Hi everyone, i am new in this community, and i hope that someone can help me!I would like to find the lowest temperature in the range of 500-600K which maximizes the production of species B.I solved the 3 ODEs in function of my unknown T. Now i would like to create a vector of temperatures (from 500 to 600 K), and for each of these temperatures calculate the production of B.Is it possible to do this (maybe using a program)? However I was watching youtube and I noticed that using excel can be done. Why [cases (3) and (4)] disabling the Pdesolve operator in the first example,  will fault the second example as well? If, instead, [cases (1) and (2)], the first one is active, then all is ok?

Hi everyone again!this time I am struggling in order to find the distribution of peaks in a random signal (actually a vibration).  The theory says that the distribution of peaks (not of the instantaneous amplitudes!) can give interesting informations on the type of signal. And be used for fatigue evaluation. See for example the following excerpt from Harris-Shock and Vibration Handbook.    So if a have a very long file with sampled data (for example 10E3, 10E4 points) with a good enough sampling frequency, I could think to try to determine numerically the following distribution (also from Harris-Shock and Vibration Handbook)Now before I reinvent the wheel I wanted to ask around if someone knows a tool that is already posted in forum and that can make the trick. Mathcad power in solving optimization problems are very well known and I have demonstrated this in my optimization worksheet for a PSO problem.Here, binary GA algorithm is used to solve an optimization problem and the results are confirmed by using Mathcad power in optimization. The results are very very nearly the same.Though the program is lengthy, but can be used to solve other problems by suitable choice of chromosomes. This program tooke a time to do it.

I am using Mathcad 15. I opened a customised template which has MS excel and word created inside the Mathcad itself.When my colleagues open this Mathcad file in their PC, it is completely fine...no overlaps!But when I open in my PC I see all the regions overlapped and some regions are separated by large gaps. It is tedious to manually align whole template(it is very big!).Can anyone guess what might be the issue with my PC? Any setting have to changed?
