Hi everyone,I want to passing my grid to a pop up mash up to edit some fields inside the pop up. However, the edited fields in my mashup are not saved when i exit the pop up.Basically i passed the selected rows of my data table to a mashup via navigation widget using getdatatableentries service. Then i run service that update the fields inside the pop up, passing editedtable as an input to that service. I was scratching my head for last couple of days, any fresh eyes, and help will be appreciated. Best,

If i understood it correctly, data tags can be used to tag desired time-series data of a property of a thing like tagging data under specified conditions. So, i wish to try it out. Can anyone help me on this??

PFB the topics where I need some clarity. Kindly advice. 1. I have a set of assets in Thingworx already which is connected to Kepware (tag mapping done) and I now need to have all those assets with same properties and tag mapping in Manufacturing Apps. Is there any way I can get it done without creating all those entities manually in Manufacturing Apps. 2. When I connect Kepware with Manufacturing Apps, I could see all the assets in Kepware are created in Thingworx with the KEPServerEX connection name prefixed before the asset name. And i was told by PTC that it is the out of box capability of Manufacturing Apps. If that is the case, is there a way to change the naming convention of asset while creating ? 3. Also when we create assets manually in Manufacturing Apps the things are created in Thingworx with 'Asset'. Can i change this naming convention too ? 4. How to create assets in Manufacturing Apps dynamically from a service in Thingworx Thing.

Hello,   We have the same constraint. I asked PTC support if it is possible to have the source code of the existing ContentLoaderFunctions resource to extend the functionalities, but if it is commonly asked by developers, would it be possible to have the status code natively in the future ? Because when requesting an API, sometimes it is quite useful to know if we get a 204 or 401 or a 500 status code.

Hi,   I am to using TW Industrial Connectivity for connect my TAGs from PLC with TW Foundation, like the imagem below:   I have connection with the TAGs from PLC!   Now I would like to connect that TAGs with, for example, a pie chart, and when each one of my values change in the value of TAG my pie chart change too.   How I make this?   Regards. We are trying to import entities from 7.0 to 8.4 The persistence provider is changing but we aren't worried about the data now.   Can this be done? Appreciate your help with this! Should we go 7.0 => 8.0 => 8.4   Thanks Sabarish

Hi,I am facing same problem.Data from TWX SQL SERVICE & SQL retrieved values are not matching for one column data. Number of rows returned are same in both cases.Please share if you have any resolution... This is very critical for me.Thanks in advanceSarma

In java sdk, if I set a property more than 100 times and then call updatesubscribedproperties, lets say 200 times. I observe that only 100 values are sent to the server. I assume there must be some buffer size/ stack size which determines this depth of stack. Is there a way I can increase the "buffer" size to more than 100 ?   Thanks -Manas

Hi Community,   I tried connecting a OPC server to Thingworx using this guide and it already shows "connected: true" in Thingworx. I`m also able to bind the variables with "manage bindings", but the values are not transmitted (all are 0). Navigating from one Mashup to another.   Hi All,  I am new to Thingworx Platform. I want to develop a dashboard screen where I have a dropdown list with multiple options. Options may include Machine1, Machine2, Machine3 and Other. On clicking 'Other', it should take me to another mashup where user can manually search for an asset. The 'OtherPage' mashup and dropdown list is already ready.    How can I link two mashups together so that once I click particularly on Other, it should navigate to 'OtherPage' mashup?   Kindly provide a solution. Hi all,    I am using following the C SDK guide: https://developer.thingworx.com/en/resources/guides/thingworx-c-sdk-tutorial/sample-code-c-sdk-tutorial   At the guide, I am trying to follow the 'ExampleClient' example (step 3). I am building the example code properly, and I establish a connection to the platform. However, when I monitor the 'thing', I see it as an 'unbound', unlike the example. I have tried using the 'Administrator' user for the application key, but it didn't help.    What am I doing wrong?   Thank you for your time

Hi,   I have a set of data coming in to thingworx from an industrial thing via opc aggregator. The data is fine in a Mashup as i can control the number of places of decimal in the mashup control... But when I send this data to vuforia, there is no control of places of decimal so I'm getting huge data values.   Is there any way to control this in thingworx to control places of decimal at the "industrial thing" level?   Thanks, Paul. 

