Hello,today i've tried to install Mathcad Prime Releases 3.0 and 3.1 under a new Installation of Microsoft Windows 10 Professional x64. Both of them failed. Does someone know more about possible reasons for that Problem. Or is there already a Workaround for this problem?Kind regards, J. Dessecker

I like use Mathcad 15, and I know it will compatible with the Win8.1 and will be released this year. Does anyone know any information about the Mathcad 15 M040 releasing?

If I use Mathcad 15, I can define a variable such as "a:= .7 in"  if I write this exact same thing in MathCad prime it will result in an error.  I have to write "a:= 7 in" then come back and add the decimal place after it's accepted 7 inches.  What am I doing wrong? This seems absurd and is incredibly frustrating.

A little bit of experimentation shows that this effect occurs with a number of characters that have math representations (eg, / and +).  Is this a known problem?Stuart

I've searched the other threads and most of them contain something about being on "maintenance", I don't really understand what that is or if I have access to it.  I've tried upgrading my account but it was not sucessful.  Basically I will soon lose access to the computer that I installed Prime 3.1 student license on and will have a work computer that I want to install it on.  How do I do that?

I have searched through the forms and tried to correct this error but to no avial. The last 2D plot is not working for some reason and I do not know why. I am using the express version. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm  wondering whether PTC has any intention in providing user-friendly features for updating and saving Mathcad files.There seem to be several file  formats: mcd; xmcd; xmcdz; mcdx; and so on.  And they are not all compatible and interchangeable.In reference to other good speadsheet program, Excel; although they have been upgraded though several versions of file formats, they  still keep its compatibility and interchangeability with the  old legacy version.  For example, you still can save the latest Excel file format of XLSX to the old legacy of XLS.Why can't PTC do the  same for  new versions of Mathcad to help  facilitate Mathcad customers to save the file to any formats: mcd; xmcd; mcdx; or whatever...Please advise...Manit

I would like to create a table where one of the columns was a calculation that involved items in multiple rows of another column. For example on column had gear ratios and another had the split between adjoining gears. It is possible to reference another column and an entry in the top row populates (but doesn't display) the values in the other cells of that column. Is there a way to reference a cell in a different row from within a table?The documentation on tables in Mathcad Prime is next to non-existent. Is it possible to have a table display all values and not just the calculation equation in the top row?

I have run into an error using the solve block function in MathCAD 15.  I have a function that I want to input a range a variable into.  I can use the solve block if I only enter in one value. I get strange results when I try to enter in a range of values for the solve block to solve.  Do you have any recommendations to fix my problem?

How can I input longer than single line expressions?

Hi,I'm trying to solve an equation that holds an integral in it. In that equation there are several constants and I would like to solve this for different values of that constants. I was able to extract the data based on the identifier in row 0. I want to calculate a rate of change based on dates in row 2 for values found in rows 4 to 12. I will also calculate rates of change from the most recent date on all previous dates. I read over the papers on indexes and range variables so I don't think I change the range variable for data set comparisons. I was able to calculate the rate of change by separating out each data set into vectors but this sounds messy. Hopefully your answer with allow me to solve other pending questions for data analysis. Hello,I have inserted a Microsoft Word object into my mathcad sheet for a table of contents and other 'text' items at the top of the document.  However, I have found that if the information goes beyond one page the information isn't displayed.  Could somebody elablore if I might be missing some way to display the entire information or if this is a limitation of MathCAD.
