I have 4 different sites, each one with Kepserver EX installed, is there a way or best practice to get connected all Kepserver each other? thank you

We installed KEPServerEX 6.14.263.0 on a customers VM last year and they now say it's getting flagged by their antivirus software. Not sure what they are using but wondering how often this happens and if installing the latest version will help?

I have added a number of tags to the device. But when I open the quick client, I get an Unknown value and Bad quality. This is for an Omron PLC and the addresses are like GSR_NXTC.S_READ.AS_TC[0].S_CH[0].N_PV. Also, when I click on "Launch Quick Client Here" I get 5 times as many tags as I want. I have to delete unwanted tags. But if I make a change they all come back. There are 53277 items. I only need about 30 of them. All the other stuff is un-needed. Is there another way to handle editing? It doesn't appear to be able to be done from the Quick Client. KepserverEx 6.14 

Hi, I tried alot to connect the subject PLC with serial port to kepserver, but its not responding. Though its works with FX Cpu but not with q series PLC with serial port.when i select the series and whatever it select the default setting for serial port are different from the setting in the programming software GX works-2. with by default setting its not communicating, while if i change the communication parameters as i set in the programming software, then it give error for device not responding."Date Time Level Source Event29/04/2024 22:57:16 Warning Mitsubishi Serial Channel1.Device1 | Device is not responding. | ID = '0'.". Seems like kepserver 6.6 is not support q series serial port driver. Please help me.

KEPServerEX 6.15V6.15.132.0I have multiple ODBC values that show correctly in quick client but the sim tags they are linked to keep changing to negative values. The SIM tags will eventually show correctly but this behavior isn't expectable for my use case. For the life of me I cannot figure out what's going on here..

I am using Canary Labs Historian to collect opc data from KEPserver. I am experiences issues where we get NoData due to the fact that Canary is receiving messages with out of order sequence numbers (off by 1). Canary thinks this is an issue on the KEPserver sid. What could cause this and is there a configuration setting that could help alleviate this?

Hello,     I am sorry for this simple question. I want to know is there any configuration to be made on KEPServerEX or Allen Bradley PLC side to write tag values from KEPServer to the Allen Bradley PLC.   In my project data is being stored in database from a KEPServer using a Data logger. Some data from the PLC will be read and stored in the Database and some data we need to write from DB to the PLC. I want to the configurations required to write data to the PLC from DB. Thanks, in advance.

I have an OPC DA client (Citect) writing a value to a PLC via Kepware. The value written is 1, 2 or 3 and once the PLC has seen this, it resets the value back to 0. This works fine.The problem I have is that Citect never sees the value reset to 0 and the value in Citect 'sticks' at 1, 2 or 3. I can however see that in Kepware (via Quick Client) the value is 0. It appears that Kepware is not giving an update to the Citect OPC client.If I restart Citect, the value is successfully read as 0 (presumably because Kepware will then provide a general refresh of all tags to Citect). Is it possible for Kepware to get confused when a tag has two new values in quick succession? (0 to 1 and then 1 to 0) i.e. It sends the first change to the OPC client but not the second change.I have seen something similar with another OPC server in the past where it would forget to send the second update. 

Hi, I tried to connect between KepserverEx V6 with my omron CP2E-N but when I read the value in OCP client it always return Bad quality. I don't know why, and where I went wrong. Below is my config. Please help me. Thank you very much  

Hi there, I am trying to set up some simulation tags to do some testing on software we are writing. I have a series of INT values that I need to write, (one every minute) but I need the simulation to start at midnight... so that is when I want the first value in the chain to be written. I have set up a USER (6000,......) tag, but the value starts when I created the tag, and I can't find any way to start it at a specific time. Is that possible?

Transferring a license from a development server to the production server, it looks like this can be done as long as you have access to the MyKepware account the license originally came from and it still has support? Must also use the same MyKepware credentials when transferring that were used for the original activation? What happens if the perpetual is out of support? Anyone has experiences in connecting with IMM through Euromap 77 by using OPC-UA client driver?From what I know Euromap77 is OPC-UA based, so I suppose we can use OPC-UA client driver to collect data. And if don't use OPC-UA client driver, is there anyway to connect through Euromap 77?

