Hello, How to fine the area of inner (PRO_CONTOUR_TRAV_INTERNAL) contour of surface? This inner contour has been created by cut feature.

Iam able to extract text from symbols and detail notes by getting a handle of notes/symbol using the following code,modelitems =  detailItemOwner.ListDetailItems(EpfcDetailType.EpfcDETAIL_NOTE, 1) Now i need to extract Dimension Texts from a drawing.the modeItems that are returning from the above code does not contain dimension textsAny idea on how to extract those informations?    

My (simplified) ToolKit program calls ProEngineerStart() looks like :    void main() { ProError status; status = ProEngineerStart("parametric.bat",""); printf("ProEngineerStart(): %d\n", status); }   Run it in our office using company network (so as to get license) and sometimes the returned error code were -48 (failed) and 0 (OK) other times.  When it returned -48 colleagues' computers (two actually) were also had the same problem. When it returned 0 , the two colleagues were all OK. The strange thing is, run on my computer were OK always, no -48 at all.   I am suspecting the license server . . . however, what does the -48 exactly means?          suspecting license server's behavior

I am having trouble setting up the VB API. I would like to use it through excel and I am trying to get the example excel/VB program to run, but I am getting the error no: -2147352567, Error: pfcExceptions::XToolkitGeneralError.I think that I don't have my PRO_DIRECTORY set correctly, and/or the Pro/E Executable Path I'm using isn't correct. My PRO_DIRECTORY goes to my /ptc/proewildfire4 folder and I've tried the full executable path to xtop.exe, and proe.exe.Can anyone help me with this? If it makes a difference, when I try to run xtop.exe, I get the error RgiWrapIsoLib.dll was not found. Thanks for any help.

But don't find any information on the documentation given with Creo Parametric 7.0.2.0 Where this file must be located ?Which kinds of variable could be set within this file ? Hi all, I have some coordinates that I am able to export from another tool to give general component locations, and I'd like to be able to take this file and somehow automate the placement of parts in a blank assembly. Each component could be fixed in place for this, or assembled to a CSYS, if it's eaiser to import a bunch of CSYSs. I have no problem creating an external script to translate the output of the tool in to any format needed, but I just don't know how best to approach the placment of the parts. I looked at trail files, but I don't see a way to use actual numbers for XYZ, since the placement is done with the mouse. Even with AutoIT, I don't see a way to assemble a part and then enter XYZ coordinates for placement. Thanks

Hello community,   I have created a UDF with some pro/PROGRAM customizations like interchange of some parts and feature conditioned suppressing. I sometimes get an error when I place it through a mapkey:   impossible to integrate pro/program to the group; proceed without pro/program? and it asks me to confirm or cancel.   I can't reproduce the error in a reliable way so I'm wondering what could cause it.   Thanks

Hi,   I have a UI created for OTK application. There is button which when pressed allows user to select a face which will be processed later. We use pfcSession->select() for selection. Once selection is done, user presses middle click to complete the selection.   User requirement- When selection of the face is completed, by pressing 'Ok'/middle click, I want to stop any further redundant selection. Selection should happen only when pfcSession->select() is On.   Please help.   Thanks

So 2 have two models in 2 different modes: syn and asyn   model = pfcSession.GetCurrentSession().GetCurrentModel(); connection = pfcAsyncConnection.AsyncConnection_Connect(null, null, null, 20); model = connection.GetSession().GetCurrentModel();   I have checked and both models are valid and I have no issue casting the TableOwner tableowner from the two models. However, I cannot get a list of tables with async mode   TableOwner tableOwner = (TableOwner)model; if(tableOwner!=null) { tableOwner.ListTables().getarraysize(); }   tableOwner is not null but ListTables() actually returns null error. I am not sure if I do not cast it properly or I need something special to make it work.    

Hi all   I am just concerned to get dtlnote from drawing... Not those coming from format file. For drawing table , api is there to identify whether it is from format or not.... Simillar thing I could not find for dtlnote... So , is there a way to identify whether dtlnote belong to format or not ? Can I use some api related to read only dtlnote?

Hi there, is there a function or method in the toolkit / web.link to get all combined views of a part? I am already using ListViews() in combination with RetrieveView() to cycle through all views and export them as jpegs. I hoped that there would be something similar but could not found anything in the web.link documentation.   Thanks!

Hi there,   I wrote a script that cycles through all Views of a model (Assembly or Part) and exports screenshots. Works quite sweet. But there seems to be a problem with -at least- parts with combined views.   The function "ListViews()" does not work and throws an error "pfcExceptison::XToolkitInalidItem" var mGlob = pfcCreate("MpfcCOMGlobal"); var oSession = mGlob.GetProESession(); var CurModel = oSession.CurrentModel; CurModel.ListViews(); What's wrong?

Hi, my goal is to export an specific amount of parts (or better the model with a subset of parts) from an existing model from windchill via the rest api, in order to use/convert the model for further applications (okino polytrans -> unity, ....)   Detailed description: There is a complete model with all variants/features within windchill - we call it the 150% model. The task is to export a specific variant of the model.   What I have done/reached so far: I'm able to get the part tree list for the model via the rest api (parts for the 150% model), filter the tree in order to get the specific variant and get the visualization data (pvz/ol file) for each part.   The Problem: For my understanding the pvs file is the "glue" (I guess it contains the coordinates) between each ol file. Using the PTC visualization domain will give me a lot of pvz files - one for each part. It is not possible to open this e.g. in polytrans. Another solution was to export a pvs from creoview and

Hi, I want to measure minimum distance between two components from Protoolkit. Please can we know API and process to do this. We want to make it automate process so no selection. Component we will identify by its attribute and provide to API.   From front end I can measure minimum distance between two components by selecting components and then Measure -> distance then it displays.
