Unit System file for Quantum Measurements Units (QMU)

Hello All,I am running my program for a few thousand cases. Unfortunately when one case has error, the program stops on that case. How can I address the program to jump over the erroneous cases and continue the calculation? Another question: is it possible to find out about the progression, for example how many cases has been left or required time estimation? Thank you.

Hi all,This should be a simple problem to solve for anyone with experience with Mathcad, I wish I had the patience to figure it out for myself, but I don't.I have an asset list made up of thousands of item numbers and there associated item costs, from this list I have been given a selection of item numbers of which I would like to determine there costs.Could anyone provide me with a programme where I can input the list item numbers and their costs will automatically be found, im sure similar questions have been asked, so possibly you could direct me to link.Much appreciated,James

Hello,How can I randomly select an element of a matrix ?

I recently got a new PC running Windows8.1. I used to run Mcad v11 on an XP machine which worked perfectly. It installs on the Win8.1 machine but doesn't run. In researching this I've found numerous postings in this forum about problems with "Prime" and Mcad v15 (evidently the last of the old Mathcad products) not being compatible with Win8.1 and/or not being able to run the old .mcd documents. I'm at a loss what to make of all this. I have 20 years of Matchcad documents that are currently useless. Does PTC have a recommended migration path from Mcad v11 to one of its current products (that works with Win8.1 and dosen't cost USD1,600?).

mu=0.2, 0.25, ..1tw(mu)>>> this mean is that tw(0.2)=19.54, tw(0.25)=15.86.....and "c" is also including mu.it means c(mu). c(0.2)=689.23, c(0.25)=662.54....I want to express like upper.Is it possible?

Can someone please explainwhich eigen vector mathcad has gave me as there are infinite number of eigenvectors?

Solution seems to be to represent the pic as a plain matrix as opposed to a nested vector. Hello everyone, i hope all are having a great day.I started this discussion because im having a little problem solving a system of 2 ordinary diff eqs.Im not defining a function for t or x because theres not a way to put this in function of w.Also I dont know if i define w with a random numer and t and x with random functions would affect the final result. I just want to solve the differential eqs. I defined r(w) for example for simplicity. The problem im trying to solve is for chemical engineering. I just got Mathcad roughly a few days ago and I need to run a dB and spectral analysis on a .wav file I recorded. I am brand new to this software and don't know where to start. If anyone can help or lead me in the right direction, that'd be awesome.Erik

Hello,I'm using the find function to find 9 variable with 9 equations. Each of the equations equal zero thus mathcad finds zero as an answer. There should be another answer. I know the find fuction will find the closes answer to the guesses but changing the guesses doesn't make much difference. I tried to set that the variable are not equal to zero but that didn't change anything. The system is working, if I set one of the equations equals 1, I get 9 non-zero answers. If anyone has a suggestion to sove the system that would be great.Thanks in advance,Kendall

Hi All,I have a problem with the scriptable drop-down menu object. If I select a value from the list, and then save the model, the set value will be forgotten by Mathcad upon opening again. And the default value (first one) is set again.Can this behavior by any method be changed?Thanks,Zsolt

I am trying to insert a program (the attached HW 2 Corrected) into another program (HW 5 Part A) so that I can pull values from HW 2 and use them in HW 5. How can I do this?

Hello All I am doing a minimization of the torque in mathcad and the solution that i am getting is heavily influenced by the guess values and each time I change the guess value a,b etc even by a small amount,it gives me a different answer. I really am not sure why it is doing that and also how am I going to rectify it.I have enclosed my worksheet . Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hey, I am unable to solve my find block. I've defined my 2 equations, with a total of 2 unknowns, and have initial guesses for both. Hello,I was going to install the Excel add-in to see what advantages I could leverage from excel using mathcad, but there is an issue installing. My question is has anybody else been able to get the add-in to install. I am currently running Office 2010, and am assuming this is the reason for installation failure as I suspect the location of files installed has changed. Hello,I am trying the PTC Mathcad Express 3.0, but just on the beginning I have met with an annoying problem with entering parentheses, for example to write y(x). On the Czech keyboard layout the "(" is located second key right to the letter "P" , the "(" is on the same key, but entered with shift. The problem is, that when I press the "(" key, in case of entering mathematical expression, nothing appears, nor the whole "( )" as written in help . The only way how to enter parenteses is to use Operator/Algebra menu and this is very annoying, because the parenteses are used very often. It is interesting, that in case of entering text in text block the parentheses working without problem, so I suppose there is an error in entering the mathematical expression on the keyboard.Has somebody find a way how to solve this problem/error it withouth changing to different keyboard layout?Regards,Zetka.

Hello,After reviewing the documentation for hypergeometric functions, Mathcad Prime 3.0 does not accept comlex numbers as arguments for this type of functions.I am wondering if anyone has found a workaround this hurdle or is it just simply not possible at all in Mathcad to compute results of hypergeometric functions with complex arguments.Maybe it's time to move on to a more capable software?Thanks in advance for your help.Regards,Josué
