Apologies for potentially posting this in the incorrect area but it is difficult to navigate this site. This is simply a question to see if anyone can confirm whether Mathcad 14 is compatible with the latest Network Licence manager (v11.16.2)? Thanks in advance.
I have a piecewise non-period behavior that I'm trying to express by using two intervals but all I get is a blue dot for the second trace if the spacing its space is defined to be other than the default value of "1". Do I have to use logic statements to graph piecewise if I don't want a spacing of "1" between points to graph on my blue trace? It seems I'm strictly limited to the array in purple for subsequent plot lines after the first? I guess that's O.K. for plots with a magnitudinous domain but I only want to plot up to "1" so it is a bit inconvenient. Thanks in advance for your guidance...
Hi, I don't find the option "delete message" . I wish to cancel my previous trial message.
Hi Pro/ENGINEER users!Can you desidn this clockhttp://communities.ptc.com/message/151481with Pro/E help!?Regards,Valery
Hello, I need urgent help in errors in this file ( Mathcad Prime 4 ). The file is attached here. Thank you in advance. Regards
Hi I'm trying to do an integral of a function The lowercase sigma1 is the exact solution and its giving me an error The uppercase sigma is the simpsons rule approximate solution giving me an error. Could you please assist? Thanks Prashanth Rajendran

so im still working on this beam template and i keep bumping my head against the wall, now im trying to include those c.1 c.2 c.3 c.4 (that you guys helped me find. 🙂 ) in my final function
I would like to buy mathcad 15, but cannot find it in ptc store. I've read that buying mathcad prime gives you mathcad 15 license as well. Is it true and will it work? I'd like to buy a student license.
i have these 4 nice equations with 4 variables c.1 , c.2 ,c.3 ,c.4 im trying to set up a nice beam deflection algebra template. but i cant find any way to solve it, tryed with matrix and solve block no lock any ideas ? :). - Dennis
I have got the solution for the V function, but I cannot have got the solution for the V2 function! Help please! The Mathcad Prime 5 sheet in attach! The problem. We take a round workpiece and cut a sector out of it.We then fold the cone from the workpiece. The question is what is value of the cutting angle at which the volume of the cone will be maximum. I solved the problem with one cone analytically, but I cannot solve it analytically for two cones!
Hi, can someone help me, I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong in this. The error I get is that the value must be a scalar.
Hello all! Im new to MathCAD and Im trying to use the root function to solve a series of functions, but I keep getting an error which says "This function cannot be used here" in the root expression. Anyone got any clue? Can anyone check my spreadsheet? Its on the last page, thank you
Z:= (something ) = 8.9 ~ 9 Can i have an approximation sign after this equation and i also want to insert the approx value , in this case i want to put 9 and i also want in future equations when I use Z to pick the approx value . Is there i way i can do that?
Thanks to all!I hope I have solved this problem (6 parameters - 4 equations)https://community.ptc.com/t5/PTC-Mathcad/Minimize-6-variables-and-4-equations/m-p/606542 6 parameters - 6 equations: all OK! 6 parameters - 4 equations: not all OK! 9 parameters - 5 equations: not all OK 😞
Guess this is a bug in Mathcads symbolics or am I missing something?
I am fairly new to Mathcad and I have been trying to type in the equation in the attached file and have the tool solve for the variable L symbolically. However, I had some trouble typing in the equation itself because I could not get rid of the ? mark after the equal sign. Obviously, I was not able to get to solve for L symbolically. Has anyone done this type of symbolic solving for a variable before?
I need such community help.I signed a contract with a well-known publisher for the publication of my book in English. The book has already been translated into English, but I would like the native speaker of the English language, or the one who does it well, to check the quality of the translation and make the necessary corrections.Who is ready to help me - communication through personal correspondence. Thanks
I have installed Prime 5 with SolidWorks 2017. When Prime 3.1 was released there was an API that extracted values from SolidWorks to Prime 3.1 and returned new values to SolidWorks. The installation of the API will not work with Prime 5 and SolidWorks 2017. PTC does not support the API, which was written by an outside source. Has anyone else tried installing the API? David Tg
Hi All – I want to announce a critical bug fix release of PTC Mathcad Prime 4.0. We recently discovered an issue where some password protected areas can become corrupted on save/open. This is an issue we feel important enough to fix in a maintenance release. We’ve investigated the issue, submitted and tested a fix and will be releasing PTC Mathcad Prime 4.0 M010 later today. Anyone using Prime 4.0 F000 should upgrade to Prime 4.0 M010 – we’ll be removing Prime 4.0 F000 from download to make sure only the fixed version is available. We do our best to avoid situations like this but sometimes bugs happen and when they do, we assess them to understand the impact on users. If they’re critical issues, such as this one, we do our best to fix them as soon as possible. Many thanks, Andy.

I have downloaded a file 'pim_installmgr_mathcad.exe' and try to run it. It opens up, the PTC Installation Assistant runs up to 100%, Windows pops up to ask me to allow this program to make changes, I say yes - and then nothing. Nothing more happens. It just stops. I have Windows 10 Home 64-bit as my OS. I have tried running it as Administrator - same non-resuslt. Please help
Hi! I'm trying to switch from Mathcad 15 to Mathcad Prime 5.0 but still haven't found any way of writing commas in subscripts without the formula switching to some other format. In Mathcad 15 you could always use the Ctrl+Shift+k to do this but i haven't found any equivalent solution in Prime. Do anyone know of a solution to this problem? I've already searched the web (and forums) but haven't found an adequate solution to this. I found a post where they gave some suggestions and said something should have been added in Prime 3.0 but i haven't been able to find any references as to how this actually work. Since im working with Eurocode and write a lot of formulas with subscripts i can't be bothered with copying content back and forth but rather need a straight forward way of achieving what i want. Kind regards, Johan
