I am trying to create a solid model with extrusion. I need to create a sketch first and then extrude. Is it possible using VB Api alone?If yes, what are the objects I need to use? Is there a object for creating sketches?

whenever we use Proselect() function .. Creo will trigget auto dialog at right top corner..but user want to change location to middle of the window.Also sometime this dialog goes backside of current active window..Is it possible to set dialog panel at center of window 

is there any  toolkit API to save a copy of snapshot(.png) formatbecause when i try to export using ProRasterFileWrite (PNG) format output will be black shadow .. but i need image as like in window

Hello! I created a solid via the ProSolidMdlnameCreate function with type PRO_MDLFILE_PART.The problem is I realized that the solid is well created but has not a coordinate system CSYS. Do you know why? I think it is normal, I tried to create a solid via Creo template and there was no CSYS too. And do you know how to create a CSYS in a solid with protoolkit C code? (I'm using Creo 7.0) Thank you very much!  

I have been trying to delete a component from an assembly during some days, but everything, that i´ve tried, has failed.Yesterday, I found some information about "ExecuteFeatureOps", and I saw that it´s necessary to select "resolve_mode". However, everytime i´ve tried to select that configuration, an error message appears:"To use a deprecated config option, you will need to supply an authorization code with 'allow_deprecated_config'. Please see article CS260154 for more information." I don´t know how to resolve it, so I would appreciate if somebody could help me.Thanks in advance!  

Hi All, I’m trying to get to grips with the OTK Java Free toolkit to create a fairly simple tool to just output the top level assemblies from an assembly as STEP files. However, I can’t even get the sample code from the Creo install to work, including the install test  -which randomly requires a deprecated config.pro option that pops up a warning about needing a code to enable it. Does anyone have some good tutorials on getting a simple OTK Java free (formerly J-Link) program to work. Even just a hello world example? Thanks in advance. 

hello everyone！My problem is that there are two components in an assembly , the component "A" has a square body, and the component "B" has a cylindrical quilt . Like the following picture.I want to use Creo Object TOOLKIT or TOOLKIT to use the quilt of component B as the cutting reference to create a curing feature in component A, and the cylindrical quilt of component B to cut the solid of component A.The final effect is as follows. I tried to fill the Solidify element tree with the pointer of quilt, and then use the "wfcWSolid_ptr" of component A creates the feature, but the creation failed because the solidify feature has no reference quilt. If anyone knows how to use B's quilt as a reference to create the curing feature, or how to successfully create the feature, please tell me the specific method, thank you very much！

I've searched everywhere for an example of this, and am coming up zeros. The only thing I've found is this article:  https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article?n=CS148500... and it doesn't work at all. (The "session" object isn't even instantiated in the example).Here is what I'm doing: ' Dim statements ' connection stuff ...... Is there a way to get usable image data out of a .tx3 file using the Creo 8 object toolkit?  this proprietary image file type is not usable outside of Creo, so i'd like to be able to pull out RGB values and any bump information if possible... 

wfcTexture::GetFilePath from the Creo 8 object toolkit returns only the file name, not the full path to the image file.  Is there any way to get the actual full file path for the texture image via the object toolkit? 

Design parts on CREO and submit it on Windchill is my day to day work, but in the last 2 weeks I been having some difficulties to show attributes at Windchill, let me explain step by step what I do:1) check out the part to modify2) Make some physical changes to the model as required 3) At Tools tab, I select the relations option4) On that window I write down all the parameters that I try to save5) In the parameters window I check on designate every attribute that I want to show in Windchill6) Save and check in after that process CREO let me do the check in, but with one warning saying:"The incoming attributes... are rejected because they do not fall within the definition of type"Do anyone knows how to solve this problem?           

Hello, In a VB program, I use the method "ListDependencies()" on an IpfcModel  (an assembly in my case) to get all the components. That works fine but that also provide all other dependencies like external references for example. Is there a way to know which kind of dependency is, and sort only components of my assembly and not other dependencies? Thank you for your helpRegardsThierry.      

Hello everyone,years ago using Creo2, i was able to use JLINK, now that I switched to Creo 9.0.2.0 I don't even know how to install it.From the installation setup of Creo 9.0.2.0 I can't even find it.I tried to install all the setup "Toolkit API" options, but in the Creo 9.0.2.0 installation folder I can't find any "jlink" directory.Can anyone help me, I'm a beginner.Thank you.

I am using Creo Parametric Release 5.0 and Datecode5.0.5.0Save a copy of assembly with selected child parts getting renamed.has to provide users to choose child - components either reuse or save a copy.

Hello, What would be the best way to get the inheritance part number into a drawing.  I am using creo with windchill My scenario is that i would like to be able to refer to this in a drawing automatically, i have been trying to see if there was a method with the parameters but when i create the inheritance feature, the file name is the only thing i can refer to, which the file name and PN do not always match.

The following tables are created in Creo and exported to csv. It is similar to what we want to implement.Therefore, the following points should be considered.1. Can I create and export the table as shown?2. Can I export extensions to xls?3. Can I insert a table into a specific area of an existing Excel file (xls or csv)?
