Hello,I am using MathCad 15 for circuit component calculations and am intrested in entering in tolerances. For example, on a flback converter transformer design I am working on, I would like to enter in the minimum and maximum switching current, frequency, ect in order to find a best and worst case value for the components that will be chosen. As of now, I am using 2 equations.One with the max values in the numerators and min values in the denominator in order to find my max case, and vice versa for the minimum case. Hello everyone,I have some trouble with a function dF(x, d1, d2). I would like to aquire this way p value from F distribution for a known sample with identified F value. Number of independent variables: 2Number of dependent variables: 1Sample's size: 20F value: 16.8833I implemented data to formula: dF(16.8833,2,17) and got a result 3.064 *10^-5. But this is not correct for my needs, because the desired value is 9.15*10^-5.When I calculate it in reverse way through formula qF(1-9.15*10^-5,2,17) I got 16.8833. Can you explain me what I am doing wrong?

1. I got error. I made my file by using 'variable range' so I guess this error is due to using 'range'2. I used 'IF' fuction to restrict. But it don't apply I need to solve this problem for my work until this week. So I fully want you to help.

I'm a bit hung up on how to insert a drop down from execl into Prime 3.0. I have tried two different things and haven't gotten either to work. I have attached two excel sheets that are samples of what I am tring to do. Drop Down Test.xls is what i would like to use. I want to be able to select an option from the drop down in cell C1 (list of A1:A3) and have the coresponding value in column B returned. I am also willing to use Test.xls, where I would input a value from column A and the coresponding value in column B is returned. Any help would be nice, step by step help would be best, as I am new to the functions of Prime 3.0.Thanks

I need to draw a sphere with a equation of a cilinder, so I try to z:=-1.5,-1.6..-4.5 instead of Z:=-1.5But funcion CreateMesh gives error becouse Z is a array of numbers instead a number? But if I introduce some data from excel file using output place the program has problem and doesn't want to show any units after using explicit function.How to deal with it and get a value with unit? I am trying to format a new template for my company and came across the following flaw in Mathcad 15 header and footer feature.I want to add a horizontal line below the header and above the footer. So I have created an image from a line created in word and saved in the correct format. I have then inserted as usual into the footer - all works ok. However, when I try to insert the horizontal line in the header the line defaults to the top of the header even if the 'insert image' link is placed below text. Has anyone else had this issue before or know of a workaround?

Hi,I produced a program where there are 10 columns and the resultant matrix displays as a table rather than in the normal matrix format. When reducing the number of columns to 8 or less the normal matrix format is displayed. Is there a fix for this?Sharon

The program loaded easily from the downloaded file. However it has some strange behaviour.1. The slightest mistake with a mouse click causes a program crash.2. Any attempt to move the position of a tool group, in the header or on a worksheet, produces a ghostly companion outline and great difficuty in placement.This is very irritating and not user friendly; M020 never did this.Has anyone else experienced this?
