Hi all,I have been using  MathCad Prime 3.1 for some weeks: I recently implemented a solve block in which I defined a system of ODEs with guess values and initial conditions: the solution is calculated via "odesolve" function. Since I need to have the time and initial conditions as parameters, I was wondering how to define the solve block as a function, in order to recall it wherever within my worksheet.Does anyone know how to do this?Thanks a lot!Domenico

Dear Expert,Regarding EN_NR1 and NR2 loop statement (left two algorithm), I got a diifferent results from one of Maple software because I guess I might made some fault in the loop but I couldn't find out hence I need your support !!What I want to make in EN_NR1 and 2 is thatinitial value x1,x2,x3,r1,r2,r3  should be updated whenever Xnew evaluate from Jinv with for loop and while loop but It seem it doesn't work... on the right graph from maple software, the black curve doesn't excceed 200 value at y axis but my mathcad say the black curve(EN_NR2) excceed over 1000 value even though the input is same both maple and mathcad.hence Could you support me? I know how to use solve to find an unknown character in an equation, but is it somehow possible to see the equation?I have attached a picture. I would like Mathcad Prime to give me the second equation by typing in the first one.Hope I made clear enough to understand.

Dear All,I was struggling with a strange problem in Mathcad. First, I could not change the unit in the result.Second, all the units in the equation are in same format, still it is showing error.Please guide me how can I change the units to psi. I have attached my mathcad sheet.

Im still working on a routine and im stucking in defining a routine for each row of the vector.I need to define a certain condition and apply it to every row of the vectorsThe rows are depending on the Loadcases, which are read in mathcad.I still dont really understand 😞Thx 😃In this case i need to write the maximum value of the calculated 5 pressures to excel for every loadcase.

Hi,I am just now discovering all that Mathcad can do and I am having trouble with solving a system of equations that includes a conditional statement.  If I manually input the statements into the system of equations (at the end), it solves it correctly, but I would like the equations to change based on the selection of LL case.  Any help would be appreciated!Thanks,Nichole

I'm trying to create a title block for a calculation document, but whenever I create my heading with multiple lines the lower lines don't show up in the print, only the top one. Has anyone encountered this issue before?I've attached a little document showing the issue

Hi I want to use the "on error" function to assign a value after an error occurd, however it seems that the "on error" function is not able to cope with an undefined variable, see example. In this case it is obvious that there is no sollution, however I would like to continou with the value 0 (or whatever) if no solution can be found. Can somebody help me how I can tackle this problem?I have also attached the example.

There is sth I miss abt matrix in Mathcad. I have 3 values of yyyd and I insert and compute the value of bb. Instead of computing individually, I put them in matrix and try to get the final answer in matrix. I try two times as shown in the green box but couldn't make it. Any help will be appreciated.Best,

I am looking for a way to invert the screen colors or to use high screen contrast colors. Under the Format tab, Colors, it is possible to change the background color, which is helpful. However, I have been unable to find a true inverted the screen colors or high contrast screen colors feature. Any advice?

Ladies and Gentlemen,It has been about four years since I have touched MathCAD. I'm having a little trouble figuring out how to solve for two variables in a symbolic equation. Please see the attached file. This is in MathCAD 15. I've looked through my previous MathCAD files but haven't come up with a resolution yet. I didn't think I needed to define every variable, but I tried doing that and I just end up with 0's.

Hello Expert,I have some trouble with Jacob built in function. when I calculate the partial derivative with respect to L1,L2,...L6, the answer should be 2L1,2L2....2L6. but the feedback from Mathcad shows all zeros matrix. as long as I know the answer should be diagonal matrix with 2L1,2L2,...2L6.I am really appreciate if someone can give the advice. How can I change floating point in MathCad Prime 3.1? I am tring to short this 41.666666666666666667 (^ x 3)) (* 1058.3333333333333333 (^ x 2))) (* 8956.25 x)) 25251.75)  but I can't!!!and how can I change the equations shape from fractions shape to linear shape like this for example {(10*x-81)*(5*x-43)*(10*x-87)}/12 ??Message was edited by: ggg hhh
