Hello!   In Java OTK it is possible to use Visit Methods (Creo 7 JavaUser’s Guide page 52). I'm don't understand how to implement interface com.ptc.wfc.wfcClient.VisitingClient to past it to one of Visit Methods. Anybody has experiences with this? Hi. I'm trying to figure out how to auto generate files names while using a mapkey to save a copy as a JPEG.   My goal is to hit the mapkey and a high-resolution JPEG saves to my desktop. I would need to save multiple JPEGs of a single part file.   The issue I'm running into is when it overrides the file, because it uses the same file name as the previously saved JPEG.   Hopefully that makes sense. Hello, I have a question about mapkeys. Is there any possibility to see what exactly does a mapkey do? I work with mapkeys, which have been created by either CAD engineers or former collegues and I would like to understand exact procedure of the mapkeys (in general). The simplier ones can be understood from the config file but not the more complicated ones. I hope I made the question understandable, thanks for any answer.  

Hello,   I want to ask if anyone know the relation between pixel unit and millimeter in Creo? I would like to set the radius of the ray line, but I don't know how to get the pixel value with mm size.

Hei Community, we're searching for a suitable c++ library to perform REST requests and parse Json to integrate into toolkit dlls. Are there any recomendations?   We tryed cpprest/casablanca from microsoft already. We build a sample client without creo and everthing works fine until we integrate it into our creo dll. With this library the dll is not able to be started in creo anymore.   Thanks for your suggestions.

I must read values from tolerance Table (for example shaft). Java user guide has following text: All the user specified information for a tolerance is saved in a tolerance table forISO and DIN standards. You can retrieve and set the data for tolerance tablesusing Creo Object TOOLKIT Java methods.  I cann't find this methods and cann't read values from tables. It is the ITEM_TABLE? ModelItems tables = model.ListItems(ModelItemType.ITEM_TABLE); Thank you

Hello,   I am looking to use custom bom balloons by default. I know how to change the bom balloons (Table-Properties-Type), however I want my format (.frm) to use my custom bom balloons by default.   I found the setting default_bom_balloon_type but when I create a new drawing from my format I get the "message Default BOM balloon symbol XXX is not present in the drawing. Creating BOM balloons of 'Simple' type instead."   Does anyone know how to solve that? I tried putting my custom bom balloon symbol in several different folders but it does not look like CREO searches for it. It looks it has to be embedded in the drawing.   Any ideas?   Thanks.

How to get the Default origin for those specific 'User Defined-Symbols' which has custom origin?

Hello,   I'm working on small idea to export the assembly drawing into one Set of pdfs. So to export, using JLink, there is the option:  PDFOPT_LAUNCH_VIEWER, boolean False But the JLink / Export Instructions is ignoring this feature without any Message? Are there any ideas? Hello everyone!   I am working with macros using OTK Java.I need to run one macro twice.Once I do this and everything works, and on the second start, an XToolkitNotValid exception is thrown.I tried to activate the window before running the macro, display the model, etc.But nothing helped.Does anyone know what the problem is?Thanks in advance.   Regards!

As the creo ui editor is structured in a grid form, I could not set a back ground image in the created application UI. We are welding heavy metal frames en the weldings weight easily exceeds 60 kg per frame. We like to sum this weight with our net component weight and display one weight at the drawing. There is a repeat table parameter (weldasm.totalmass) that holds the weldings weight but I do not like to show it in the bom list and rather like to make the sum of the net weight and the weldings weight. Does anyone have experience configuring this ?

Hi,I wonder if there is a way to save the istances of an generic assembly in individual assembliesEx:I have an assembly with 5 instances. Every instance contain components that belongs to other generic.I would like to know if there is a way for these 5 instances to be saved into individula assemblies with no connection to the previous generic and also the subcomponents that are used in instances that belongs to other generic to be saved individual without any coection to the generic.In few words i'm not allowed to use anymore the instaces. All assemblies, parts are not allowed to have any instance or to be an instance of a generic.I'm asking this because I have around 300 generics with ~40 instances. In total if I'm going to break the family table will be a huge number >20.000 models.I found a toolkit program that is able to break the family table in separatly models but it's able to do just for level1 and not for subcomponents(level2)Any ideea how I ca break these femily tables bef
