Following the steps in this guide I was able to get the installer to run, but it's failing. Error message is not of much help. Following some forum recommendations I uninstalled and reinstalled the OS. i.e. new VM. Running Ubuntu 18.04 on an Azure F4 VM. It appears to be similar to this unsolved windows 7 issue, which was asking for some logs, I attached the install.log in case that is relevant Any thoughts on what to try next? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Configuration Summary Review and confirm the following configuration settings: Installation directory: /opt/ThingWorxH2Trial-8.4.0-SNAPSHOT Local ThingWorx port: 8080 Local ThingWorx SSL port: 443 Minimum Java heap size for ThingWorx: 1024 Maximum Java heap size for ThingWorx: 2048 Press [Enter] to continue: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Setup is ready to install ThingWorx Trial for H2. Hi all, I am trying to display data using an XY chart from an infotable on Thingworx. I am aware that I can just use the existing XY chart widget in Thingworx but it does not meet the requirements which I need for a task. Therefore, I have decided to use d3.js to fulfill my requirements. The image shown below is what I have coded using d3.js and imported to Thingworx. However, the data values are hard-coded and that is not what I want. I want the values of XAxis and ASensor to be displayed on my XY chart but I am unable to do so despite binding the infotable with my data. I have attached the relevant files for reference. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Hi, We are using Creo Product Insight for ThingWorx extension on top of the ThingWorx Analytics extension. How can we create our own dashboards, mashups for showing data using the already existing services of ThingWorx Analytics and Creo Product Insight for ThingWorx extension. Can anyone please share the documents for the same with examples, so that I can go through it. Best regards, Aditya
Hi all, I am using the server free 30 days to test. I was able to connect my ThingWorx Foundation with my PLC through of ThingWorx Industrial Connectivity. Now I would like to communicate my local database with thingworx foundation. Does someone has any guide that can help me with this? Regards, Leonardo
Hello, I'm trying to fill out the status page of the configuration section for an asset. For the fields that have to do with time, it seems to want tags with boolean outputs, but the tags I have access to are outputting numerical values. Is there a way to say "if tag is increasing, value = true; if tag is static, value = false"? This list of avaliable operators seems a bit limited, but I'm hoping there is something I'm overlooking. Thanks
Hello, i already have problems looking for services like getapplicationkey for connecting with vuforia and getlicense to get and update the license

Hello, we want to store some data for long term where the dataset maybe become huge and has frequent updates. The community recommends not to use DataTables for this usecase. So I installed the Relational Database Extension and was quickly able to establish the connection and create the required tables. But now I run in some trouble as the datatable has a lot of columns and we transport the data in infotables around, I would like these infotables or JSONS as Parameters for the SQL-Query/Command. How can I access these kind of parameters? This example fails with an exception: Unable to Invoke Service TestInsert_2 on SQL.ProductionTimeSegment : Execute Update failed: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: Unclosed quotation mark after the character string '[JSON.Value]);'. Additional Question: How can I handle secure dynamic SQL, e.g. create an Table machting a given DataShape?
Hello, I created custom service to fetch InfoTable data through Rest API and tried converting the output of the INFOTABLE using INFOTABLE.toJSON() function and set the output parameter accordingly but while I am trying to access it using rest API I am not getting the output in the JSON format. var params = { maxItems: undefined /* NUMBER */, onlyUnacknowledged: undefined /* BOOLEAN */, onlyAcknowledged: undefined /* BOOLEAN */ }; // result: INFOTABLE dataShape: "AlertSummary" var data = me.GetAlertSummary(params); var params = { table: data /* INFOTABLE */ }; // result: JSON var result = Resources["InfoTableFunctions"].ToJSON(params);
I have installed thingworx foundation downloadable trial version one machine and thingworx industrial connectivity on another machine. I am following below guide while establishing connection between thingworx foundation and thingworx industrial connectivity https://developer.thingworx.com/en/resources/guides/thingworx-industrial-connectivity-guide This guide assumes that you are utilizing the hosted Foundation server in combination with the downloadable Industrial Connectivity. It also mention that some instruction requires modification in case of "downloadable Foundation trial". In my case the above mentioned guide does not work. I am not sure what are the steps which required modification in case of hosted foundation server. Please let me know if any one had tried the same for hosted Foundation server. I am also attaching the connection settings for thingworx industrial connectivity and error I am getting while establishing connection between foundation and industrial

Hello everybody, I am using a Thing with MSSqlServer template to connect the system to a SQL database. The goal is to log PLC tag (binded to a Remote Thing) values, and store each under its relative database column. I am using a simple SQL command to write these values into the database: Spoiler (Highlight to read) INSERT INTO *TableName* (Column1,Column2, ..., Column15) VALUES ([[input1]],[[input2]], ..., [[input15]]) INSERT INTO *TableName* (Column1,Column2, ..., Column15) VALUES ([[input1]],[[input2]], ..., [[input15]]) Together with another service linking each input parameter to my remote thing properties: Spoiler (Highlight to read) var params= { input1: prop1, input2: prop2, ... input15: prop15 }; SQLcommand(params); var params= { input1: prop1, input2: prop2, ... input15: prop15 }; SQLcommand(params); With this, I am able to ALMOST get what I want. In fact, when looking at what I am actually logging in the SQL database, it look

Hey Guys I was struggling for a very long time to use a custom font in Thingworx that will be used by all the widgets, texts and labels and have finally gotten it right, and thought I would share. The first step would be to add your custom fonts to a repository in on the thingworx server. 1. Add a fileupload widget to a mashup. 2. Set the RepositoryName property to SystemRepository 3. Set the Path property to /Fonts/ 4. Now run the Mashup and choose your font file on your computer and click the "Upload" button to save the file in the repository. (I have done it with both ttf and woff files" 5. In thingworx composer, select the mashup or master mashup of your project. Navigate to the "Custom CSS" tab. 6. In the CSS, paste the following CSS and click save @font-face {font-family: THENAMEOFYOURFONT;src: url(/Thingworx/FileRepositories/SystemRepository/Fonts/THEFONTFILE.ttf) format('truetype');} *{font-family: 'THENAMEOFYOURFONT', sans-serif; font-size:18p
May I know how to put value which is from aggregate function in data table services, and what is the output?
