Hello, Everyone. solve, W, X, Y, Z ? Thanks in advance for your time and help. Regards.
A simplified example probably illustrates my question best:I would like to set multiple variables based on the value of A in my example above. Thanks,Kevin
Can you show me please, when we must use also if not else if. Must not can!
See please MySort (view in My Videos)
Hi All,I am not sure why the value of Sin (Theta) is not coming out correct in Prime 2.0 (see attached). The calculator value is 0.342. Any advice?Regards,LS
Hey guys,i would need a recursivic calculation with a break condition. I made it so far but now i would need an extention to this calculation.I added a mathcad file in which i described my problem. I hope that someone can help me 😃This is only an example but is describing my problem very goodBest thx!
Is it possible to generate a radio button group with the line items input as a vector? This would be similar to a list box with one input but with radio buttons for selection.
I created a very simple (basic arithmetic), but long Mathcad file in Prime 3.1 express while away from my home PC.I have a fully licensed Prime 3.0 that I would like to use this file on. Am I out of luck? Do I need to re-enter this data again in Mathcad Prime 3.0? Is there any way to convert this file?
To all,I have created a contour plot and trying to control the scale and/or the colour scheme.Under the advanced properties I can see the option 'choose colormap'Q1: with the (default) rainbow map, is red the high value or low value (on the z axis)? look high it's the high valueQ2: I believe (from the doc) one can allocate a colour map ( SaveColormap and LoadColormap functions)Can this be used to create one own scale so that[0-0.1] = a colour]0.1-0.2] = another colour...]0.9-1] = reda 10 band colour mapThanksRegards

I've been working on a problem to determine the formulas for two sinusoidal fibers that are tangent to each other, as shown in the attached picture. I've already pursued this problem with the GRG Solver built into Microsoft Excel and determined that there are multiple solutions, but I wanted to transition to Mathcad. After entering the governing parameters and constraints I found that the solver functions if my guess is the same as one of my solutions, but if I change a guess (specifically for A1 or D1 in the file) it will not solve.I don't know if I'm doing something wrong with Mathcad or my constraint equations, or if I'm just experiencing limitations of the solver.I attached my Mathcad file with the most trivial solution entered, as determined by hand. Slightly changing A1 from 1 to 1.1 causes the solver to fail. Can anyone provide any insight on this? Thanks in advance.
I was using Mathcad prime 3.1 to symbolically solve a pretty simple equation and I get imaginary numbers. While I was easily able to just do it by hand, I'm curious as to why it did what it did and how to stop it, if possible. The solutions I've found posted here and elsewhere don't seem to help (i.e. using various assume commands)File attached. Thanks,
Please!
Hey, im encountering an failure here:I want to use for every row another Dp as shown here:Thx ! 😃

Hello everyone,FIrst of all, I am very pleased to be on this forum. The reason I came here is to ask about solving equations with Mathcad.I have an assignment where I have to determine the three cicrular frequencies and periods of a free vibration (EQ. resistant engineering).the way I am trying to do this is using the lateral stiffness and mass matrices, [K] and [M]. In order to find the frequencies mentioned above I used the following equation:det [K - omega^2*M] = 0. My question is, how can I solve this equation using Mathcad? the mass and stiffness matrices are the size of 3x3. I am looking to find the three omega^2 values.this is what I have so far, but I am sure it is not right, because no omega should be negative.Thank you for your time and help,Sincerely,Aron
I have some experience in C language, and I know the structured programming, and in the structured programming there are no the "functions": break and continue as there are in MathCad programming. In Mathcad the programing paradigm is object oriented, declarative or another?
Hi,I am using Mathcad 15. My worksheet consists of calculations as well as graphs. When I try to save the worksheet in .HTML format (Save as Webpage) mathcad gives the following error:"Worksheet not saved"Please see the attched screenshot of the error. Can anyone suggest how to resolve this? Thanks,Ram
I already had mentioned it a while ago but was not able to reproduce it - now I am 😉has anybody already noticed the DebugPropertyWindow, where you can change some sort of things? Most helpful as I now can change the color and opacity of selected parts of an expression, which are normally very hard to spot on some notebooks and LCD screens. As far as I can tell, the changes are permanent and are global, not for the active worksheet only.I stumbled upon the keyboard shortcut while trying (to no avail) to get the OR operator via keyboard on my German keyboard - most shortcuts don't work as expected or do not work at all on foreign keyboards. The keyboard shortcut for OR should be Ctrl-Shift-@ (and now I know that on my keyboard I have to press Ctrl-Shift-2).For the @ character I have to press AltGr-q which did not work, but that way i found, thatShift-AltGr-qorShift-Ctrl-Alt-qbrings up the aforementioned DebugPropertyWindow., at least it works that way on my keyboard. It works th
I have an unstable file in older Mathcad version. Can I request for help to convert it to new one ? When I open the file it crashes Mathcad (please see the screen shot below). I can email the file (I am not allowed to post it publicly).
Hi allIs`it possible to pull-out some coefficient or expression from matrix to show it in more compact (readable) form? Here I want to change representation of matrix only. Thanks in advance
I need help solving for "K" in this equation, symbolically. I'm not sure how to use the solve block for this, any help would/will be appreciated.
