Good day to all users! During creating of the calculation in mathcad 15 I faced a error in cycle -"array index is invalid for this array". You can see this at the end of file. I have correct cycle without array, but i can't do it with array. The number of this array elements is small - 146. What is the error of this calculation?   thanks in advance!

Hi,   I have X & Y defined as two matrix variables, which I can do a linear interpolation between them...   How can I perform the same interpolation if I have X & Y in a combined matrix, ?I am attaching the Mathcad file

Hi, Is there anyway to plot a line in 3D graph tool? It seems like intrpolation doesn't work in 3D if all the points lie in a line. A patchy solution is to plot in a scatter point, but it indeed looks ugly. I would really appriciate if someone has any clever solution. I am having a license request failure when trying to get a 30 days free trial for PTC Mathcad Prime 7.0.0.0

I have programmed a loop calculation to obtain the minimum value of the (Pf) variable. This variable is a function of three independent parameters (i, k, and θ). To do these things I have issues as attached. Your help is deeply appreciated. Thank you.

I have one desktop station and one surface pro, that I'm using. The surface pro is my 'home' user and the desktop station is my main computer. On my workstation (desktop) I have prime 6.0.0.0 with one year licence type for single user. I upgraded the software from 6 to 7.0.0.0 and wanted to use the licence on it. In the weekend I used my Surface Pro to work on one of the files. This is Mathcad 7.0.0.0. When I was back on the office and wanted to open the file on workstation which is Mathcad 6.0.0.0, the file was not able to open. I installed Mathcad 7.0.0.0, but did not get the licence or resaved licence to work on my workstation. It is going to the Express. Why is it not possible to have a licence that I (one person) could use on two different computer one licence at the time. We are in 2021 where big workstation and small tablets are possible to use. I do not take with me the workstation if it is not highly needed. On the go, I prefer the tablet (Surface Pro 3).Kind regardsOve

Hi MathCAD community!  I am working with a customer that has not been able to open an existing file which is stored on his server, as it will only open in READ ONLY format.  So, he has been copying the file to his local machine doing my work, saving locally, then copying the file from his local machine back to his server.    Any ideas?   Thank you all!

Hello,   "odesolve" works with A*y''(t) + B*y'(t) + 3*y(t) / (y(t)² + 1) = 0 but it doesn't work with the substitution termC(y(t)) = 3*y(t) / (y(t)² + 1)A*y''(t) + B*y'(t) + C(y(t)) = 0 I tried in several ways to define C, e.g.  C:= 3*y(t) / (y(t)² + 1); C(t, y) = 3*y(t) / (y(t)² + 1) ... etc, but in vain!I am attaching my file to this post and would appreciate your help very much !  Thank you in advance, Peter

I can't to install mathcad. The installer always ask to see file log, but there is not a file log showing a problem. Can someone help me?

I am a recent user of Mathcad and now in the learning phase. I have never seen any community being run by a handful of people. I searched, and searched a lot on different topics in Mathcad and always find satisfying answers. Apart from this, I realize that the answer was always by one of these angelic personalities. I have visited, posted in different communities but I would say that this community is above all. It has a very excellent response time. It feels these are "just post your question I can't wait more!" type people in this community always welcoming to solve the miseries of people. The second best thing is that you people are like the real guru of Mathcad. Never seen a reply "I don't understand" so far. That's amazing!   I have just one request. Prime 7 has automatic calculation like Real Mathcad? If not, why?

Hello Guys!   I want to analyse my circuit, using laplace transformation.   Step 1) First I have to generate a triangle waveform. I have all informations given like peak-value, duty cycles, frequency, and so on. I could obtain a triangle waveform by defining sections with the if-equation, according to the post from Werner: https://community.ptc.com/t5/PTC-Mathcad/Plots-for-Conditional-Function/td-p/124048   My first idea was to multiply a sawtooth function with a rect function, but nevermind. I keep the solution from Werner I guess if the following Step 2) will work...   Another approach would be a fourier row to obtain the triangle shape. Maybe you have some older work / examples here for me?   Step 2-4) I want to make a Laplace Transformation from the triangle waveform, means: i(t) -> I(s)   --> is it posible with my function from Step 1) to do a laplace transformation, or do I have to go the approach with fourier rows?   (Step 3) Vout(s)=I(s)

I have an excel file that contains material property data.  I have several sheets in the file; Aluminum, Titanium, Steel etc.   Each sheet contains data for several alloys, one for each row.   In Mathcad Prime 7, I would like to be able to select a material of choice.  I thought of having a combi box that selected what type (Aluminum, Steel etc), then a 2nd combi box that would show a list of materials based on the type and allow the user to select the material from that list.  Once the user selects, I would like to load the material property data for that specific material.  It is important that once the Mathcad file is saved and closed that it retains the selections that were in the combi box.   Is this possible?  Maybe there is a better way...
