Hi ,I am working on Threaded Hole Feature , I used ProElementHoleThreadSeriesSet() & ProElementHoleScrewSizeSet() API to update hole type & Screw size and used ProFeatureWithoptionsRedefineFeature() after the same , But still not updating the feature Please help me to resolve the issue . Thanks & Regards,Kunal Bidkar

Hi All, I am exploring jlink asynchronous method and I see in the jlink user guide that the syntax to start a noninteractive, nongraphical creo parametric session is as follows - pfcAsyncConnection.pfcAsyncConnection.AsyncConnection_Start("pro -g:no_graphics -i:rpc_input",<text_dir>);where pro is the command to start Creo Parametric.I am not sure what I should put as 'pro' command. I have tried giving the path to parametric.exe in the Creo installation directory in C drive  as value of 'pro'. It worked if I give the relative path, but doesn't work for absolute path since mine has spaces in it and it doesn't get processed properly.Is there a way to establish a session without providing the path to parametric.exe? If it is mandatory, then is there way to process the absolute path which has spaces? Since I am planning to develop a rest service from where I will call the API to start a session, I can't use the relative path and if possible would like to completely avoi

Currently I run my code by clicking auxiliary application -> start, and after running I have to click stop.Although this does not affect the functionality of my code even if I do not click stop, is there a way to stop the aux app somehow in the stop method? Hello,I'm trying to use Apache POI to export some data to Excel in conjunction with an existing customization written with Java OTK. I'm using Eclipse on Windows. The project builds fine and loads in Creo, but it throws an exception when it gets to the first line of code that uses Apache POI. It says it's unable to find the class. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,-Russ

Hey,  I have created a table with ProDrawingTableCreate, it creates the table in the current sheet.My question is how do I create or copy the same table in all drawing sheets.I can get the  sheet's number with ProDrawingSheetsCount and loop on it, but I don't have an idea on how to place the same table in all of it. Thank you!

I have the set tessellation parameters as below: step size is assigned with model size ( diagonal of the bounding box ) / 30.chord height is set by fetching the model accuracy using the GetAbsoluteAccuracy() method.Angle control is set to 1.I am not getting a better result using this. The quality and the curves or circles in the model are not accurate. I am using creo parametric object toolkit version 8.0.2.

Hi!I have an assembly with a flattened cable harness and I'm trying to use the code below to get the tessellated mesh for the flattened cables. The problem is that I'm only getting the 3D version.In the real application code we're also retrieving several parts (connectors, etc.), and those are in the correct, flattened positions when we open the _mfg file. This assembly came from a customer, and they gave us "12345_flat.asm.1", "12345_mfg.asm.1", "12345_rout.asm.1", as well as .prt and .asm files for the connectors. When I open the "12345_mfg.asm.1" in Creo, I see the flattened cable harness. My questions are:Is the "12345_mfg.asm.1" the correct assembly to get the flattened harness?Is there a way to choose between the flattened and 3D version of the cables using the API?Are there any other config.pro options I may need to get the flattened harness?And off on a slight tangent...  Inn another place in our application we're passing a ProSolid as the first parameter to ProA

I am using Creo Parametric 8.0 8.0.1.0How to perform feature operations such as delete, resume, suppress and replace. I have been using pfcSolid.ExecuteFeatureOps() API which causes error pfcXToolkitBadContext. I searched through PTC documents and most of them are referring to enable deprecated config options CS181059. I want to set configuration option regen_failure_handling to resolve_mode however it requires special key as per CS260154.Please provide the special key mentioned in the CS260154 or an alternative function to perform these feature operations in WebLinkHere are the errors that I facedWhile using regen_failure_handling config option, user is presented with the warning message To use a deprecated config option, you will need to supply an authorization code with allow_deprecated_config. HI,I'm an beginner in  Creo Parametric ui customization. I'm trying to create ribbon tab with group and button, but can only create the button cascade that have sub-menu. How to create just a button with no any cascade in it ?Per the post, other questions mentioned in this thread with saving .rbn file I have already resolved, and now I'm confused why I can't design simple button.  

Hey guys,   I know that when creating table with Creo, it is possible to change table line display and put it to blank so the line is hidden. I want to hide a row line in my table, is there a command doing it and which command is it?   Example if I have a table with one column and 4 rows. I have been working with Creo 2 for many years but have now come across an issue that I am unable to solve.I have produced a 3D CAD assembly and placed 3 views in an existing drawing format. To fit into the format the scale has had to be reduced.This part has to be at a scale of 1:1 but is too large even to fit into an A0 format. Is there a way to increase the scale of the drawing format?The drawing is for BIM (Building information modelling) purposes and the requirement is for full size.

I have placed it with ProDwgtabledataOriginSet and ProMousePickGet until now. I want it to be place automatically next an already existing table. Do you know how to do it? Or how to get the coordinate position of the existing table so I can place the new one next it. Thank you!

The sample is having parts with the Assembly feature (Assembly cut) which is having a reference to the feature (Cut) present in the Assembly. When I tried to tessellate the part by surfaces the Cut feature is not present. Also, when trying to select the surfaces using the pfcCreateModelItemSelection method results in a pfcXInvalidSelection exception. I am using Creo parametric version 8.0.2.0 with the Creo Object toolkit C++. 

I need to obtain the appearance data of the parts and surfaces present in an assembly without the user interaction i.e., without interactively selecting the parts and surfaces by the user. I am using Creo parametric version 8.0.2.0

Hi All,I have written an application for Creo Parametric 4.0 M150 that utilizes the free VB API. Everything works fine on my computer with a bare install. However, when I deploy to someone who is using 3DExperience Enovia, I get an error at a very specific command – IpfcComponentFeat.SetConstraints(). The error is: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x800706F4): A null reference pointer was passed to the stub. I am indeed passing a null value, but per the documentation:The method IpfcComponentFeat.SetConstraints() allows you to set the constraints for a specified assembly component. The input parameters for this method are:Constraints—Constraints for the assembly component. These constraints are explained in detail in the later sections.ReferenceAssembly—The path to the owner assembly, if the constraints have external references to other members of the top level assembly.
