How to generate random values in Mathcad exactly like randn function generates in matlab?

Have student license and Mathcad won't install other than the trial version. Help please. Thanks.

Hi!In the attached folder there is everything you are looking for Fourier series, and much more; The main worksheet is "Waveforms' Spectra" which takes, maybe, half an hour to analyze and graph about forty signals. But there is also a second one apart, which produces the graphs of some signals. The operation is not immediate because first of all you have to adapt the references of the single worksheets to the folder where the files are copied, it doesn't take much time. Regarding the references, see the example in the following photo:

Hi all,  I am trying to find out the Fourier series of a half rectified sinusoidal wave for up to six terms. Amplitude= V volts and period of 2pi.  For B(n) the first term should be 0.5 then 0 afterwards. However, Mathcad is giving a very small number 10^-17 but not zero. Why is this ? Second problem: When I try to integrate sin(t)*sin(nt), Mathcad should use the orthogonal trig identity to convert it into sin(1-n)t+sin(1-n)t or something along those lines. If this is not done Mathcad can't compute when n=1 because in B(n) it has n^2-1 in the denominator. This is a small problem that I can live with but the one above is a bigger one.

I tried to download the MathCAD Prime version but am unable to get it as an application/option in my installation assistant.

i dont't know how to solve an equation with constant like 'A' or 'B'   for example: x+B=A solve, x   it is available in MATHCAD 15, but not in Prime how can i realize this function?

I have had problems that occur directly after installation. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game several times for it to work and it hasn't. Whenever I attempt to use it, the first window, the one that just says PTC Mathcad, appears and then disappears. That's all that happens, however. No Cad document, nothing. I am at a loss for what I should do.

I'm working with one of my professors on Mathcad to use curve fits in checking values gathered from another program. Defining unitless (but not really) temperature and pressure, I'm running into an issue where a variable in a loop I'm using is undefined. I'm feeding a pressure variable into a base 10 log function, but with no success as it complains it is undefined. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi All    We've been doing multi-element box-whisker/histogram/error-bar plots for a while in coursework and in the past it's worked well.  Recently we are no longer able to replicate the plots.   An image of a working plot is here Alas, they now look like this (note the Box of the combined histogram boxplot has collapsed to a single line (or likely one where the width of the box is simply too small to see.   This happens on multiple machines and neither I nor my students can being back the old [preferred] way.  This was working in September of 2020 (for people joining late it is now February 2021)   Ideas?   Bill Capehart SD School of Mines.

I was looking at the list of groups members have created. I noticed there wasn't one dedicated to Mathcad users. Or even one that teetered on the subject. I am new to mathcad prime and unable to evaluate solve block result not sure what is wrong 

so i have two vectors.  One is a time stamp  the second is y axis data.    so for each time stamp there is a corresponding data point   I need to plot this scatterplot somehow and then find a line of best fit.    Then i need to take the integral of it.  I have tried to use the regress function and the interp function without luck. All i get are errors.  I cant find a good example online.  The is just a simple 2d plot. Good old X and Y Can someone help me with an example.  I dont understand all the parameters that regress and interp are expecting.  When i try to plot it just gives me an error. i cant post my sheet because of IP
