I saw other solutions but they are not helpful in my situation. Anyone have idea how to convert my result? I need -0.29999999999973 show in fractional form.I checked settings, other forums but didnt find any solution. It works really strange, I have latest version of Mathcad Prime 6.0
I have a set of 3 differential equations which I solve with ODE. However I would like to add a constaint to c.MOAQ, which value needs to be below 0.001. How can I implement this into the ODE block?
Dear people, I've learned a lot from other people's faults from this forum in the past, but now I can't fix my problem on my own so I'm asking a question myself this time. Its about the Find function, which has worked for me before, but not in this instance. Now I think it has something to do with the complexity of the equation I'm trying to solve but I'm not sure. Maybe somebody can have a look at my file and tell me what I'm doing wrong. Its about the A.var value which I cannot solve. Cheers,
I am getting error as 'All evaluations resulted in either an error or a complex result.

Pivotisation of a matrix - I try to change an existing file that works with another scheme Hello, I have a Mathcad file that do the pivotisation of a matrix but I dont like it because is too indirect and obscure. I want to implement another scheme that is more explicit and easily understanding but does not works by now. I attached my working file that also contains the scheme that i try to implement.
Hi there,I'am a new user on Mathcad software and i'am getting stuck on a very simple problem, which i can solve manually, but i want to practise a bit with Mathcad. My problem is the following, i got two symbolic functions called C1 and C2 in my worksheet, which i want to be equal to zero (each of them). My two variables are Ti and Tn. When i tried to solved those equation i got an undefined solution. Thanks to tell me where i'am wrong.Sébastien

Dear All Could you help me please ? How to write this equation in Mathcad Prime ?
I am looking to make some symbolic equations then place them inside a matrix and solve current node mesh for the answer to circuit equation. I am looking for advice on how to do this or the advice that such an endeavor is impractical. My next goal is to find a PTC defined function to extract the coeffecient for the equations for Voltage and the unknown currents (I.1 I.2 I.3 I.4 I.5). So right as now i am looking to sort the result and THEN Store the results.
Hi all,I am getting error as this value as unit:current^2 but must have units :unitless. Can anyone help me how to overcome this error.I attached my code below. Thanks in advance
I am attempting to write my first For Loop. I have a vector of values, i=0 to 10. x0 = 0.05. x1 = x0/2. x2 = x1/2, etc. I cannot seem to find any way of doing this. I have tried this, below, but it doesn't work. Please help!

Hi, I want to solve numericly this equation. can anyone help me ? I am new with MathCad. Also, is it possible to break the equation to make it in two lines ? Right after the =0 would be the best. The CtrlShiftEnter does not work at this place. Thank you

So, I was trying to solve a simple matrix in Mathcad and it gave me error saying that my unit isn't compatible. Could you please advice me which part of my matrix that gave me this error? Thank you very much!
PRIME 6 Weird bug. I want to create a new matrix where the new second column is a list of integers giving the row index, If the original vector of values contains units then the second column is always set to 1. if i non-dimensionalize i get the expected result but it is of no use as i have lost the units.
Hi, I recently upgraded from Mathcad v15 to Mathcad Prime 6.0 (work related, not by choice). I have converted my old v15 files to Prime using the tool, but it resulted in a bunch of differences (see attached Conversion Log image). Most seemed minor editorial but there were a bunch of unsupported calculations which after reviewing seem to be limited to components no supported by Prime: Combo Boxes and Radio Buttons (See attached example image from my v15 file). From searching online and on this forum I have learned that Prime decided not to implement these useful functions for some unknown silly reason. So what I am hoping to find here is anybody who can help me with some replacement options that do exist in Prime that can provide the same functionality.
Introductory basic topics presented through solved example problems.Covering areas of:1. Particle nature of quantum mechanics.2. Atoms and the Bohr model.3. Wave nature.4. Wave packets and the Uncertainty Principle. The content here will assist in the studies of solar engineering physics and PV power plants at the undergraduate level. Primarily intended for engineering, science and technology students. This may also provide a refresher for practising engineers and technologist in power generation. These set of four chapters may be considered for course material, at undergraduate level year two. The next topic would be in the area of Schrodinger Equations which requires more time and effort to complete, mostly theory and mathematics, after which other topics need to be studied before arriving to their problem solving. Hence, this is why these four chapters were made a set.A set of solved example problems from chapters 2, 3, 4, and 5 of the book titled ‘Quantum Mechanics A Textbook for Und
This is a mix of notes and solved problems. Style: Rough Draft. Purpose of these notes are to perform guided exercises to gain skills in electrical circuit analysis, with the specific intent to cover prerequisites leading to Laplace Transforms for electric circuit analysis. There will be errors and omissions, I am NOT a subject matter expert. You probably can catch them and improve on the solution and explanation.Textbooks on circuit analysis these days don't come under 800 pages. Surely no less than 500 pages. These for a 2 semester course or more. This is not the objective to cover page after page of knowledge. ------------------------- Continuing from Part 1, this is Part 1-B.Topics here include:1. Sinusoidal functions (Damped sinusoid included)2. Average and RMS (Effective) values3. Unit Step function4. Unit Impulse/Delta function5. Exponential function6. I'd like to implement some form of decibels in Mathcad. I've found a few nice references:Mathcad Example Using Decibels | Math Encounters Bloghttps://books.google.com/books?id=DfVVkGnzIJAC&printsec=frontcover#v=onepage&q=inverse%20function&f=falseIn both of these examples they are creating a forward function dB(x), which works just fine, but also an "inverse function" /dB(x). No matter how I try I cannot get Mathcad Prime to create something that looks like that inverse function. (The CTRL+SHIFT+K approach recommended in the second link doesn't work in Prime.) The closest I've gotten is when I got the Mathcad error message "Unknown error: no_inverse_declared."Is there any way to create an "inverse function" in Prime?
Hi everyone, In my reactor design with Mathcad, I am getting an error in "tend" part of the design which says "divide by zero" when I click on "tend" and therefore I am not able to see the changes in temperature and conversions with the changes in volume. Although I checked several times to see whether there is any zero value in the denominators or not, I couldn't find any. I would be super happy if you can help me with it. You can find the file and the photos attached in the mail. Thank you for taking your time. Selim
Hello, I have no idea why this isn't working. It says "can't evaluate to boolean". Could you help me please? I'm really stuck.
Hello, I'm trying to recreate a student's work presented in a paper and I just can't seem to get it to work. I've gone through as many of the posts here on this issue as I can but don't see many of the common errors (incorrect equal sign etc). Occasionally i'll see a stray typo and fix it, but I think may have been staring at this too long to see what's wrong with it. Error message is "Too few initial conditions". Mathcad doesn't seem very flexible in trying to track down erros like this. I really appreciate your time and assistance, - T
