I have this problem: a cad model, a panel developed in sheet metal, with an opening in the center (a rectangular cut) with A and B dimensions. The model is parametric and is updated with a whole series of relations inserted. Obviously, this model is linked to a DRW for the creation of the DXF file for processing on the machines.It is possible and how, from a listing from excel file or notepad file with the various dimensions of A and B, to launch a mapkey or a bach file that automatically makes the DXFs of the various panels "n" times as many as there are variants in the listing?

Hi.  Creo 7 here. I'm trying to find a way to modify import recipe or whatever else could be driving this in order to have Creo import assemblies which contain assembly level appearance modifications with those modifications. Here's the issue breakdown:I have assemblies which mostly contain frames designed in Inventor/Solidworks. I export them to STEPs and import into Creo (cause I need to output PVZ files in the end). Parts which have appearance overrides are being imported with those overrides but any override at assembly level (no matter the depth) is not being imported. Now, I tried both 214 and 242 export protocols, I tried every option available in import settings and nothing gives me the result. I know those appearances are present in exports cause I can import them again into other software and they're there. Fun fact is, that the first time I did all of this Creo imported everything as intended...I think I may have altered something in Creo and no

I have a U profile that I control with parameters. There are 2 holes in this profile, if the length is 1000mm. If the profile is bigger than 1000mm, then I want to have 4 or more holes in the profile. Can this be set parametrically with Creo 7? How do I do this ? Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

I've got a rather large and complicated symbol to work on, and as we all know the interface to do this is horrible in Creo, with all text being overlaid on top of each other. So I had an idea: I'll draw my symbol in a hierarchical fashion, and then use Move Special to move all the notes to their correct positions! That actually worked ok, but it's still a lot of work to move all of the notes. Next brilliant idea: I'll use the VBAPI to connect to Creo with VBA from Excel and I'll have a table that just lists all the notes and their coordinates. Then I can work on my symbol in a nice, uncluttered environment and run the script to jam everything together before saving the symbol. This worked less well. I can't seem to connect to Creo when it's in the symbol editing more. It works fine to connect when I'm in part or drawing mode, but I get an error when in symbol mode. I'm guessing it's because of the ever-open menu. Does anyone know a way around this? I just use a copy-pasted &n

Dear All,I try to write an application which creates an object with JAX-WS library, but Creo gives JAXBException.The same code works very well in a standalone application.I think that Creo cannot run JAX-WS libraries. Hi there, I am trying to get rid of security warnings within Creo's own chromium browser, when visiting Web.Link enabled Websites (e.g. Windchill). Activating "remember my decision" only works until Creo or chromium is restarted. I tried  web_link_security_autoprompt no  but it does not seem to have an effect on that. Any suggestions?

Hi,   We calculate the outline size of the model through the "ProSolidOutlineCompute" function. In the case of a cylinder, two values among the outer sizes of X, Y, and Z are the same.However, if only two values of X, Y, and Z are the same, there is an error in judging it as a cylinder.Any ideas on how to determine if a shape is circular?   Thanks , Warm Regards. Hello All,Trying to connect with Creo using:AsyncConnection proe = pfcAsyncConnection.AsyncConnection_Connect(null, null, null, new Integer(30)); but receiving toolkit not found exception. After analyzing, the NMSD port is being started in custom port (11239) instead of default port value (1239).Is it possible to tell AsyncConnection to use custom port (11239).

Hy Martin   As per this thread, same issue.   I have the same problem by collecting all dimensions of a drawing in 7.0.3. I checked my class path. What is the different between both archives? Can you show us please the content of 3 java-classes? Thanks a lotDieter

I am using Creo Parametric 2.0 M080Dear Team, We have developed a toolkit(.dll) application(few years back), with few functionalities to export sketch information into PDD file(.XML). Now, we would like to debug this .dll file and interested to upgrade it in such a way, that it captures all sketch entity information such as dimensions and constraints.We are facing trouble when setting-up the debugging environment. when we set breakpoints in Visual Studio code and run local debugger, it triggers the Creo executable but then this toolkit is not running by default in the list of auxiliary applications.We would like to have a detailed session with the developers of this program, as we also have other queries related to functions implemented in the code.
