Mathcad

Hi, so I use the trial of Mathcad on my desktop computer at home for my grad school classes. Unfortunately, my PC case broke yesterday and it had my completed homework file on it that was done on Mathcad. I was wondering if there was a way I could recover the file from Mathcad online on my laptop. I have access to other PC's on campus but I only have a personal Mac laptop that does not run the software. Please let me know. Thanks!

This month’s challenge is related to electrical engineering. We have a simple circuit with an electrical potential of 220 Volts. Initially we have a single 10 Ohm resistor. Then we add a second resistor in parallel, with 10% higher resistance. Then we add a third resistor in parallel, with 10% higher resistance than the previous resistor. And so on. Calculate the current in the circuit for the single resistor case. Calculate the resistance of each additional resistor and current through each resistor for 2, 3, 4, 5, and 10 resistors in parallel. Can you write a function or program that calculates the resistance of each resistor and current through each resistor for n resistors in parallel? These calculations are fairly straightforward, so it will be interesting to see what tools – vectors, matrices, loops, plots, charts, etc. – that you use to solve the problem. I don't own a product code for my student Mathcad and I can't activate the license I received via email.

Although I can create a plot, I am not able to format it. The Symbol, Line Style, Color Scheme, Trace Thickness, and Surface Fill options are all grayed out. Only can change Trace Color.

Hello everyone. I publish a work done with MATHCAD 15. I don't think you can do the same with PRIME. What do you think about it?      

Hello,I am reasonably new to using MathCad and I am experiencing an issue when trying to solve the programs on page 7, 8 and 9 of the attached work sheet. I am looking for outputs to the 'Column' 'Lp' and 'Lr' functions for a range of values, i. However, I am being met with the error message 'This array index is invalid for this array'.Any advice is much appreciated as I am still learning the software.Thanks in advance

How must I set up the XMCD, MCD converter for Mathcad Prime 8.0.0.0 ?

Dear colleagues,Mathcad 3, Windows 10. I resolve the system of equations. I defined the function named "Pt(I,I2,...,Cbb)" which consist solution (''n'', and ''p") of these equations.  In the next solve block, I try to fit experimental data - two rows - N33, P33 (where I1 is X). But unfortunately, minerre algorithm does not work giving me the error. The program is a bit busy, but the main problem is only in the last solving block. Probably someone could identify a problem in the syntaxis of the last solving block which tries to fit data by function "Pt" and parameters "Nt" and "Et". Probably the problem is that "N" and "Et" are vectors.

I'm in the "Acquisisci Licenza"(Acquire License) phase of the installation of PTC MATHCAD. The issue is that while I'm getting the free 30 days of mathcad prime, the installation tool tests my eligibility to the program but stops telling me that "Servizio licenze occupato" (busy licensing service).I'm an MSc student of Aerospace Engineering so I should be eligible.Thank you.

Greetings,  I have several sets of data for the tested strength of a material. The maximum number of data points in each data set is 5, so I really don't have a lot to work from. Also, I'm not as handy with statistics as I would like to be, so I'm throwing this to you guys. I need to take this data into a function and output a single value that represents the predicted safe lower limit of the data set for which 95% of all future tested samples will be higher. I'm basing this function on the Kolmogorov–Smirnov statistic and Student's T test.  The intention is to determine the safest strength of material based on tested data, but not be too conservative. I wrote this to do what I intend, however I'm not 100% sure if what I'm doing is based on sound statistical thinking. Below is a screenshot of the function and attached is the worksheet. Please, play with it and inform me of your thoughts.

Hi, wondering if someone can help me out with this one please? Mathcad Prime 7 I have a vector [A], which could have any number of rows, each element can be either zero or one, and the origin element is always one. I have another vector [B], which has the same number of rows as [A], and contains data (forces). I would like to create another vector [C], where each element in [C] should equal the corresponding element in [B] if the corresponding element in [A] equals one. If an element in [A] equals zero then that value in [B] gets added to the last element in [C] that related to a one in [A]. That continues until another one appears in [A], and it starts again. Good evening everyone! I have already presented the photos of the attached worksheet (which I give to this community) in a previous post. However, there is a small problem: why does transformation 28), at the bottom of the worksheet, go wrong? I thank those who will answer and also those who will find something wrong in all the work that has requested  "Stunde und Stunden der Arbeit"... I hope that, with the download of the worksheet, the bitmap images do not move from their original position, otherwise there will be a bit of chaos.  

Hi All   This is my first post for help so bear with me.   I want to use Prime for what used to be fast and easy in Mathcad 15.   I have a work round but it is so slow so asking the forum if there is a better faster way in Prime. Perhaps a future scriptable data file saving component?   First what was possible in Mathcad 15   Mathcad 15 had a data file export component. This data file export component when you selected "Formatted Text" did four things 1) Text in double quotes ended up in text file with single quotes 2) Text in single quotes lost the quotes in the text file 3) Adjacent quotes "" to indicate no data did not appear in the text file. 4) Numbers stayed as numbers In this way a very large text file could be generated from a Mathcad matrix quickly   Here is a simple example.   Primes current file output functions cannot duplicate this Mathcad 15 data components behavior.   Second how I got around the limitation. Hi, I have three materials. Each with their own sub typesMaterial - TypeA             - A1, A2, A3, A4B             - B1, B2, B3, B4C             - C1, C2 My idea is to let the user to select the material and type. I was thinking on having a combo box to select a material and then a second combo box that would change depending on the material selected. I have been trying for quite a bit without luck. Maybe there is an alternative way of doing this? Any help is appreciated! Regards,

Hi experts, Can Mathcad solve the below equation?  because I would like to get the result like the below table, but I don't have any idea how to solve equation 19. for example, when the coordinates are (0.48, 0.15), the result should be 0.653629. but I think my equation has an issue in there, so the result is wrong.   Could you please give me some ideas?
