Mathcad

The help file for WRITEBIN states:WRITEBIN("file", "type", endian, [M]) writes an array of scalars to the binary data file named file. Am I correct in concluding that an array of strings cannot be written to a binary file? How would I write string data to a binary file? How could I read string data from a binary file?

I just update Win 10 to the latest windows update and find that with the display set to 125% the launch of Mathcad 15 has issues.  The toolbars when expanded to be used as tables do not move as expected.  If I want to relocate say the Greek toolbar display to the right of my project the window is skewed to the the desired location.  This started right after the new 'push' from Microsoft for Win 10 Pro.  I tried updating the video dravier for the laptop, which updated, but did not cure the problem (latest driver was dated in August 2015). Any ideas for a solution???

Hello Guys.I'm a Rookie in Mathcad and is only using it to simple calculations. I Need help with a probadly simple multiplication. In the picture I made a simplified visulisation of the problem. Instead of adding all the numbers to get 14 I need the facit to come out as a Matrix like: 1*1=12*2=43*3=9Is that possible ??Thanks

Hello everyone,i start next week a course at my University where i need to use a Mathcad 15 file from 2 years ago.The question is. Can i convert my Mathcad 15 files with the mathcad express version and use it for further calculations?If not, any other suggestions how i can use my Mathcad 15 files?We have licenses at the university computers, but i want to calculate while im at home aswell. Hello everyone!Years ago (about 2000) I wrote a routine, Visual C ++ environment, which, given a real number with the base unit of measure, it returned the same number with the correct multiple or submultiple of the unit. For example: 1542000 Hz input, output 1.542MHz. It exists in mathcad something that does the same thing without having to write the correct  multiple or submultiple? or need most likely to redo a suitable program?Thanks for your attentionBest regardsF. Running Windows 10 and Mathcad 15.0 (M020 [MC15_M020_20121127]).  I have Excel installed.When I use the Insert/Component the selction box shows only Matlab.  How do I add Excel?

Hi all,I want to have variables as follows: T/W=0.8 or W/S=100 etc. However Mathcad  won't let me define a variable like that, because I think it actually divide or sth. Is there a way around this?I don't need to know the W or T, I just want to use T/W or W/S ratio in subsequent calculations.As an example if I want to solve for V=sqrt(2(W/S)/rho*sigma*CL), I would just use the W/S ratio that I would have already defined.

It looks like the On error does; not quite work are it seems that the rank is always zero

I have a academic license of MathCad Prime 2.0, and I had it install on this HP EliteBook 8740w laptop in question.Few days ago I did a clean install of win 8 64-bit on the same laptop, and installed Prime 2.0 again from DVD. However now the program wons start, it just flashes an error window, of which I managed to take a screen capture.Now I tried repairing the istallation without any luck. The setup.exe always offers new installation.I also tried repairing with PrimeWixInstaller_64bit.exe, which tells me it's repairing the installation, but the results are the same - the Prime won't start after this.I tried both 32-bit and 64-bit versions, no luck.I tried another laptop, and it works ok.The error log is attached.Any ideas, how to get my prime working again?

I have a problem with PTC Mathcad Prime 3.0It wont open at all.It comes with the error: "An Unhandled exception occurred on the dispatcher thread. See C:\Programdata\PTC\Mathcad Prime\Logs\Mathcad Prime_Exception_20151021_135622.log for more information. Prime will attempt to save any modified files and close. Please restart the application."I have tried to reinstall it and of cause restarted the application. Nothing works. I've looked on the internet, but couldn't find any solution to the problem. Please help, need the program for Gym.
