Hi   I would like to subtract the values in the column by subtracting 2 from 1, 3 from 2, etc. and have results in a new column. Basacly i would like to have differences betweene two lenghts.

No matter what the value is it always passes to ok

Hi, I'm trying to figure out the math for something that I did in CAD. Eventually, I have to code it in Fortran. However, I thought I should try in Mathcad first. I found some websites and tried to use the information they provided. For their inputs, I get their answers. However, when I try to use the real inputs from the CAD model it's way off and doesn't seem to make any sense. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. This isn't a Mathcad issue, just me trying to figure out the math. From what I can tell this is the point normal form of intersecting planes. I actually know what the surface normals are. But the values I'm getting from the math don't match at all. Ultimately, I need to figure out the angle between the intersecting line and the local xy plane (rather than the global xy plane). I tried to provide some pictures. I have triple checked my inputs and don't see any issues there. I suspect my math is not right, but I have no idea why. Anthony 

Hello. I have Mathcat Prime 4.0 Student Licencse. I cannot find a download for Mathcat Prime 4.0 and cannot use the License to activate Prime 7.0. How can i upgrade my License to work for 7.0? My account is not permited to use the PTC LicenseManger online

When running MathCad 14 it is looking for a license file. It cannot retrieve one over the internet. Can you provide a license file?

I just loaded Prime 8 on my computer which also has Prime 7 amd Mathcad 15 installed and running.  When I went to convert a MC15 file using Prime 7 the XCMD function is greyed out on Prime 7 but not Prime 8. Since once a file is converted with Prime 8 it will not open with Prime 7.  Some collegues use Prime 7, how can I produce a Prime 7 conversion file?

I have 8 physical address NIC cards on my laptop. I have a mathcad license tied to one of the NIC cards, but when I move locations (ie from work location to home), Mathcad selects a different NIC card as the primary and won't license properly.

I have a PC running Mathcad Prime 4 and Mathcad 15.  Would it be possible to move Mathcad 15 to a separate PC or are the licenses tied together? The item on the invoice is:  MCD-7502-P  Mathcad Professional - Individual    And under the shipping details, it only mentions Prime 4. Thanks in advance

Is it possible to change a Prime7.0 license to a new employee?   We are not seeing where that can be done.  Tried requesting a new license file, but webpage indicated, " invalid parameter values have been passed in.  The application cannot continue".  Not sure if we can't get this to work because:1) Since the employee left, Prime is now up to version 8.0, which is what we downloaded on new employee's computer.  Prime7 purchased product ID perhaps doesn't work with Prime8?2) Can't request new license files if the licensing is tied a particular person's name. We were able to dig up the 'host ID' on the new employee's computer - so we have correct Host ID, and Product ID, but can't get a new license file. Find it interesting that the only way to contact PTC for support help is to use login information, but we don't have login information as that employee is gone.  I tried to use my login information, but I'm not the user with the problem. 

I am using Mathcad Prime Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.0.0Mathcad Prime 7.0 can show results in scientific notation, but if exponent is zero, the exponent is skipped.Is it possible to display always the exponent as Mathcad 15 can?

HelloI use MathCad Prime 7.0, to a lot of symbolic solutions, but many times it comes out in a long solution that could be reduced, but simplify can not do it. What should I use to make it shorter/reduced. 

Hello everyone,I am trying to automatize a calculation process in Mathcad, but I am having some difficulties doing it.Lets say I have a matrix with “n x m” number of rows and columns.In this example we can have the following matrix (5 x 6 – but it can be different, ex: 10 x 15, 9 x 10 etc...):Note that Ni is each row of the matrix.There is a variable “var” that can be equal to 1, 2, 3 or 4.And finally we have vector “V” (that has always 1 single column, but number of rows depends on the variable “var” however this vector is an input, the values below are just an example):I want to obtain the following matrix “M” depending on the variable “var”:- If var = 1 (“V” vector will have just 1 row – F1 = 10)- If var = 2 (“V” vector will have 2 rows – F1 = 10 / F2 = 1)- If var = 3 (“V” vector will have 3 rows – F1 = 10 / F2 = 1 / F3 = 4) - Finally if var = 4 (“V” vector will have 4 rows – F1 = 10 / F2 = 1 / F3= 4 / F = 7)Any suggestions? Thank you so much for your help, Miguel

MathCAD Prime 8.0 error

I am a new user of Mathcad Prime 8 and have created a collapsible area for constants/units etc. However I realise that while I expand the area, the content below the area is shifted downward, when I collapse it, it remains permanently shifted, creating an empty space the same size as the height of the collapsed area. So I have to manually remove the empty space. I am missing something or is this a bug? I do remember Mathcad 15 didn't have this issue?
