I can't request a Student Version of Creo. I fill in the boxes but after submitting nothing happens and I can't download the software.

I filled out the creo for student format and signed up, only to be told to wait for it to be processed, and no further progress.  

When I click setup.exe it refuses to do anything. My cursor will load for a second, then nothing. I am using the education edition with an education key. I cannot use a different version because of my class. So, this let me download the software, but did not provide me with the student license necessary to use it. How do I get that?

Hello  -I purchased "Creo 10 University Student Edition Premium License" and have received both the license key and license pack via email.  I am having 2 problems: 1. I need to verify my student status, but upon providing documentation to the email provided(ptc.nam@digitalriver.com), an undeliverable response was received.  How do I go about verifying my student status? 2. I used the "Creo Install File Download" provided in the email and extracted the file and ran as administrator.  I was able to verify license identification and received the "Success!" notification.  I have the license source showing "Available", however I have no options available for selection in Application Selection.  Is this due to lack of student verification?  If so, great please help with #1.  If not, what needs corrected for Application Selection? Any help is much appreciated.  

I have downloaded and used the student free license before but I have a new computer and need to download it on this computer. When I filled out the little form to request the license before it would just send me to the page to download but now it says "Please wait while your request is being submitted...". Am I waiting for a physical person to approve me or did I do something wrong? If I am waiting to get approved, how long does it usually take? I was planning on downloading today and then using it today.

I downloaded and use Creo Parametric and Creo Illustrate. I then downloaded the Vuforia Studio install off the same education website. I can create projects just fine in Vuforia Studio. But when I try to publish the project I always get the error:" localhost 3000 says Missing Required Information". I believe the error is because I don't have the Default Experience Service URL set correctly and don't know what it should be. Can you publish with the educational version of Vuforia Studio? And if you can, what setting should I use? Thanks for any assistance.

Hi, I have installed the student version 10.0 of Creo Parametric.It is the first time for me to install this software so I followed instructions provided (https://apps.ptc.com/schools/references/install_creo9_unistudent_standard.pdf) and everything seemed to be ok. When I started the software it couldn't run, and an error -21 occurred.  What should I do?Thank you 

Few months ago, I deleted  Software, now when i installed the software again it prompted that my Student license was expired. I cannot renew the license.Can anyone help??   

When I tried to install Creo 9.0 Student Edition in my Windows 10 Machine, I got Licence error.There is no space in product code but still it shows error.     

Yesterday my license ran out so i tried to renew it and it wouldn't work so I deleted everything related to PTC an creo in the hope I could just reintall it. After I downloaded the zip file for Creo 8.0 and unpacked it I tried to run the setup.exe as Administrator but it wouldn't start. I tested it without Firewall and with Firewall on and with this Command bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off but it wouldn't start. I tried downloading Creo 10.0 and the setup.exe worked. So my question is has anyone an Idea why Creo 8.0 setup.exe doesn't start? I am using Windows 11                

Hi there,I have a problem with Creo 10 educational version. After installing, when I run the program it crashes without any warnings during startup. But if I run the program in elevated mode (Run as administrator) everything works fine?! Now, the problem is that several of us share the same computer as standard users (accounts without administrative privileges). Unfortunately, Creo 10 won't start without administrator privileges. Previous versions of Creo (e.g., Creo 9) did not have any issues with respect to running in standard mode. I have tried installing Creo 10 w/wo the option 'Run as Administrator'. The installation goes well in both cases. But still, I cannot run the program as a standard user. Can someone please help and tell me what am I doing wrong?

I installed Creo 5 (student version) with this product key one year ago: BK500806ED0790-Y3M9-4RW5It recently expired and asked me to renew it by using my account information: So I did but it always says that a customer with this account does not exist, so I reset my password. That also did not work. Additionally, I tried reinstalling the license through the setup.exe file - unsuccesfully. Installing a new licese would not work either, the program then shows this error:How do I renew my student license?

Have tried to open the installed Creo app and it won't even run - it doesn't respond at all. I also got an installation warning message saying my computer won't support some of the simulation software, but I don't think this is the main problem. I am also running this on Parallels because I have a Mac with an M1 chip.    

Software not launching due to licence error, now I'm trying to licence identification again what should I enter in product code right now. Previously I used -BK900908EDSTUDENTEDUNIThis product code.

Why I cant create new Manufacturing NC assembly?   

Hi!   I just downloaded Creo 10.0.1.0 to Windows 11. When I'm going to enter the code my school gave me, it doesn't recognize the code. I don't get an error message or anything like that, it just wont search for it at all. I'm entering the hostname code my school provided.    It also says that you can press "Add Licence Source" but I don't have that button.    Does anyone know how I can fix this?   

Hi Im a student at a University. Our Mathcad license is network(IP?) based, which means i need to be on a VPN given to me by my university. However while being on the VPN and following every step in the installation guide it doesnt seem to work. I've even checked my IP while being on the VPN to make sure there wasn't any problems with it. Ive attached a picture of the VPN and the license status. I hope someone can help me with this. 

I used to be able to drag and drop a model from Windows File Explorer into Creo.  Now with Creo Parametric 9.0, it gives me a circle with a line through it and refuses to open the part model.  I can get models to open via the open command in Creo but that adds extra steps when correcting student work. What changed?      

I used to be able to relicense M110 with the attached pdf instructions. But with M190, there is no reconfigure.exe in the bin folder. Are there similar instructions available to relicense M190? Do I need to request a file from PTC and if so, what email do I use? (schools@ptc.com is dead and the link referenced in the auto reply does not exist "PTC Academic Support Form". )I am teaching CREO to our FIRST robotics team at the end of this week and all our team's laptop licenses have expired. (I need to retain this version as the training materials are written for this version).Thanks, Derek.

Hey everyone,I have a problem, when I try to activate my student license for Creo 7.The setup finds the student license but says the licensing file is invalid. Any ideas? Update:I got the  License to work, but still have a Problem.Now it says: License request failed for feature Invalid feature name: [Feature_Name] I tried solutions from other posts (editing the startup file) but it does not work.

The reason for new installation is because I changed the disc from HDD to SSD. I hope that this is simple issue and I can use your great programme in future for my study.Best regards,Gregor

Hi All,I've just dug out on old creo parametric file (attached in zip file) and opened in Parametric 9. When I look under View->Saved Orientations I don't get the standard lists of Front, Back, Top etc (see screenshot below). Do I need to somehow convert to latest Creo version to recover that, or is there something else I should do? Or do I need to start again?Any tips appreciated.ThanksShaun

Hi Guys, I installed the educational free version of Creo 10 and I am not able to use the software due to the following error pop up that appears when I attempt to open the software. I need a solution to this asap, please help me out.
