How do I set the password validity period

Hello Guys, I am new to this forum and windchill as well. I am looking for data dictonary, defintion for field attributes and table level information. For instance:- Defintion of Product Code wrt to windchill and which table in windchill contains all mBOM related infromation etc.. We have a tab that shows part instances (serial numbers). When I revise the instance so that it matches the current state of the wtpart (Rev from - to B for example), the part instance tab will show the same serial number and list both revisions. Is there a preference to only show the latest?  

There was a past thread with a similar topic here. I felt my ask was a bit more nuanced so... We have Creo and NX files. They both, unfortunately, end with .prt for the CAD models. In the library, there are a large number of Creo family tables that are of standard things like nuts, bolts, o-rings, etc. I'd like to add in the equivalent models in NX. The idea is that our NX models can consume NX library parts. Creo models can consume NX library files (assuming CS134024 compatibility is observed). So it makes sense that library files in general are in NX since Windchill doesn't do multi-CAD the other way around when Creo is not the driving CAD (i.e. NX cannot open and consume Creo files through it's "native" WGM Windchill interface).  So now, I have a WTPart with a name and number driven by the Creo CAD. Hi All, Consider I have CAD document ABC--> 3.5, ABC--> 2.4 and ABC-->1.1I need to fetch all three versions of CAD document along with representations for every version. I am using /CADDocumens rest API and I am expanding "AllOlderVersion" service . for ex: expand: AllOlderVersion($select=AuthoringApplication,ID,VersionID,Name,Number,State,Version,Category,TypeIcon),Representations($filter=DefaultRepresentation eq true;$select=ID,CreoViewURL). If I do this, I am getting representation only for the latest version. But I need representations for all the versions. How Can i achieve this ?

Hi I created a query builder for Latest BOM with first level child parts. EPMReferenceLink is Object to Master (i.e. Drawing to PRT/ASM) . whenever drawing is getting linked to PRT, windchill will not store revision for PRT in DB.For Business Use case I want to get the version and iteration for PRT from EPMASStored to derive lifecycle state for PRT from DRW revision.

Hi, I am experiencing an error (as attached in the screenshot) when trying view the Document attached to the MPMStandardOperation on Windchill 11.1. Furthermore, this is happening intermittently using a non-admin account only however this error is not appearing when logged into Windchill with an admin account. Following is the snippet from the Method Server logs:Resource bundle/Message key = wt.vc.config.configResource/1(wt.vc.config.configResource/1) wt.vc.config.ConfigException: An element of the wt.fc.QueryResult"results" is invalid: all elements should be "wt.vc.views.ViewManageable"  Would appreciate any suggestion, how to overcome this issue.

I'm working an FTA and the descriptions of the events/gates are larger than the text box that the program generates. It seems there's an intended operation to be able to resize the description box but when I click and drag the corners nothing happens. Is there a permission I'm missing? I've asked others in my organization about it and they don't have a solution. They seem as aggravated as me with the issue. Thanks!

I am creating a report listing task details.One of the columns in this report is for the "Completed Date" of a task.I need help implementing a condition for the "Completed Date" column. The condition is:          If "Work Item.Status" equals "Completed"               then populate the "Completed Date" with "Wf Assignment. Last Modified",          else, leave "Completed Date" null/blank.How can I go about accomplishing this?Should I create two reports? If so, how do I merge the reports to see both completed and uncompleted tasks?Is this something that is done under the "Select or Constrain" tab or under the "Criteria" tab? TIA!

Hi all I have got a WTPart(1.01) link to an EPMDocument(1.01). I perform an attribute update using a custom tool which results in iteration i.e WTPart(1.02) and EPMDoc(1.02). When I try to create a representation from the WTPart(1.02) it picks the EPMDocument(1.01) to create the representation though latest config is specified. I get the following warning in WVS Job Monitor Warning: EPMDocument Config Spec selects a different iteration of the specified top level EPMDocument, specified EPMDocument iteration will be used.I actually want it to take the latest version of EPMDoc(1.02) for creating representation.Can somebody please help me understand this issue or correct me if my approach is wrong?Thanks in advance.

In the past, we hired a couple of contractors to manually enter all the attributes into Partslink.  We have another division that will be migrated into our Windchill.  Is there an XML file that we can use to import the attributes?
