Mathcad Installation

I was handed a 43 page PDF document and told to read this to get my license installed. The PDF document makes no sense to me - it's all gibberish as far as I'm concerned. My guess is that this document covers every license file case for every product that PTC owns. Just so you know - I don't spend every day of a 365 day year installing licenses for PTC products. I install my license once a year. I'm just not going to remember how it works for my case. It would be easier if I was handed the text license file. That's what other companies do. Why Can't PTC just email me the license file and skip all the convoluted hoopla? So, how I'm I going to get my license file? Please.
Dears I've noticed that most of the licenses from our clients are tied to dongles. Mathcad Prime 7.0 can be installed, but 8.0 cannot. The licensing has been upgraded to 8.0, so is it because the license is tied to the dongle that I can't perform the installation?Or do I need to install additional software like C++ 2005? I have read through the installation documentation, but it does not explicitly mention whether the license can be tied to a dongle, or perhaps I overlooked that information. Please help clarify this for me. Thank you.

I own a legacy Mathcad software program, which I want to install on my current windows 11 workstation. I was p[rompted while attempting to retreive a license of the following; license can not be issued and I must go to the web site and apparently purchase a later version of Mathcad. First of all, just exactly how does this only available option work? Secondly, monies are not budgeted for this purchase. Where exactly does this leave me?

Hello PTC Team,I installed Mathcad prime 9.0 student edition, also made the licensing and now if I start up Mathcad the loading window opens, then it closes and the program doesn’t start up.
I purchased a student version of PTC Mathcad Express Prime 9.0.0.0 and have not received the product code necessary to activate it for the year. I am using the 30 day free trial at the moment. All of the links to "find my product code" send me to Direct River Solutions where they say they can't find the order - but I am using Mathcad and have the receipt.
I have hundreds of MathCad 13 files and I can't start MathCad from one hour to the next. Is it possible that this data is lost forever? That would be a disaster for me. Please help me! Translated by the Community Moderation using Google Translate Ich habe Hunderte von MathCad-13-Dateien und kann MathCad von einer Stunde auf die andere nicht mehr starten.- Soll es möglich sein, dass diese Daten für immer verloren sind? Das wäre für mich eine Katastrophe. Bitte helfen Sie mir!

We have MathCad Subscription and Mathcad prime SDK.Our licensing changed to a floating license but I have no idea how to configure this on FlexNet.the FAQ's are all so confusing if someone could point me to the appropriate one I would be so grateful.

I am using Mathcad Prime Release 5.0 and Datecode5.0.0.0I was using Mathcad Prime to perform a series of calculations. After attempting to edit the amount of decimal places I wanted to display, the application froze and then crashed. Before crashing, the file I was working in had saved, however when I attempt to reopen the saved file, the application prompts me with the message written below in the "Error Messages or Warnings" section. I has saved my original file once I created it, however I had not periodically saved while working. The file that did save, saved as a new file on my computer. I was roughly 5 pages into the file and would like to recover my work if at all possible. I am working on a very time sensitive project that will be greatly impacted if this file cannot be recovered.Thank you in advance, Austin PicasoHere are the errors that I facedThe file type is not supported.Log file is located atC:\ProgramData\PTC\MathcadPrime\Logs\MathcadPrime_Exception_20230728_155458.log
