Hello Dear Friends,I'm trying to do the following:1) I have a transfer function in the z domain and I want to build a function in Mathcad to which if I give the respective transfer function in the z domain at the exit of this function to obtain the values of the coefficients.2) Having at my disposal the coefficients of the transfer function in the z domain, I would like to construct a function in Mathcad that would do the inverse of point 1, namely at the exit of this function to obtain a transfer function in the z domain, ie the function from point 1.For example, the transfer function in the z domain has the degree of the numerator and the degree of the denominator equal to 3, as shown in the figure below (for simplicity). How could this be achieved?Attached is the Mathcad 15 file.Thank you.Best regards.
i dont't know how to solve an equation with constant like 'A' or 'B' for example: x+B=A solve, x it is available in MATHCAD 15, but not in Prime how can i realize this function?
I'm having difficulty solving for a variable in Mathcad prime 3.1Could you please let me know? Thanks
Hi: I would like to filter the repetitive values of the vector [t] to form the vector [q]. The file in mathcad 15 is attached.
Hello Dear Friends,How can it be solved that the phase - frequency graph of the bode diagram in Mathcad looks like the phase - frequency graph of the bode diagram in Matlab? Calculations and graphs were made in Mathcad 15.Attached is the Mathcad 15 file with the details.Thank you.Best regards.
Hi everybody.I started to work for a little engineering company. I think the "MathCAD Express" can help us a lot to calculate beams. My english is not perfect and I dont know what is legal with the express. Can a company legally use it for free?Thank you for your answers.Have a nice day.
I'm working with one of my professors on Mathcad to use curve fits in checking values gathered from another program. Defining unitless (but not really) temperature and pressure, I'm running into an issue where a variable in a loop I'm using is undefined. I'm feeding a pressure variable into a base 10 log function, but with no success as it complains it is undefined. Any help would be appreciated.
Dear all I have no idea to write program for plot 2D&3D in mathcad prime just know + For 2D plot X=3@5,Z=11@4 for all grid +For 3D plot X=3@5,Z=11@4 Y=3@5 for all grid picture attachments thank you
Hi All We've been doing multi-element box-whisker/histogram/error-bar plots for a while in coursework and in the past it's worked well. Recently we are no longer able to replicate the plots. An image of a working plot is here Alas, they now look like this (note the Box of the combined histogram boxplot has collapsed to a single line (or likely one where the width of the box is simply too small to see. This happens on multiple machines and neither I nor my students can being back the old [preferred] way. This was working in September of 2020 (for people joining late it is now February 2021) Ideas? I was looking at the list of groups members have created. I noticed there wasn't one dedicated to Mathcad users. Or even one that teetered on the subject. Would you join a group for Mathcad super-users? It could be regional too, "Mathcad users of the U.K." "Russian Mathcad'ers" etc. What kind of group would you create?-BostonDan
If i have the "cBord" table, how can i generate a vector "qv", using some data colums of every table row? . The file in mathcad 15 is attached. Thanks.
I am new to mathcad prime and unable to evaluate solve block result not sure what is wrong
so i have two vectors. One is a time stamp the second is y axis data. so for each time stamp there is a corresponding data point I need to plot this scatterplot somehow and then find a line of best fit. Then i need to take the integral of it. I have tried to use the regress function and the interp function without luck. All i get are errors. I cant find a good example online. The is just a simple 2d plot. Good old X and Y Can someone help me with an example. I dont understand all the parameters that regress and interp are expecting. When i try to plot it just gives me an error. i cant post my sheet because of IP
Hello. I am unable to find any way to change line spacing in text box/block. Is it possible? How?
I am building a program from separate debugged statements. Now I have to do it like this - enter a variable, the operator <- and expression separately. It would be very nice if this could be done with one copy with automatic replacement of operator := by operator <-.
Hi all, Any word on the release of Prime 7.0? I've been waiting a year to see if it finally functions and presents well enough to be able to use it in anger in our business. I guess time will tell! I only have a basic wish list: Sort out the pixellation of Excel components when printing/pdfing. Ability to add frames to headers, footers and the main document text. This makes a great difference to the presentation quality. Until these are sorted we will have to stick with v15 and live with the slowly increasing quirks/crashes, but at least it has the functions we need to create presentable engineering calculation reports. Anyone else in a similar boat?
Hi,I am having an issue where I can't get a range of values when I use two ranges in one equation: for hlc I am expecting a range similar to Le and v, what am I doing wrong? Thanks!
Hello everyone, Someone knows a smarter way to draw an equilateral triangle? Thank you very much.
Hello, dear Mathcad community! I am working with 18 equations and I need to get the result of 18 unknowns symbolically. I have searched through the PTC community and tutorials, but Mathcad is telling me about the error with undefined parameter in the function. Can you please help to figure that out? And is it possible to solve such many equations symbolically in Prime 3.1?

How to factorize the number by using solve block?
I had one bad mark on my math exam at school. The question was - what is the sine of 45 degrees. I immediately drew a rectangular triangle with single legs in my head and gave the answer - one divided by the root of two: the leg divided by the hypotenuse. But I heard from the teacher that the answer is wrong. The correct answer is the root of two divided by two: this is how it is written in all textbooks! And, actually, why?
Hi everyone, I'm a newcomer to MathCAD and am stuck on a problem. I have a vector V with n number of data and I want reduce it into a new vector V' in which the first row is the average of the values of first 70 rows from the vector V, then the next row in V' is the average of the values of next set of 70 rows in V, and so forth. I've written the problem more clearly bellow: I'm really not sure how to tackle this, so I'd be thankful for any input. Thank you in advance! Tea
Dear all Please help me do summing data depending on Index as attachment. Thank you
Hello, I have a beam with a triangular line load. For this task I wanted to visualize the existing Mb curve using a My curve. I created this with partial functions. So far so good. As a further step in my task, I wanted to use Mathcad 15.0 to determine the location of the greatest bending moment. From a purely mathematical point of view, this corresponds to zeroing the 1st derivative (lateral force). Everything is clear from the logical understanding to the procedure. Unfortunately, from this point on it does not work completely smoothly and without problems. Because I have created a new definition with the derivation and function including the run variable specified for the derivation. Then I wanted to use the symbolic commands "Coefficients" to output the existing values and to have the 2 possible zeros displayed again with the additional "Set to zero" function. Unfortunately, when performing these steps, I always get the error message that there is "more than one independent varia
