are reassigned to existing model features, GeTols retain their original references from the UDF, resulting in inconsistencies. Further details and visual examples of the issue are provided in the attached PDF.This behavior is problematic for our downstream process chain, as we rely on consistent annotation data for:- NC program generation (CAM)- Automated creation of measurement programs- CAQ and inspection

Hello everyone! My company uses Creo 7.0.9. I am utilizing J-Link (Java Object Toolkit free) to create some programs to automate some repetitive tasks. I need your help in automating the running of predefined FEA simulations, or at least fixing my code so far..._______________________________________________________________________________________________Problem Background / Goal: One of the features I want to have in my J-Link programs is the ability to rerun predefined simulations from code... meaning I as the engineer set up everything from conditions to loads, and get the simulation all ready to go, and my J-Link application really just has to hit the run button. The use case here is: I have other already functioning j-link code to change parameters of loads, so the idea is in the future, I can have some automated way of testing 15 different loads, running the FEA each time, saving results, and maybe even making me a graphic or something like that... _____________________
I am using Creo Parametric Release 3.0 and DatecodeM140CREO3.0挂Creo Advanced simulation Extension的模块 使用,To run Creo Ansys Simulation on your computer you must instal the latest 6.0.x version of the following x64 .NET packagesMicrosoft .NETCore.AppMicrosoft .NET Desktop RuntimeMicrosoft .AspNetCore.AppDownload and install these packages, Start Creo again and then open Creo Ansys Simulation.
I have a problem with identifying what is wrong with the Intersection paths for Sweep:It seems like an easy fix but I need some fresh eyes to catch it.
I am using the Java API pfcModel.Model.Rename to rename Creo models (e.g., .prt, .asm, .drw) after importing them into the active workspace. While the renaming operation itself is successful—the renamed models appear correctly in the workspace—the issue is that the original models (with their original names) are still retained in the workspace alongside the renamed ones. The workspace ends up containing both the old and new versions of the same model, effectively duplicating them. When I try to remove old objects it gives error - This is because there is some dependency. The objects cannot be removed without parent object. I would like to understand:Is this behavior expected from Model.Rename()?How can I ensure that only the renamed model remains in the workspace and the original (pre-rename) model is completely removed? Also, if I try to remove - how do I deal with dependencies?
I am using Creo Parametric Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.5.0When a user goes to a drawing and selects Annotation + Symbol and try to select the Galleries, Symbol Pallette or the Symbols browser, CREO locks up. The only option is to shut down CREO using the Task Manager and restart. Is there a hidden config setting that fixes this?
Hi,When using the hole table function in 2D drawing, it creates a bunch of labels on the holes. However, these labels are right over the hole, which makes them half readable. There is an option to move it to the left or center, but this isn't enough to push it away from the hole. How can I specify how many pixels or mm away from the hole I want the label to me?Thanky!Using Creo 8.0.9.0
Hello. I need to make hole tables on two different sheets of the drawing. Moreover, on the second sheet the numbering of the hole labels should continues, and does not start from the beginning. I already understood that it is impossible to do this in Creo. So, I want manually edit table and labels on second sheet. However, when Save drawing with Modelcheck, all my edits are reset. For example, I change the name of the tag, after I click Save with modelcheck, the label value returns to the original. Maybe someone knows where in Modelcheck settings I can disable this automatic update of tables and hole labels?I have already read the information in the articles CS356185, CS428784, CS38790. There is no info about Modelcheck settings.
Hi, a long time ago I managed to customise the text styles in drawings. But I can't remember how or where. Do your know how we can add custom text styles to this list ?
Hello, I'm updating a Creo Toolkit application and I need to verify the current object lifecycle state in windchill so the application can decide the modifications to be done on the object (assembly). Is there an API defined in Creo Toolkit which can allow me to get the object attributes defined in Windchill? I noticed there is a method called ProServerObjectIsModified under the Server Operations section within the Data Management: Windchill Operations topic, but it doesn't return information related to the lifecycle state. I'm working with Creo 9.0.6.0. Thanks.
I have a config option setup(i think config) a very long time ago(10+ years at this point). When in at drawing i can Right Click and then Left Click over an object and it will automatically bring up the Pick From List option for me to cycle through. Its extremely helpful and quicker than right clicking then changing my query option in the menu then selecting the part. I'm at a loss at how i set this up so long ago. i set it up on another coworkers computer and he can't remember what we did. We have some new people that have started recently and i think this would very beneficial for them after watching them do some detail work. So, anyone know how to make the Right Click Left Click Pick from List option the default setting? Thanks!
I am the Creo Admin for a Creo/Windchill reseller. Currently using all versions of Creo We have a customer requesting an improvement in Spell check. One of their requests is to use it with MBD. With the rise of MBD, Spellcheck can only be used in a 2D drawings.
Hello, Right now I am working on an assembly with multiple parts with similar geometry. I wanted to know if there is a way for me to select all geometry with the same dimensions/features? Attached below is a reference, where I want to select all roller geometries without having to individually select them. Thank you.
Hi, I would like to know if I can create IFC files in Creo version 10.0.3.0 with 2 license which has subscription and 9 license which do not. I want to create BIM files using IFC but before I buy it I want to make sure that I can use it in my current Creo version. Kind regards
The tie wrap I designed does not fit exactly as I want to see. What options do I have to flow snug the cable?
In Creo 10.0.5.0, the requirement is to code which iterates through models, and finds a specific component based on its file name. It then updates or creates a specified parameter within that component with a given value of any data type - using VB Apis, although I am using :_parOwner.GetParam(paramName).SetScaledValue(valuePar, Nothing)I am still unsuccessful.
