As a eda admin, would like to check on PTC_D v10.8 vendor daemon compatibility supports RHEL8 or not?with the same version does it supports to ens192 network card or still it will work under eth0.If not please share the latest vendor daemon packages to get it activated

I am in a urgent need to open some 'old' Mathcad 15 files. Who can help me by opening these files and unlock the details? If possible, I would like to have these details converted to Mathcad PRIME.  You would do me a great favor!!

Hi all, I've got an issue with licensing MathCAD 7 Prime. When starting MathCAD 7 Prime, only the express version shows up. After selecting the correct license in the License Utility, the utility software states, that MathCAD 7 Prime was successfully activated. After closing the utility, MathCAD 7 Prime restarts in the express version again while showing the dialog to enter a valid license. Looking into the file C:\ProgramData\PTC\Mathcad Prime\MathcadPrime.exe.V7.Config, the property "LicenseType" is set to "NoLicense". Entering the license using the license manager was tried in two different ways. With directly providing the license file and with a license server. The result stays the same, the utility software states a successful activation. After MathCAD restart, no license is active... Is there any logging for the licensing process of MathCad 7 Prime available? Thanks

Even though I have declared two values for all variables that are iterative Mathcad Prime 8 is still pushing this error "Ranges with units must specify the second value in the range", please advise and thank you!

I am trying to find the min/max value at each index across 2 matricies.The min/max function finds the smallest/largest value across both matricies at every index, which is not what i want.. PNG and mathcadfile attached for clarity. I am using mathcad prime 9.0.0.0. I have tried several syntaxes (shown in the attachment), but to no luck. Does anyone know the syntax for this? Cheers,Sebastian

I wrote a small program to simulate astro dynamics.The program crashes (program terminate and disappear from screen) when I increase the number of iterations and celestial bodies. No error message! Can someone help? I can share my program. Thanks Serge

You have 15 spheres with d=1. Put all spheres in the box which has 2.6 length for each edge.If you add new sphere, you make the new world records. It only fills 44.7% of the box!  

(This is only a puzzle to fun! )  Tokoro. All distances of the points to be Integer Make a circle with its center (0,0) and radius r. Make five points on the circle with all distances of the points to be integer. The puzzle is to find the minimum of r. Next, the same puzzle except the number of points are 10. I have a Prime 7.0 worksheet with two matrices (of immediate interest). They are w [1x3] and P [3x2].I am trying to manipulate and ensure that they have the same number of rows. And trying to do it with a nested loop. BUT the inner loop seems to work once and then returns the matrix. The outer loop never increments to the next step. I'm obviously doing something wrong, but can't see it.If anyone could point me in the right direction, that would be great. I am using Mathcad Release 15.0 and DatecodeunknownTests for Mathcad: KO=> Mathcad v15 does not work, the server is reacheable (log trace) but the license is not present in the license file. It works with Prime versions.

Hello, For a project, I would like to store the result of the following expression : in another value (called prev for this example).  But, I would like to update it manually, even if my parameters change. That way, I would be able to compare 2 curves with different parameters on the same graph in the same sheet. Can someone help me ? Grégory 

When I increase the number of Iteration on page 5, ex. 250 to 2500 the program crashes, instead of giving an error message and stopping. 

Is temperature units computable with pressure within equation in Prime? 

I am wondering if anyone knows a way to make a Bode plot that shows a y-axis on the left for db (amplitude) and a scale on the right for phase.  The Plot function does not support it, but I thought perhaps the "chart" function does since it does allow a second y axis scale on the right.  But as I understand it, this is not quite the case.  In the "chart" function it seems that the scale on the right is only a replica of the one on the left.  This function was very nicely supported in Mathcad 15.  Is there a way to do it in Prime 9?  Much appreciation for any thoughts/help!

Following the solution to the differential equation for the deflection curve of a beam on an elastic foundation, am trying to get the bending moment M and shearing force V based on the 2nd- and 3rd-order derivatives (using MathCad prime 9).I can come up with values based on the derivative expression BUT am unable to assign the results to matrix variables M and V for plotting the results to show variation along the length of the beam.I tried to define matrices with matching size, BUT it won't evaluate the differential equation. I alternatively tried for loop, BUT the same issue persists. The v counter does not increment to allow calculation of the M variable. Should I be using the ODE solvers for this? Am I missing something? Can't seem to figure it out.Thank you for the help.    

Hello, I have been using mathcad for years as a basic user, but do not have much experience using it for matrix operations or programming.  I am trying to create a worksheet that will allow me to feed in data in to several 3x1 matrices and then compare values of the elements of each matrix and then create a new matrix of only the largest values.  However, the resulting output of what I have at the moment is a scaler. How do I instead get a vector result? Please note that I am using Mathcad 15 (and not Mathcad Prime). Thanks!  

Hello everyone I have been trying to study the dynamic response of a vertical cylindric pile partly submerged in the sea and resting on the seabed, using Mathcad Prime 8.0. I have implemented the 1D dynamic beam equation as described at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euler%E2%80%93Bernoulli_beam_theory The pile is free at the top, held laterally in place at height H and simply supported at the base (with a lateral spring). I have defined the following boundary conditions. w and v are deflection and curvature. The units look correct to me. Besides, making the sheet unitless does not solve the problem.Could anyone point me towards the solution or shed more light on what is meant by "inconsistent conditions" ? I have attached the spreadsheet and datafile for some trials.One issue I see with the file is that I(x) and q(x) have discontinuities so Mathcad may have difficulties evaluating I''(x) over the complete interval. Best regards François

Hi,I use the latest Mathcad version on a virtual machine (parallel) on my Mac Book Pro M1. The program runs smoothly so far and works excellently.Unfortunately, when I insert images using various options, despite saving them, when I reopen the document they are only displayed as a "Search images.." button.Does anyone here have an idea?Best regardsFinn
