Option CENTER_LINE is default when I dim circular in CED Drafting 20.7. Please guide me how to set up option NO_CENTER_LINE is default.    

To get the a part volume, in LISP we can use the function(sd-call-cmds(get_vol_prop ...Is there a way to have the total surface area of a part? I am using PTC Creo Direct Modellin v20.5.

Can somebody at PTC please have the common decency to advise us on the intentions of the License Server for Modeling Express 8. Either that ore release the product from this requirement.   Regards (but not expecting a reply from anyone in the know)    

Dear Team,When I am trying to install Creo Element direct modelling 20.7, I got this error. I know this is specific to Windows, but somehow I am not able to fix this, please help me. OS- Windows 11 HomeProcessor - AMD Ryzen 5 Note- In Windows 10 it works perfectly fine. 

How can I load a sketch via command line that is placed as a child of the frame?In my case I would like the "logo" sketch to be placed as a child of the "cart_A3" framethe command line command to load the sketch is:sd-am-load-sketch  I' have Creo Elements/Direct Modeling 20.5.1.0

Then I have assemblies with mechanism constrains, Creo wants to check out the components then I drag it.Are there any config options to set, or any things to do. So the components didn't get an update in the workspace?

Im working in teh Creo Elements/Direct 20.2.1.0 For example if a i have 50 threaded M6 holes and i want to change  all of them at the same time to partially threaded blind hole is it possible?  Thanks in advance

Greetings! Is there a module/macro/expansion for Creo Elements Direct Modeling similar to the Toolbox in Solidworks? Currently, when I want to grab a fastener. I have to go to a webpage built by our organisation. Download a .sdexp file and drag that into Creo. And Creo loads it from the database. This works fine. But I'd much rather have an interface within Creo itself that has this functionality.  My previous post was about customising my toolbar. And since then I've familiarized myself a bit more with the LISP programming language and the Syntax used by Creo. I am not a programmer by any stretch of the imagination, but i do have some basic knowledge. So if there is no such module available. I would like to try my own hand at developing such an interface. Both to make something useful and to learn to program such a tool.  I downloaded a Pipe Measure Tool from the  http://osd.cad.de/ website. But I was not happy with how it functio

Hi - I'm a very fresh newbie so hopefully an easy question... I have generated some 2D geometry and want to export it to IGES (or STEP).When I go to File/Save I do not see the IGES or STEP option under file type - any ideas? An associated issue perhaps - the 2D geometry sits on the active workplane do these need to belong to a Part for export, and if so how? I'm using Direct Modelling Express 8.0 thanks

I have a file that has a long tree of features. One of the early features has a sketch geometry extrude. It has a pattern of three spots. I want to undo one of the three areas and select another pattern. How is this done? Right clicking on the feature or the sketch doesn't give me any options. 

Hello community members, This is my first post on this forum. So i hope this place is somewhat active.I have an issue where my assembly is loaded many meters away from the origin.I can fix my issue by moving the parts within the assembly to the origin.But then a more annoying problem arrises.Now my origin is correct when loading in the model. But when I go to create a view in my 2D drafting environment, my origin is now still at the original location.And my view becomes hard to allign to other views. So my question is: When and how is the model origin decided? And can I change this within an existing model that is saved in a database?

Im using Creo Elements Direct, when i press this part the cursor is not straight.Can i change this?    

Hello,  Is is possible to make a drawing in Creo 9 of an assembly made in Catia v5?  I'm making an component for a client. The component consists of two sheet metal plates that are cut and welded together and then applied a gasket. An assembly in Catia contains solids and surfaces that represent the plates and welding paths.  I modeled the components in Catia v5 r28 and the customer uses Creo 9.  The advantage of having it in creo would be that the client can open and edit the drawing directly. But I assume there is some loss in reliability and functionality when working across softwares like this. 

In previous years i could easily log into Creo Elements Direct Express 6.0.  But for the last year or so it is very haphazard, and only can be accomplished by accident.  I can ask for a new authorization, which does not usually work.  And somehow I obtain a temporary ability to log in.  it often says "cannot access internet connection".  But my Norton 360 firewall shows access allowed for this software.  Please,, how to correct this.  I'm guessing it has something to do with windows 10, or Norton 360 security.  

As per this topic   Having similar issue - I can get the 72 hour key, but I've had to do it for like 3 weekends straight now.  This is the longest run ever, in about 5 years of using this product I can only remember single weekend outages in the past.   Creo, gents! You offer a fantastic free use product here - but locking us out when the phone-home connection doesn't work for nearly a month is going to make me finally consider thems other guys I otherwise hate (Fusion, cough).  Please don't make me do that.   If keeping a license server active for a free product is too much of a drain, please consider a reasonable hobby-tier purchase! I'd be willing to pay a Benjamin or so for an annual, local license key.

I have been trying to install Creo 7.0 for a while, but keep getting a loading icon that disappears after a few seconds.I have tried running as administrator, disabling firewalls and antiviruses, and deleting all previous licenses and things off my computer (all at the same time). Does anyone have any insight?

HiWhen I create a section view in the drawing the hatch will create for regions that are not necessary and these regions are part of cut exclusions in standards. What should I do to prevent cut exclusions in drawing when I create a 2D draft and section view and prevent hatches on these regions?

In my company I have to draw some pieces that are similar to others. GD&T is very important so we use as reference a similar part to take those tolerances into account and to know what to annotate and what not to. Is there a way to make an automatic drawing or a drawing of a part using the similar part as reference, automatically? Even though I have to adjust some details it will save me a bunch of time.

Hello friends, In Creo Elements Direct Modeling 19.0, how can I measure distance between the axes of two holes?Every time when I want to measure the distance between axes of two holes, I only can get the minimum distance between two holes. 

I have a fairly simple drawing with a repeat region showing mass properties (see attached screen dump)I have one column for the total weight (part weight x rpt qty).To avoid adding assembly weights to the parts weights, I have set the assembly weight to zero and the column only list the parts' weights.The total wight of the main assembly is calculated separately and listed in the drawing head asTotalvikt = 154,02 kg.When I add the weights in the column they add up to the same as Totalweight which is what I would expect.However, when the repeat region summation does the same adding up it gives the result = 93,05 kg.I have tried various assemblies but there is always a difference between Totalvikt and the summation result.I have not been able to find any logic between the two different results.Can somebody tell me what is wrong?I am using Wildfire 3.4HELP!!

Hello,i am new to engineering and tend to get the simple yet difficult things confuse. If you ever have a parent/children drawing for updates, whats the best way of remembering it?Ex: if you have a casting drawing which is referenced on a machined drawingEx: if you have a complete finished good along with packaging and let's say a sub component in a finish good changes, will it rev up packaging?in theory, in my assumption.. if a parent is affected, all children gets affected.. if a child 1 gets affected and there are other children underneath it... the parent won't get affected but anything under child 1 will. Please help with feedback. I appreciate your time and efforts

I will rendering an animation... and i will use FFmpeg....In the Help-Center is only this litte text.... Add an AVI codecSeveral AVI codecs are defined in the customization file ani_customize, which is found in <installationdirectory>\personality\sd_customize\AdvAssembly_Parametrics. You may add a new codec to this file if desired. Please review the comments in the file for more information. Now in the "ani_customize" i will add FFmpeg to creo.... but it dosen't work... FFmpeg is installed on pc. How does it works?
