I am using Mathcad Prime Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.0.0When searching for text or math in a document using the Find box and Find Next button in the status bar, collapsed areas are expanded but do not re-collapse if nothing is found. For documents with many collapsed areas this is difficult to manually re-collapse each one.1) Is there a simple way to collapse all expanded areas in a mathcad document?2) Can the find algorithm be updated to re-collapse any collapsed areas where nothing is found? My current workaround is to lock all collapsed areas, but this is not ideal either.Note: Mathcad Prime 8.0 did not have this issue, since find did not search any collapsed areas.
I am unable to start my MathCad 15. Getting the message "The application failed because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command link sxstrace.exe tool for more detail." I am not a computer expert, and I believe to best fix would be to re-install my MathCad 15 app. What is your advice? How can I re-install my MathCad 15 app.
I bought and installed Mathcad 9 student version, on the day of installation everything worked fine, however today I wanted to open the program and now it opens Mathcad express, I tried to activate the license for the file again, however I get a message that says "(-9) Invalid host."Looking at some forums I tried to solve the problem by following what was indicated, however the problem was not solved. Then, checking the host, the one on my network does not match the one in the license file. How can i fix this? Thanks in advance for your response
HI, I have successfully installed the MathCAD Prime 30-day trial. However, I am unable to open a pre-existing *.mni file (Mathcad Native Interface file).Does Mathcad Express support them? Is there any way to convert them to a file format recognizable by MathCAD Prime? Thanks! Eddy

I am using Mathcad Prime Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.0.0Using the support page https://support.ptc.com/help/mathcad/r9.0/en/#page/PTC_Mathcad_Help/partial_differential_equations_in_solve_blocks.html#wwID0EQ5E6The following solve block should work (// denotes beginning of new line, and | denotes limits of solve block):|// u(0,t)=0// u(x,0)=s(x*pi)+1/2*sin(x*3*pi)// u.t(x,t)=1/4*u.xx(x,t)-1/2*u.xx(x,t)// pdesolve(u,x,[0],t,[0],10,10)// [1] [1]|where the following is intended to represent a 1x2 matrix:// [0]// [1]Instead there is an error message: "this value must be a function"Here are the errors that I faced"this value must be a function" error when attempting to use pdesolve in the above context.
I was handed a 43 page PDF document and told to read this to get my license installed. The PDF document makes no sense to me - it's all gibberish as far as I'm concerned. My guess is that this document covers every license file case for every product that PTC owns. Just so you know - I don't spend every day of a 365 day year installing licenses for PTC products. I install my license once a year. I'm just not going to remember how it works for my case. It would be easier if I was handed the text license file. That's what other companies do. Why Can't PTC just email me the license file and skip all the convoluted hoopla? So, how I'm I going to get my license file? Please.
Dears I've noticed that most of the licenses from our clients are tied to dongles. Mathcad Prime 7.0 can be installed, but 8.0 cannot. The licensing has been upgraded to 8.0, so is it because the license is tied to the dongle that I can't perform the installation?Or do I need to install additional software like C++ 2005? I have read through the installation documentation, but it does not explicitly mention whether the license can be tied to a dongle, or perhaps I overlooked that information. Please help clarify this for me. Thank you.

I have a Mathcad Prime 8.0 key, but i don't know where I can dowload Mathcad Prime 8.0 and not the 9.0 version.
I own a legacy Mathcad software program, which I want to install on my current windows 11 workstation. I was p[rompted while attempting to retreive a license of the following; license can not be issued and I must go to the web site and apparently purchase a later version of Mathcad. First of all, just exactly how does this only available option work? Secondly, monies are not budgeted for this purchase. Where exactly does this leave me?

Hello PTC Team,I installed Mathcad prime 9.0 student edition, also made the licensing and now if I start up Mathcad the loading window opens, then it closes and the program doesn’t start up.
I purchased a student version of PTC Mathcad Express Prime 9.0.0.0 and have not received the product code necessary to activate it for the year. I am using the 30 day free trial at the moment. All of the links to "find my product code" send me to Direct River Solutions where they say they can't find the order - but I am using Mathcad and have the receipt.
I have hundreds of MathCad 13 files and I can't start MathCad from one hour to the next. Is it possible that this data is lost forever? That would be a disaster for me. Please help me! Translated by the Community Moderation using Google Translate Ich habe Hunderte von MathCad-13-Dateien und kann MathCad von einer Stunde auf die andere nicht mehr starten.- Soll es möglich sein, dass diese Daten für immer verloren sind? Das wäre für mich eine Katastrophe. Bitte helfen Sie mir!
