HelloI got a problem when I try to open a ".ASM" file on one of my new HP desktop.When I chose the floder and select the file then click "open", and the pro/e just shutdown.But the same file could be open on another computers.My new desktop's OS is windows 7 Enterprise 64bit ,with Intel i7-4790 ,and other computers can open this file normally, so I use the "Procmon" to capture some detail while the error occur.the result as attach,there's hundreds of error log while I open file, but I can't really understand what those message represents.So, if anyone can answer it, I'll be very very grateful.

I re-installed FlexNET because I had some problems and then the next error appeared. Unable to start vendor: ptc_d.It's not the first time I got it, Two times before: When I installed Creo 1.0 for first time and when we upgrade to 2.0 version. It was solved by an technician, but I'd like to do it by myself because I'd like to know what's going wrong.If you had had the same error and then solved, please let me know how.Thank you.

How do you make an overlay in Creo? I'm converting from one system to another and the Creo asm has some components that are out of place, I thought that if I can make an overlay I can find out where those components go.

Hello, I recently bought a new laptop and installed Creo parametric given to me by my school. When I went to start sketching I noticed that I no longer have commands like "arc", or corner rectangle, or even any drop downs menus really. The ribbon looks very simplified and I have no clue why. How can I get it back to normal?I have a ton of assignments coming up and would love to get this resolved. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It used to look like this.

What is the best method to use when installing a new CREO 3.0 upgrade from M010 to M060 ? Is there an unistall command we should use or just delete all folders and files and start fresh ?We would like to do the cleanest upgrade we can and have 4 laptops that will be updated. Thx FRC Team 3951

All,We have recently been getting a lot of our users getting the message that the server is not available and do they want to work off-line.Well the server is available and when they click on the "No" button the dialog box just comes back even clicking it a bunch of times.And if it actually does take the "No" button then it sits and waits for a while, then displays a message that it could not connect to the server, Try again later.This is very frustrating because there is nothing that we have looked at that is not working.Has anyone else had this problem and found a resolution?Thanks in advance.Earl BeattieProE Systems AdministratorKomatsu America Corp.Peoria, IL

I created several snapshots to make an animation with in Creo Parametric.  I created the key frame sequence, but when I try to play the animation I keep getting the following error "Key frame sequence Kfs1 invalidated and will be ignored."  What does this mean?  How did I get an invalidated key frame sequence and how can I correct it?  Has anyone had this problem before?  I am not sure where to start because I did the process exactly as I have before, and it worked previously.

Interactively, if I turn off the new parameter interface, I can copy & paste the value of one parameter, into a new parameter. Anyone know of a way to do this in a mapkey? If I tried to do this with a trail file it would retain the value recorded in the trail file, so I don't think that's going to work for me. 

We just switched for IE browser to using the embedded mozolla_based+browser.

I can only find out about call out formats.The headers I am referring to are:FASTENER_ID  BASIC_DIAM  THREAD  TAP_DR  TAP_DEC  PERCENT_THREAD  CLEAR_DR_CLOSE  CLOSE_DEC  CLEAR_DR_FREE  FREE_DEC  CLEAR_DR_MED  MED_DEC  CBOREDIAM   CBOREDEPTH   CSINKDIAM   CSINKANGLE   BOTCSINKDIAM   BOTCSINKANGLEI know most are self explanatory, however there are some that I am not 100% sure on.What is the difference between DR and DEC values?What is THREAD_PERCENT?I am creating additional hole files and would like to fully understand them first.Many thanks,Miles
