there is a problem in finding the solution of the equation in given below due to change in change in value caused by unit tonnes automatically gets converted to Kg.

Hi all, I am trying to perform a 4 parameter logistic regression using genfit on a data set in Mathcad prime 4.0. I already have done this regression online, so I know what my guess values should be. I just want it for Mathcad workflow. Unfortunately, I am getting a real number error, even with close guess values. Is there any way to see the domain of these guesses? I hope this isn't a rendundant question to the site, and I've attached my document to look at. Thanks a ton in advance!(picture if needed)  

HelloI purchased the license of Mathcad Prime 9 on July 14th, but it now shows that I have reached the maximum number of licenses.But I have never activated any of them.Can you help reset this authorization? Good afternoon, I am sure this is simple but cannot find an answer. What is the most direct way to delete an else block that is empty?  I really struggle with this.  Am I missing something? 

I converted worksheet from 15 to prime having minimize keyword. Giving different result after conversion are there any changes that is required to do in worksheet. 

Hello, I'm new to mathcad (express prime 9.0.0.0 and have full functionality for another month), so extra points for being extra articulate 🙂 The image below on the left is what I am trying to accomplish and what I've typed out within Mathcad. The image below on the right is the book example I am trying to replicate. I am trying to plot Fr_eff/X vs X with different "p" values, which makes sense when looking at the text. Some Questions:Why is the error "trying to plot to many range variables showing up?"In the example textbook they are showing the function they are Plotting "Fr/X". How are they plotting the function without writing the inputs to the function, ie. Fr(X,p)?They are only plotting p=0.5 up to 7 (in increments of approximately 1 in certain cases), which is not how they define p at the top. How are they only plotting certain p values, and not all of them?Last and obvious question, what am I doing wrong?   Thanks EDIT: I've at

Good evening,I am trying to solve an exercise in MathCad prime 8.0 with the RKadapt function but it return a very unusual error that says "Unknown error: Exception generated by call destination", I have tried to change the function with "Adams" or "rkfixed" and it returns the same error, I have also tried to redefine the equivalences as for example "(d/dr)^2 y(r)1 = y3". Attached there is a screeshot of my work sheet with the differential equation that I need to solve and the procedure that I did.Thanks to everyone in advance.    

Hello,I plotted this function and the graph looks something "strange", at least at first glance. Normally it should have shown a continuous line, or? MC8 Prime.

I am unable to plot multiple traces in Mathcad prime 9.0 when first defining a chart component from the menu ribbon.  For example, I selected chart component from the menu ribbon and defined an X1:=x,  Y1:=cos(x) and Y2:=sin(x) but only the Y1 trace appears in the plot.I still had Mathcad 8 on my computer and was able to plot multiple traces.I then cut and paste the multiple trace chart component from 8 to 9 and it worked in 9.It seems like the multiple traces just doesn't work when I start a graph from the menu in 9.  What's going on?  Any suggestions on how to fix the problem in Mathcad 9.0?  I tried exiting the program and rebooting but I cannot get multiple traces in chart components when starting from the menu ribbon.  I can only get it to work if I copy from an existing multiple trace chart component.  A pdf and the mathcad documents are attached.    

Good morning, per subject, I need to run a file.xmcd from the command line in an installer.  I am using Inno setup.  The command line looks like:       [Run] Filename: "{app}\Readme.txt"; Description: "View the Readme file"; Flags: postinstall shellexec skipifsilent unchecked Filename: "{app}\FILE.mcdx"; Description: "Open FILE"; Flags: postinstall shellexec skipifsilent       I can launch mathcadprime.exe but I cannot shell execute this exe with the associated file.xmcd. Ideas? How does one run file.xmcd from a command line and associate with the latest Prime? thank you.

Hi all, I have a bending beam function that i would like to plot for the deflection, shear and moment in the beam. I have the deflection as the first normal bending part that is represented by afunction and the unloaded part after it, with a different function. I had it in Mathcad15 however now after converting to mathcad prime 7 it doesnt plot anymore. Thank you !

Hi, in my sheet i have a set of equations with multiple variables which i have calculated ( around 40 equations). Now I have to solve these equations by equating them to zero in the solve block. I assigned these equations to variables and equated these variables to zero in the solve block. but unfortunately, is not working in the solve block. So now every time i change any parameters in my sheet i have to manually copy all 40 equations to the solve block and equate them to zero in the constraints.Is there a simpler way to do this?Thanks    

Hi guys, I am doing my master's dissertation and i have come across a problem. I have in my sheet Fourier series which is used to show displacement field in this research i am doing. The problem is that by the end of my calculations i have to differentiate a few equations with these Fourier coefficients. I am but unable to do this as in the differentiation operator i am unable to use anything other than variables in the denominator, i am unable to have the index operator in the denominator of the differential equation. I have just started working with Mathcad a month ago. I  have attached two pics to show what i am trying to get at. Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you. 

Hi All,  We have been using this worksheet for a while which in theory allow us to look at different restrain configurations. Its always been a bit flakey, but converting to Prime seems to have finally killed it.  I just wonder if anyone has some advice on how to get it to work?     

I work from home periodically and access my company's network via VPN. Normally this arrangement works fine with Mathcad Prime.  However, every 24 hours my VPN connection times-out and has to be reconnected due to IT settings.  If I leave Mathcad with a worksheet open overnight, then the next day I find that Mathcad has switched to Express mode.  Even after I reattach to the VPN, Mathcad remains in the limited functionality mode.  I have to go through the licensing procedure, re-entering the license server name each day to get back to full functionality.  Is there a way to get Mathcad to notice that the license server is available again and reacquire a license automatically?  (I also use Creo Parametric, and it does this very thing.)