@slangley    After successfully logging in using the ThingWorx Default Login page, the user will land on the home page mashup which i have created. If the user clicks on the browser back button while on this home page, we need to reload the page.  But if the user navigates to other mashups/ pages and clicks the back button it can navigate to the previous screen.   So basically Immediately after logging in i need make the Browsers back button behave like a reload and not allow the user to go back to the login page. How can i achieve this in thingworx??

I installed both Thinngworx foundation server and Industrial Connectivity, version 8.3 trial. The Thingworx foundation server is working well, I can connect to composer in Browser. However, I tried to configure IC to connect to Thingworx, and then get an error:    Date Time Level Source Event1/8/2019 10:50:18 AM Error ThingWorx Native Interface Connection to ThingWorx failed. | Platform = localhost:80/Thingworx/WS, error = could not initialize a secure socket connection.   Thanks a lot!

Hello Community,   In this document from page 206 onwards, OPC UA Services are described. How would i use these services in Thingworx? I`m currently looking for an alternative to OPC Aggregator (Kepware Server) to connect a OPC Server running on a Raspberry Pi to the platform and thought I could maybe use the Services?   Thank you!

Hi, I wanted to delete multiple rows in sql database. I have given the input as infotable which has default datashape that I have binded the grid to. The grid data selected rows I am giving as input to the multi delete service infotable ip. I tried using the grid advanced but the code does not work. The Things["Bobcat_DBConfig"].Delete_Organization(params) is the service which has sql query to delete the row ( WITH cte AS(SELECT ROW_NUMBER() OVER(ORDER BY org_id) AS RowFROM Organization) DELETE FROM cteWHERE Row = [[rowNum]] )   How could I resolve this?    Thanks in advance, Shalini V.

Hi, In my sql query I am trying to search words in column having letters that I search for. I am using LIKE operation to perform this but it doesn't work. I sometimes have a service write to a specific field in the user extensions in the background.  Other services allow a refresh trigger to the service, but the user tab does not.  How does the user extensions list under the user tab get updated?

I have only created 3 columns in the grid. The fourth one appears as an extra and there is no need for it. Removing this extra column will greatly help in improving the look and feel of the grid. So how can the last column (unnamed column in the marked in red in the image) be removed.

Hi Team, I have installed TWRX 8.4.1 with H2 persistence provider, but is not able to start the WebApp on tomcat.The following error is displayed:   Not able to get connection from the underlying database.   I suppose starting from Thingworx 8.4+, a username & password is required in the platform-settings.json file for H2 persistence provider also.Below is the related content of my platform-settings.json file:   "PersistenceProviderPackageConfigs":{ "H2PersistenceProviderPackage":{ "ConnectionInformation":{ "password":"twadmin", "username":"twadmin" } } }   Please help regarding what is the default username & password for H2 provider.

Hi Folks,   I have installed TWX 8.3 as per the Guide but not able to Load Composer page and getting 401 error as shown below in the attached snapshot. I have gone through all the similar posts on the community but no luck in my case. I am guessing its related to DB but not sure and thus need your help to fix this.     Steps done: 1. Apache 8.5 installed 2. JVM checked: C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_102\bin\server\jvm.dll 3. Java options added:  -Dserver -Dd64-XX:+UseG1GC-Dfile.encoding=UTF-8   4. PostgressSQL 9.4 installed 5. Added new login Role "twadmin" with required privileges and put same password as in "platform-settings.json" file. 6. DB setup and Schema scripts executed successfully but got 57 tables shown in the schema. 7. Following folders added. -ThingworxPlatform (platform-settings.json) -ThingworxPostgresqlStorage (PG_9.4_201409291) 8. Provided required access to above folders. 9. Updated Enviroment System variables with required paths of ab
