Mathcad

Hello, I am attempting to download and install the MathCad Prime 10 - Student Edition. However, I am running into this failed application error. Please see the attached photos. Can someone please provide any insight or support regarding this installation issue. 

I would like to go through the same worksheet several times, changing "index" and the various parameters, and put the calculation results in the same Rez matrix, in the corresponding "index" column. Unfortunately the previously defined columns are set to zero.

I'm currently running PTC Mathcad 9.0,0 on Windows 11 Pro.  After renewing my license, I received an email with two license files. One of the text license files has the word "standard" at the end of the file name. which do I use?   I've opened each in a text editor.   I do see at least one difference.  I see the word "BORROW" in one of the licenses.    Any idea why I would receive two licenses?  What are each for? 

Warm greetings to all,I remember that a few years ago, a post was published asking how to write one or more points overlapping the function to be derived, instead of one or more apexes, but I can't find it, so how can I do it especially for MATHCAD 15? the difficulty lies in placing the dots on the functions, then we proceed with the prefix operators and the like. Thank you very much.

How can I exculde some values to get the function runing without affecting the results? I want to exulde the zeros.It is on page 28 Thanks in advance  

Mathcad Prime 10File Attached. When evaluating a range of inputs for the program shown, the outputs are correct.  I need to assign the  outputs to a variable as a column vector to use in subsequent steps.  When I assign the program outputs to a variable, I get error "This value must be a scalar or a vector".  1. If the output of linterp_2D(A,B,Data,a,0.25) isn't a column vector, what is it?2. How can I create a column vector (or anything else) from the program output so that I can assign it to a variable?  

I have used the .dat license file that I got in the email for 30 days free trial version. Although I call it and configure it, status says in red full functionality-29 days remaining but it doesn't allow me to modify anything in the file

 In the thread on "Roots of polynomial #3 and How to find unique values into a vector/matrice?" there is a Sept. 23. 2024 post from Werner that uses a function implicitplot2D. I gather from the results and descriptions that this function returns the x-y pts within a defined region where the specified real/complex function = 0 (or close?).  I got around to playing with the attached mcd11 file that has the programmed definition fro this function, and I'm interested in the implicitplot2D function details. I started looking at the function program implementation in the mcd11 file, but it's not something I will work out in the next few minutes. Diverting to the easier path for the moment (find out what has already been done), I found a reference to an implicitplot2D function link in Werner's Mar. 5, 2017 post. Im trying to plot, lifetime as a funct. of doping, and abs. coefficient as a function of wavelength. I've looked up some videos and good instructions from this Solved: How to produce a log based range variable or plot ... - PTC Community but I have a problem getting the plot to show while defining the range correctly, ie, units for the start and stop, adding steps. I can pull it up with python but not with Mathcad and I can't find out why. thank you, Thank you, 

Does anyone know how to download Mathcad (.xmcd) files from Windchill using Chrome/Edge so that they can be opened in Mathcad?   In Windchill, when I try to download a .xmcd file in a modern browser (Chrome, Edge) it automatically opens it in the browser in XML with the following error message displayed at the top: "This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below." This has been a nuisance for some time, but ...   If I evaluate a nested array, the matrix navigator seems to have little effect, sometimes nested arrays won't resize, and there doesn't seem to be a way to resize all of the elements at once ... not a happy state of affairs for large arrays.     Mathcad Express 7.0 worksheet attached.   Stuart

Hello everyone,In the attached file i have two programs r and q.program 'r' arranges the bars in one layer of beam cross section and 'q' is for the second layer.Here the number of layers are decided based on 'gqo' values.If they are positive, one layer of the bars are sufficient, i have to repeate the proceedure until it is positive (which means i have to arrange the bars in several layers).How can i automate y1....yn, d1....dn, n1.....nn, so that one program is sufficient to give the results for the bars in several layers. (y1,y2), (d1,d2), (n1,n2) belongs to first layer, (y3,y4).... for second layer, (y5,y6) for third layer and soo on.Attached mathcad 10 file.

Hello, I saw the older posts from 2013 and 2011, I think it is time to rethink and provide business and institution solutions to alternative operating systems. I've been working on moving all our functionality over to Linux as a cost saving and security measure. And MathCAD is being a bit of a thorn. I have not been able to install it through Bottles and SMath is neither on Flathub nor on Arch yet and we have the MathCAD licenses already. I have colleagues at other companies also working on moving things over. A lot is up to software developers to do the last support part. As we already want to use the software. Alvast bedankt. ps the KBA is ridiculous, having to login just to be informed that there is no support. CS328285

I have the step by step hand calculations for this type of problem but I really would like to learn the ptc Mathcad analysis for it and somehow the ODE Mass Spring problem doesn't help me make the connection. Could someone please help get me started with this?

I am using Mathcad Prime Release 10.0 and Datecode10.0.0.0We had a group recently convert their files from MathCAD 15 to Prime and they are experiencing latency and performance issues. It now takes several minutes to perform the calculations.Also, this was reported by one power user - one alarming thing is that sometimes it takes multiple minutes to finish calculating the worksheet, but what I thought was a status indicator turns back to green before it is even done calculating (So I've either misinterpreted what that icon is, or its not working correctly)

HI,Could someone explain to me how to calculate the summation operator? I have attached a picture where you can see my formula. If I understand correctly, my condition formula should work like this: 0.1 + 0.2 + 0.3 + 0.4 + 0.5 = 1.5. However, Mathcad only gives 0.1. What am I doing wrong?

is there a way instead of writing all these qcza ( x ), I write just one variable that represents them all like  qcza;in and still get the same plot something like this
