Hi, I asked for the activation key, you sended the email, i saved the received file ''sw_license_email_4839011.dat" trough Options in mathcad I correctly point to the license file, but when i push the botton "'Applica"' In the upper message windws I get the message : 23/09/2020 10:50:31 : Richiesta di licenza non riuscita. Requesting MATHCAD ... C:\Users\marco\Downloads\Mathcad\sw_license_email_4839089.dat: (-9) Invalid host. And I'm not able to activate the license on my new machine. Could you please help me? Hi All, I'm just starting out using Mathcad Prime 6.0, and I'm trying to solve a very simple equation for the drag force on our machine when submerged in a flowing river. I am using the USCS Unit system, and I believe my confusion centers around English units of mass (slug) and how to keep units consistent.    Example 1: I use 1.94 slug/ft^3 for the density of water. This gives me output units of lbf, which are correct, but they are off by a factor of gravity - 30.046 lbf should be a little over 961 lbf. Example 2: I use 62.4 lbf/ft^3 for the specific weight of water. Now numerically I'm correct but the units have the extra factor of "ft/s^2". I'm hoping someone might be able to help me obtain the both the correct numeric value of 966.42, with units of lbf. Thank You for Your Consideration, Mitch

Hello, I am trying to install Mathcad 15.0. I saw in another thread that if I purchase Mathcad Prime, I would have access to Mathcad 15.0 as well, so I purchased the PTC Mathcad Prime 6.0 Subscription. I have now installed Mathcad 15.0, and it is asking me for a license file. How can I acquire such a file?

Hi   How can you minimize this kind of error: The symbolic result returned is too large to display, but it can be used in subsequent calculation if assigned to a function or variable   I looked at the knowledge base questions and there are a lot of this kind of issue reported unfortunately they are quite hard for me to follow.   I see this error because the limitation of my computer or limitation of Mathcad Prime 6.0? Can you provide and example of how to assign to a function or variable? Below is what I am trying to do and it seems to work for T(s) and Z(s) but does not work for T0(s) and Z0(s) after I increase the complexity of T(s) a little more

I have a perpetual license for Mathcad prime 3.1 student edition and I have a new computer so I need to download the software again. This is the second time i'm trying this, the first time I got an email with a link but it didn't solve my problem.

Regarding Mathconnex, Does JRE 8 Update 181 required for this software?  

Hello!   Is there a way to find an intersection point on a graph between 1) 2 lines  and  2) between a line and a marker? NOTE: We can do this by setting up equations of the lines and thus find & plot the point. I just want to know if there is an alternative in Mathcad.  Best regards, Sergey

Hello! I want to plot a total deformation diagram such that it is a sum of two deformations caused by two different forces.  While plotting I get the following error message: There are too many range variables. I think that it is strange since I use three sets of traces, where each trace set corresponds to one deformation only. May somebody, please, assist me with the proper construction of described diagram?   Best regards, Sergey

Hi, I'm using the Mathcad Prime 4.0 free version. The programm was working perfectly fine, but now when I try to run the program it doesn't work anymore. The mathcad logo appears, but then it disappears again and a main window never shows up.   Then if I check the Task Manager, I can see that the program is running in the background.   I already tried to reinstall mathcad but it also doesn't work.  

Hi all, I must preface this by saying that I am brand-new to MathCAD and know not much. I tried a few different things to tackle this issue myself. However, it seems like I need a new perspective. The bold portion is the rough program. I have  n=0,1,... t(n) := t(n-1)+c   while t(n)<6*R         F(n)=F(n-1)+....[other system parameters that don't involve 'n'] 'c' is a constant and not a matter of worry. 'n' will keep incrementing until t(n)=11*R [R is another constant, but will be changed according to the system parameters. So, R=1 in one case and R=300 in other cases; user-defined] I am not sure how to define 'n' and t(n). They are interdependent and the few things I tried have been unsuccessful so far. The cockroach needs to run from start (from different positions of the start line) to finish-line in minimum time.On the field of running there is a section in the form of a circle (see Fig.), where the running speeddiffers by V1> V2 or V1 <V2.Which route (trace) from the start line to the finish line should the cockroach use from different positions? Better to get numerical, symbolical and plot solution (with animation!).  

Hi,Does anybody know how to save a Mathcad sheet in PDF form? Using Save As.., in Prime 2 I only see the file type xps and in Version 15 I see html but no pdf anywhere. Thanks for any hint.Alfred

Please help. I am not sure why it is complaining about the units. Both numerator and denominator are in Ohms zd1(s) ---> Ohms (numerator) s*L1 ---> Ohms (denominator)

Hi folks,   I'm trying to define custom units in Mathcad Prime 6.0, but for some reason I don't seem to be able to. I define the unit as a variable and then try to change the label to "Unit", but Mathcad doesn't keep the change.    I used to do this in previous versions within a nanosecond, now it doesn't seem to be working, so I'm wondering if this is a bug in the software or I'm missing something...   Anyway, just putting it out there to see if anyone has faced this issue with Prime 6.0.   Thank you!   J.
