Mathcad

Hello Everyone,The data for cornea topography is loaded in the worksheet attached. The contour plot is generated using the 2-D interpolation algorithm. However, when compared to the topography system's original performance, the plot has a very low resolution. How can I get a plot that looks like the system output?  I was also curious about how the data could be transferred and plotted in polar coordinates because I was having trouble mapping f(x,y) to f(r, theta) coordinates.   Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I just started to use Mathcad... I was try to find the sqrt of a value in N/mm^2 and my end result was given in units (Kg^1/2) /(m^1/2)s... I do not understand why it is happening... Can anyone help me out... 

Hello,Is it possible to do somehow the simplifications described below in Mathcad 11?     (The expression of Gc(s) is not quite visible in the image because it is a rather long-expression.Look in the Mathcad 11 file to get a better look at Gc(s)'s expression.)Can the expression of Gc(s) be further somehow simplified? that is, instead of pi to be 3,141 (or how close Mathcad is to pi or how Mathcad approximate the value of pi), and possibly other calculations to be reduced (to do the multiplication, division operations) so that the expression, if possible, is simplified. In the attached plot i have power dissipation on y -axis and  time  on x-axis. My objective to integrate the waveform(on y axis- Area under curve) and then divide by time(x-axis: Time taken for covered area ) to get the average power dissipation. I am trying get an integral plot similar to the one  we get in the math waveform (integral function) in oscilloscope. Hi there, fellow users in MathCad. I'm totally a beginner in MathCad. I don't know why Mathcad said the variable is undefined when I try to solve the integral function.  When I put my task's value which are a=-2 and b=4 the integral function said it's value is undefined. Where did I do wrong? There appears to be an issue with the combo box with regard to exponents. 1. When inside the box the Exponentiation (Xn) is greyed out and I have to type it by hand (^) when entering values. This however puts the box on red alert and it either refuses to work or crashes. 2. It also looks weird as if something's wrong. Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong? Attached is a Prime 7 file.

Hello,   I would like to solve the differential equation in the document. However, Mathcad can only calculate the values if I use a positive factor. In Python the values are calculated without any problems. What am I doing wrong? The problem exists in Mathcad 15, as well as in Prime 6.0. Thank you very much for any hints. Best regards Paul

Hello all,   I have datapoints, expressed in a x-vector and a y-vector.   Just by plotting x and y the points are already pretty smooth. The gradient between the first x-points is very big, so I would like to smooth the curve even more. How do I do it the best way? Interpolation between points is the answer, but how to I do it in mathcad?    I attached a mathcad prime 3.0 sheet where I try to do some tests, but without success so far.     The graph in the screenshot is already pretty accurate, but thats because I have enough datapoints.   In a worst case, where I cannot obtain enough datapoints, I would need some kind of interpolation...       The optimum would be even to reconstruct a function out datapoints. Is this possible? I could do further analysis by having a function f(x)   The datapoints were obtained from this graph for thermal resistance over a copper area:       Best regards!

Need to re-install Mathcad 15 after a reset of my machine, and I already have a license. But I do not have a customer number nor sale number .

Versta = 500 Sagen (сажень), Sagen = 7 feets. The problem. The workers marked this racetrack like that. They took a rope and tied it with both ends to two pegs driven into the ground and spaced one versta (see above) from each other. Then they pulled this rope and drew an ellipse. How long was this rope? What is the canonic formula of this ellipse?Who will give the best solution? 

Have any of you guys got a good solution for being able to distinguish psig and psia in a worksheet? I would like to be able to define the local atmosphere in the sheet and then work with either the gauge or absolute pressures in the sheet. Seems like this should be simple but an elegant solution is eluding me.  Thanks!

There is no placeholder for units in chart component The old plot had unit place holder for scaling the graph units This seems to be missing in MP 7   Also using the chart component in the input area they are not automatically Assigned units to x and y expression I cannot see Corresponding base units displayed which makes it even more difficult  What is the solution for this??

I have received and installed a license file for Mathcad 14 (new 1Tb SSD), but when I try to run the program I get an error message (Invalid Host). It gives the host id as 74F3:0E53 which is incorrect.I originally, mistakenly, gave this as the volume name for my c: drive. The correct volume name is 74FE:0E53 (FE instead of F3). I then went through the license request again with the correct volume name I got a second license file. When I installed this one I still get the same error message (Invalid Host) with the same host id (74F3:0E53 instead of 74FE:0E53). Can you help?Thanks,Kurt Tatektate49@hotmail.com

We are attempting to do a trial period of MathCAD prime on a user machine, but no matter what we try the trial license does not activate. When we go to Options it states the "cannot activate an uncounted licenses." Please assist.

I dont need all the worksheets in the expensive Vol.1 Worksheets, I just want to see the Custom functions such as matrices to c-code. Are  any of these free anywhere or can the custom functions package be purchased separately?
