What command or operation i have to do in order to find the number of iterations performed for solving an Mathcad equation like f(x):=e^x-x       that has in the final the solution 0.5671?   I need to find the number of iterations in order to evaluate the efficiency of the solving method.   I searched a lot for this aspect and I'm surprised that nobody had this question until now.

Hi I'm newbie in Mathcad, I try to resolve a geometrical problem (vector analisys). I have a paper with mathcad 15 expression which solve my problem. But, I don't achieve to rewrite it in Prime, i don't find character and function Do you have an idea ? See it in Mathcad 15 :  

I need to create a spline for a repeating pattern 0 to 2PI.  The requirements are:   1) needs to be continuous and for the first derivative.   2) needs to start and end at the same point and have a continuous derivative.   3) one segment needs to be perfectly linear.     Any help would be appreciated.     Thanks

Dear all,   I'm using Mathcad 15 M030 for analysing data. I got the "out of memory" error message if I paste the file I have attached in a mathcad table. I know that the topic has been already discussed in this forum but I didn't find any workaround. Is there in the meantime a new solution? Thank-you very much for your support.   Regards

Hello   I'm trying to comptue the stress in ground below a circular loading, at differend depths, at different locations below the load.   The formula which I use, include Bessel's function. Reference to the formula can be found here: http://onlinepubs.trb.org/Onlinepubs/hrr/1963/39/39-004.pdf   The used formula is the equation 3c.   The formula seems to give reasonable answer with most locations and depths, but some depths seem to give strange stress values (peaks in the graphs).   Could someone explain why these errorneous values appear and if there is a way to overcome this problem.   Thank you for your help.

We have a Pi day - a math day - 3.14 today! One suprematic composition: "Cross, Circle, Birds (a duck), Fish (a flying fish) and.. Pi number". Can you create more fine and/or more interesting animations? The origin Mathcad-sheet is in attach!  

I have Mathcad 15 and I wanted to use excell spreadsheet to show up the calculation results over it and also to use excell spreadsheet to read values typed in an excell table. But I have noticed I can generate only maximum rows 65536 and it looks like Mathcad 15 handles the old version of Excell 2003. Is it possible to do anything to use new version of Excell which can handle up to 1048576 rows and16384 columns?   Thank you for any help

Hello PTC Community,    I am attempting to utilize my Moment-Curvature Interaction (M-C) to calculate beam rotations and displacements. Currently, I have a worksheet that writes my M-C data to a text file (not included here); the attached worksheet reads the data file, creates a linear interpolation function describing moment as a function of curvature. Next, I have a simply-supported beam loaded with equal symmetrically placed point loads (0.5P); I have defined the moment diagram as a piecewise linear function of length (x).    My goal is map curvatures across the length of the beam, using moments as the method for "matching" the curvatures to length. The next step(s) of calculating rotations and displacements are straightforward after this.    The attached Mathcad Prime 3.0 file attempts to solve for the corresponding curvature that satisfies M(c)=M(x), where c = curvatures from the interaction diagram, and x = position along the leng

I'm new to Mathcad so hopping this is just a setup problem. I have set up an equation to solve for t with known variables, one of which is exponent n.  Now i need to rearrange the equation to solve for n.  Please see attached. I don't understand why I'm getting No solution found.  I am able to solve this by hand and also using a free on-line math web page i get the same solution.    Help is appreciated.

Hello, I have captured I-phase and Q-phase (quadrature) data of a radio signal with QPSK modulation.  The two data are in two separate text files with an array of data in a list. How do I do FFT using Mathcad please? Thank you