About connecting Toyo IMM, when I read document of Euromap63, there is a block diagram that display the connection which tells Machine in Plant floor --> Share Folder--> OPC Server.Please verify me if OPC Server right here is Kepware or maybe some other OPC Server? Besides, I want to ask anyone who has already connected through this way that how the Machine in Plant Floor can attach/export their files to the share folder in order to the response when Kepware gives the request? Will It need to be required extra coding or maybe involved the Toyo IT support to do this? Or need IoT gateway?

It appears that we are encountering difficulties when incorporating MTConnect devices into our system. These devices appear to be consuming significantly more memory compared to other devices. Specifically, after adding 23 MTConnect devices, Kepware crashes upon reaching the memory usage limit. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Good day,I'am currently working on project that involves connecting 2 SCADA systems/servers (Cimplicity software from GE) with 5 Allen-Bradley PLCs (1x 1756-L85E, 4x 1756-L81E) via OPC-UA. Setup; There are 2 SCADA servers (A and B), they both have Cimplicity running with redundancy setup A=Master, B=Backup. Each server has KEPServerEX 6 installed on it with the same connection setup.PLCs: There is the main PLC L85E that takes care of almost everything and 4 smaller once (L81E) for some fast calculations and motions.The biggest problem that I have now is with the communication with the main PLC. The smaller once have no problems. Just having one server running gives us problems. Kepserver is losing it's connection with the main PLC almost every time we are doing  online changes in the PLC logic (Socket error occurred receiving data. Error=10054,..An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host). Second problem is that it takes 2-5 seconds to see something ch

Hello, I think I need some help configuring some Datalogger Trigger settings. I have a set of tags that I wish to record during a specific operation where the frequency of the logged data should match whenever the value of a single monitor tag changes. I set up a condition-based trigger where under the general settings I configured the start and stop logging conditions to reflect the specific operation during which I wish to record data, and this behaves as expected. Since I only care about logging data when the value of a single tag changes, under the Logging Conditions menu, I set the 'Log on Static Interval' field to No and 'Log on Data Change' field to Yes. I set the Monitor Item ID to the tag whose value I want to drive the data logging, set the Monitor Item Update Rate to 1000 milliseconds (I am fine with checking the monitor tag's value once a second), and make sure there is no deadband type (because I wish to log any value change). And somehow, when I check my databas

Based on the attached details of the license - are we going to need additional licenses/upgrades before we can transfer the license to the new system? Hello!I'm doing a project that involves linking variables from an Excel sheet to tags of a Siemens S7-1200 PLC through KEPServerEX. I have successfully made a connection using the Siemens Ethernet TCP/IP Ethernet Driver.The PLC is going to be attached to a PC used by an operator. This PC doesn't have TIA PORTAL V16 installed, and we'd like to connect it to our S7-1200 with KEPServerEX. We also keep in mind that this PC is shut down at the end of every shift and turn on by the supervisor of the next shift.When we did tests and tried to connect the PLC to a PC via the Ethernet port without launching TIA PORTAL V16, KEPServerEX couldn't access the PLC IP (the one that you set in TIA PORTAL). It wasn't until we launched TIA PORTAL and connect it to our PLC, where TIA PORTAL V16 added an additional IP address to the ethernet interface (192.168.XX.XXX) different than the default IP address of the interface (169.254.XX.XXX), that KEPServerEX could access the PLC address through the newly adde

This was working yesterday, and during the night Windows installed updates and restarted the computer (this is on a development computer for now).  Not sure what the issue is. It connects to the DSN and says it is logging data. Then after that I get the recordset error, but no description of that the error may be.

Hello, We have BMS devices connected to Kepware KEPServerEX6 using BACnet/IP Driver. Devices are showing Bad(Out Of Service). Before few months reading were healthy.After firmware update on BACnet device, reading are steady bad.We restarted KepServer but still its same.
