Hello,   Extensions are not importing in thingworx8.3 i have added Extension import policy in plaform setting jason file but still its throwing error. I have checked error log also in that showing related to import policy.I have deployed twice thingworx.war file and restarted tomcat also. i have attached error log file.

Hi , Looking to retrieve data from datatable using Timestamp field . I have requirement like retrieve current date data , weekly data (last 7 days) etc.  here timestamp values can be duplicated .  we want last 7 days entries from datatable. how we can do it?   Thank you

Hi guys,   In Thingworx Version "ThingWorx 8.4.2-b2151"   I'm using Collection widget to make a calendar.   I have a datatable with "date" column, column type is "DateTime".   When use collection widget, i set the sort column to date column, I have a service to load data from datatable by Month(each time it only load 28-31 rows from datatable base on user's choice of month).   Collection widget display correctly on default load, date is in order from 1 to the end of month(Service triggered when mashup loaded), but when user select different month, date order is mess up, no longer sort by date column, even user go back to the default loaded month, date order still mess up.

I have created a DataShape having 3 field definitions and binded the GetFieldDefinitions service to the list widget. Now i want to send the selected item in the list to a datable or a database. how do i do that?

I am trying to map the pwdLastSet AD attribute to a User Extenstion via Directory Services.  I added a property to the User Extension Thing Shape with Base Type = LONG: Next, I mapped the AD attribute to the user extension with a default value of 237 (I set a default is to show that the value is not being set properly):  However, the value is not set properly.  Here is a screen shot of my user extenstions to show that the value is zero:   It is not the value from my AD attribute: It was also not set to the default value 237.   Are there limitations to which AD attributes can be mapped to user extensions?   Thanks, Steve  

My Thingworx platform version is 8.4.0-b2013. I was trying to restrict access to Thingworx composer by removing users group from ComposerUsers group. But I was not able to access any mashup after that. How should I do?

I am trying to use aggregate function on a "result" infotable. The aggregate function is returning and info table "result1". in repeater widget we can automatically select the first row in the list using properties (auto select first row) and if we click the next button next set of list will appear is there any possiblities to automatically select the first  row in the next set of list?

I have a thingshape used in a template that relates to some particular area of functionality in that template. I want to allow a particular group to have access to the thingshapes properties and services, but not allow them access to any other parts of the template. If I set the run time permissions in the thingshape 'run time instance' level, does this mean I wont have to do override permissions at the template level?   TIA K

Hi, the custom widget given in the tutorial is not working after I imported it. It has errors during the runtime. "ERROR - TW.Runtime.Workspace.Mashups.getWidget exception loading widget { name: Error, message: simplewidgetdoesn't exist }" I have search the community about this problem and it says to clear cache or change browser. Done all of that but still having this error. Shouldn't it work if I just build the files from https://developer.thingworx.com/en/resources/guides/create-mashup-widget-extension/completed-example-create-mashup-widget-extension and import them?

Hi, Is it possible to fetch the button label or display name as a output in runtime. We know that the button doesn't have input/output arrows option to bind any service for its name. But we wanted to take the display name or label of button in the runtime. So, is there any other possible way to achieve this?   Thanks in advance, Shalini V.

I am using ThingWorx 8.3.2-b535.  I have an sql query service that returns 1 row of data (containing about 6 columns).  when I execute this service from the thing it takes around 1 second.  When this service is called from a mashup it takes around 7 seconds.  This mashup executes about 7 other services which are also sql queries and they generally take less than 1 second.   What is the proper way to diagnose why this is occurring?

How do I use the LoadBinary Service of FileRepository TT to convert a pdf file in my SystemRepository to array/stream of bytes and assign it to a blob type property of a separate Thing.   Currently, If I'm running the LoadBinary service with the file path as input in the Composer for the SystemRepository Thing, nothing is returned by the service.
