Mathcad

Hi I am student and some of my files are corrupted.I have 2 mcdx files where there is an error with precision in some calculations.when the files where saved, a critical error had occurred setting precision to "" (ergo nothing) I remember ignoring it and thinking nothing of it.I have tried a fix where you turn the files into .zip and alter the worksheet file manually, but when I try to open it after I have repacked it and changed it back to mcdx, it just doesn't open. if anyone has a fix, that be awesomethanks in advance. regards Karsten

Here is a selection of functions for dates, calendars, and times. Also included is a calendar component that allows a date to be selected by the user. The scripted components were all written by me, but the additional functions at the end of the worksheet were not. In fact, I don't know who did write some of them, but if the author of those functions, or someone who knows who the author is, reads this then please let me know who did write them so I can credit them correctly.Jun 09 2015: Added a worksheet for Mathcad Prime. This includes only the limited set of functions not based on scripted components.

I'm trying to solve this system of equations symbolically (ie I want the constants Ci to be in terms of all the symbols. My professor used Mathcad 15 which seems to work differently. As seen in the picture below. Can this be done on mathcad 7?

Hello guys,I am new to Mathcad, learning and calculating my masters thesis and recently came to a problem.There are some formulas in my work (timber structural engineering), which were evaluated by an experiment and units in formula - result are not the same.My question is, if I can supress Mathcad base unit system and force to calculate just with numbers as on calculator?Here is a screenshot with my problem, I understand the program does not know what to do with the exponent of "d", just would like to know, if there is a way to go around this.I tried to add constants to the formula to make the wierd 1/m^(13/10) disappear, but with no result.Could someone give me a hint? Thank you for helpBest regardsStepan Mudrak   

Do you know that trig functions have color QR codes - see picture and Mathcad files - 15 and Prime.

Is there a way to set up an auto save of the Prime 7 file while working on it, to prevent loss of work  in the event of a system computer problem.  This would aid in not having to re-create lost work.

HiI have attached 2 x CSV files and Mathcad Prime. I have isues on Page 5 of 9 calculation mean and SDThanks.

Which operator can I use in the equations for D, E, and F that can evaluate them the same way, except more efficient than how I have it shown (i.e. takes up less space on the page than both Methods)? (Yes, it took a long time to type them out. No, I'm not proud of my work 😅).I know I can simply define A, B, and C with more elements like I've shown in Method 2 to make D and E cleaner. But that still leaves the same expression for F in both Methods. The order of the elements in matrices D, E, or F isn't important for my application of this (it's for wind loading on roof parapets).Thank you in advance, and my apologies if this question has already been asked, or if it's excessively elementary! My grasp of matrices/vectors has always been poor, so I didn't even know what to search for. I tried a few key words, but alas, here we are.I'm using Prime 7.0 if that's important.

Dear colleagues! Please help me with the difficulties I am having trying to repeat a very important example step by step.I tried to do as much as possible myself.Nevertheless, a number of questions turned out to be impossible for me to handle.Since, apart from the context and previous calculations, the essence of the questions will not be clear, I am attaching the original MathCAD file, the PDF example file, as well as a .xls file for the calculations.All questions are highlighted in red in the MathCAD file with references to the example’s pages.I will be extremely grateful to everyone for any comments/advice/hints. P.S. hi, I've forgotten how to work with data in classic mathcad. I have the questions in the file attached along with the data file. These are the three questions, for the sake of the post: 1) how to get x,y data into a function2) how to assign units to the data3) how to curve fit the data The questions would apply to any x,y data set. Can i somehow round my answers with 15 units rounding rule with mathcad prime 7?What functions i have to use to do that if its able to do?

How to update the date whenever the worksheet is opened? It should update the date as per current date. Is there any simple method to that. Can it be linked with excel without manually updating in excel sheet?  Cheers,Frank

Hi, I'm trying to solve some ODE equations system to determine behavior of species, temperature and pressure for a plug flow reactor. I already put all equations, relations between all terms and also the initial conditions, but on odesolve block i receive a message that says: "Too few initial conditions". Thanks in advance for your help.

Many years ago, I recall needing to install some SW (VB commondialogs or such?) in order to have real time active controls, e.g. scrollbars, function correctly in MCD11. If I documented this process, it appears to have been in write-only memory. I wasn't able to find the ancient references by searching here either. Anyone remember what needed to be installed, and the process? I seem to remember that RichardJ was a key resource at that time.Thanks,Lou
