Creo Elements Direct

Hi~   My win 10 OS is not in English,and opening CEDM 19.0 from the Start menu  the interface is in English. When I double-click the * .pkg file to open the program, the interface is follow the language of OS. How to set double-click * .pkg file to open it is also English interface?   Thanks.

Salve, quando cerco di salvare un modello in formato .PKG mi da sempre questo errore: Creo Elements/Direct Modeling non è in grado di creare il fascicolo "H:/X_FILES/xxxxxx/xxx_xx_xxxxxxxxx/xxx.pkg". Verificare che la memoria virtuale sia sufficiente e che esista abbastanza spazio nella directory di destin. e in "C:/Users/SAMMI~1.RIZ/AppData/Local/Temp/0hkfh5p4u65pjsv9196.autotmp". (Errore 1) lo spazio nel disco non manca ma non riesco a salvare. Aiuto  

Hi~   In 13.1a version it conveniently to display one viewport to preview select view you want to add.   But in 19.0 version this feature is disappeared. It there setting to set the feature work?   Thanks.

Hi~   When you do "move views" command, you have to move cursor onto another view 1 or 2 second to display auxiliary line in 19.0 version. It's not so conveniently. Is there a setting adjustment to make display all auxiliary line? As before 13.1 version.   Thanks      

I have a multisheet-drawing in Annotation and want to Export it to a multisheet-DXF, but I always get on sheet. Is there a workarount to resolve the Problem, because DXF is multisheet-possible.

Usually drag the LISP file to the modeling work area，then the function command show in the toolbox.  But it show none in the toolbox when you do it in CEDM 19.0. I take the example  "Color Parts"  in the integration kit，and save as a LISP file to dray to the modeling work area. It's still failure.

At the beginning of useing Creo elements dircet modeling 19.0 was working well. But after a period of use, the Select (F2) command and preselect command cannot work,  and the space function key is also disabled. I don't know what the problem is.

According to information from PTC support - support for the AP242 protocol is not yet planned.😠This urgently requires that the data exchange in STEP format be further developed in the CED environment.

I'm having a problem starting Annotation. The error involves TEXT that i have "DEFINED AS A TEMPLATE". The error states that the defined text is too long. I think if I can delete the this text the problem will be resolved. I have tried to follow the file path in the error but have had zero success. Can someone tell me where these text/templates are stored !?    

Reference case Number :C15069137         .As you can see the CEDD versions show differently than the download side: (Please refer Capture.PNG) On the matrix of v.20.1 M020 is showing in download as v.20.1.2.  Are they the same thing? On the matrix of v.20.2.1.0, it is showing in download as 20-2-0-0.  Are they the same thing?     Can anyone please help to find out the discrepancies above?

I know that the newest version of Creo Elements/Direct Modeling has the ability to search text in cad. Does this allow the creation of PDFs with searchable text?   Thanks   Tom

Hello everyone ,   We use Creo 18.1 (M050( on Windows 7 and Windows 10 computers with 2 screens.We have a problem with W10 users.Indeed, when a Creo plan is active on the secondary screen, if you open another file (Word, Excel, Pdf, Internet, and even another Creo page), automatically this page will open under the active plan (background) .The only way to see that the new file is open is to go to the taskbar to see the application icon.The only way to display the new page on the screen is to shrink the Creo page. Namely that Creo has already been reinstalled, the driver of the graphics card is up to date (NVIDIA M4000). Add to that , I migrated some computers from W7 to W10.With W7 he did not have the problem, with W10 the problem appears. If you have any idea or if you have the solution :), I will be delighted. Following LISP call throws exception for certain files.   (AM_VIEW_PROP :the_view viewPath :show_thread_lines :off :update_view)   viewPath is the actual path of the view i.e. sheetName/ViewName.   Intention is to turn off the display of thread lines for the view and we call it for all the views in the sheet.   What could be the reason?   PS> Ignore the smiley in the code above and read it as collonoff 🙂

Please can you help me about the correct Nvidia drivers setup for Creo Elements Modeling environment? If It's possible for Rel. 16 and Rel 20.2. In specific I need to know if the "OpenGl" mode is supported in Rel 16 and next in Rel 20.2. Thank You

Hi,   in Drafting. user can add the dimension with the tolerance. but in Creo there is check box to display tolerance upper limit  and lower limit. but there is no API in creo toolkit to know whether that tolerance upper limit and lower limit is visible or not.   Regards, Vipresh shah

Hello! I am trying to create a model of a reducing elbow (4 to 3). I have the straight ends of the elbow and I was hoping I could loft between the parts.  I followed the instructions per the PTC help, but when I try to create Matchlines, I get an error that says "The profile must be closed." So I can only assume that I am picking the wrong vertex? I cannot attach the pkg file I am working with, but I can send it to someone that thinks they can help. Can someone please help me? Maybe lofting is not the way to go, but it was the only method that I thought made sense! Thanks!

I got a problem with using the positioning function in creo elements direct.    When I use the positioning function, in the dynamic method, I am able to click on a face when the 3D co-pilot appears. In the past I was able to also do this with edges. Click the edge and a co-pilot would appeard so I was able to rotate a part around the edge, or move it along the edge.    Selecting the edge is now not possible anymore. I added my 'catch' settings screenshot, maybe there is a problem with that.    Someone knows what the problem can be or where I can find some 'snap' settings     

Hi,   I recently received a .pkg file with a full model and I found that it also had drawings in the structure tree. My question is how do I see these drawings so that I can export to PDF?   I have tried to open them from Annotation tab but it won't let me select from the structure tree or save from there to PDF. Is there a way to view these? I don't want to redo work that someone has already done.   Thanks

I use Creo Elements Direct 3D-access V18.1 on my notebook Acer spin 7 Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-7Y75 with integrated Intel® HD Graphics 615Everything worked fine.Then came the Windows update to 1803.Windows update installed the graphics driver V23.20.16.4901.Creo Elements worked, but I had permanent bluescreens due to memory corruption by the graphics driver.Acer support recommended that I install the latest driver version 24.20.100.6025, which I did. Since then the notebook runs stable, but Creo elements doesn't work anymore. Hello everyone, I'm facing a complex and apparently insoluble problem with macro execution. The code is launched by a Visual Basic Sendkeys instruction from another application and does the following actions: - Reads data from a text file and stores them into an LTAB; - Deletes the text file; - Sets a part name; check if already exists, deletes it, creates a new part with that name; - Draws a table starting from 0,0 and fills it with stored data; - Adds all data as Info to the part; - Prints a pdf file of the table; - Deletes the table heading text; - Goes to Top, executes a Modify Move action taking the table and leaving it hanging to the mouse pointer. Everything worked fine on seven Workstations for about ten years; a couple of months ago it began giving problems on one single PC (which is the same as mine): the code hangs or ends in a random looking way. While trying to install Manager Server 19.0 M050 on Windows Server 2012 R2 the installing is crashing near the end after it creates the Rapid Deployment Package and during the Installing Model Manager step.   In the application event viewer there is an Apache Service error that says... "The Apache service named Creo Elements Direct Manager SoftwareDistributionServer reported the following error:>>> [Fri Jun 15 12:51:01 2018] [warn] (OS 2)The system cannot find the file specified. : No installed ConfigArgs for the service "Creo Elements Direct Manager SoftwareDistributionServer", using Apache defaults. ."   How can I fix this?   I know this is an old version of Manager Server but I am trying to duplicate our production environment in a development environment so I can test upgrading to 20.1.  

How do you import .bdl files? I have tried dragging the file onto the view, but it won't let me. Can you please help?
