Hello. Is it possible to solve these 10 equations with 10 unknowns as shown in the .mcdx file ?

Dear Mathcad users,   I would like to have a more detailed description of the math behind the functions. For example today I was looking into the cross correlation functions crosscorr(S, K, [BC], [OV]). I would like to see the expressions that are used to calculate the results. Is there any place I can find this?   regards, Joop

  Hi, I got some problems with my installation of MathCad Prime 3.1. After downloading MathCad Prime 3.1 and activating the requested license I started the application. But if I click on it the splash screen will be only displayed for a short time. First I thought that the application didn't even start but I found out that the MathCadPrime.exe is still listed in the task manager.  I tried to uninstall and resinstall MathCad certain times but I couldn't fix the problem. I don't know what to do anymore I am very desperated.   Thanks in advance!

Hi all, I am attempting to extract a vector element piecewise within a while loop and assign it to the while evaluation variable for test.  I am able t do this once before I enter the loop but I cannot do this once in the loop and I get the "Array index is invalid message".  Is there a way to conveniently extract the element and assign it to the evaluation variable?  I am not a strong coder, clearly, I do not understand something. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi!I tried to install MathCad by using Wine (through Homebrew). I have successfully opened the .exe file and went half way through the installation process. When I come to the point of downloading MathCad and microsoft .NET framework setup files, the programme freezes. I re-tried it multiple times, always freezes just with different percentage of downloaded files. What can I do? Is there any other way how to get to the MathCad on mac? 

I bought MathCAD 3.0 and was trying to install it on Windows 10. I was able to get through the first two steps of the installation process before the installer terminated during the the third stage. Does anyone else have this problem?

Is there any way to numerically evaluate delay differential equations with Mathcad?

In the attached image of a mathcad prime 3.1 worksheet I'm attempting to call the function in a solve block and from another function. I receive the error: "This is not a valid constraint, Use, for example, the equal to operator."   Am I making a syntax error that I'm not aware of?

Hi, I was trying to stack all the x coordinates together and all y coordinates together. I see an additional value (0,0) in the result w and v. Can you please tell me why is the additional rows generated and how to eliminate it. And i am using mathcad 15 Thank You.

hi, how to compare the results with the allowable stress? If the result is less than allowable stress,the stress is acceptable or else not acceptable.  Thank you

Hi, This is regrading computation difficulty, There are three variables which are matrices consisting of ten values each, To find out the resultant current all the combination of values ( three variables) must be considered and using resultant matrix we can plot the graph. example: For each value of Ubat combination of RX and RY must be considered. Hi all,   I am brushing off cobwebs after not using Mathcad since last spring and I can't figure out why what I've got isn't working.   I've attached my sheet; basically, I'm trying to use the finite element method to find a stiffness matrix over a length L, where the area is changing from 0 < x < L/4. I need to make a 3x3 matrix involving an area equation (which I've called A1 in my sheet), shape functions (psi), and the material stiffness E (which would just be a variable carried through until the end).   I've read through a couple of other forums and I haven't been able to apply any of this to my particular problem (whatever it is).   Is there something I'm overlooking?

Hi all! Is it just me or do you experience the same bug. I am using the current Mathcad 15 M050 and have just noticed that filterNaN and matchNaN do not work anymore! The error message is something about "The type initializer for Efi.Data caused an exception". I am pretty sure that I had used filterNaN with this version of Mathcad without any problems. Can it have something to do with the fact that I recently installed Prime 6? Or is one of the recent Win10 updates the cause? Here in the forum I just found this https://community.ptc.com/t5/PTC-Mathcad/New-bugs-in-Mathcad-15-M020/m-p/380775 where somebody reported that the error occurred immediately after the installation of Mathcad.    

Hello! My name is Ivan and I often use Mathcad 15 at my university. I've been working on some task recently which involved symbolical calculations in Mathcad. I faced a problem that one of the integrals just won't solve. I used Mathcad for over a year now and i have no clue how to fix this. Can someone tell me what's wrong? Thank you in advance!

I don't know how many are aware of this, so I'm posting some important information.   Starting January 1st next year (2018) PTC will make it's products available by subscription only. https://www.ptc.com/en/news/2017/ptc-accelerates-subscription-business-model Basically, legal ransomware. If you don't keep paying them, you will be denied access to your own IP.   My understanding is that this new scheme will apply to all PTC products, other than one obscure product, so that includes Mathcad. I believe that existing perpetual licenses will continue to be perpetual (hard to see how it could be anything else, since that's how they were sold), but going foward you will either have to pay every year, or lose access to your own work.

Hi, Our issue is that some of our Mathcad Prime sheets stops being able to calculate – especially when we are using the program for calculating Fourierseries/-integrals. The documents work just fine when we enter the calculations at first, but when closed and reopened it does not work anymore. We have tried different settings in the “calculate” menu, but we haven’t been able to fix the problem. I have linked to a document, that won’t calculate anymore.Thank you in advantage.  

In MathCad 15, we were able to create styles for Headings, Titles, Subtitles, etc.  (dialog box at Format | Style...)  This was very handy to change the format of all the Headings at one time from one style to another.Is this same functionality possible in Prime 6?  As far as I can tell, I would have to individually find and select each Heading in the document and change its format.  This will become very tedious in large documents.
