Hello, I'm a university student and I installed Creo 6.0 for students, after opening there was an error message saying license file not supported for this version. Creo Closes exits after I close the error message. I opened the license file in txt and it appears to be a Creo 5.0 license. Please help

Good Afternoon,   After successfully installing and using CREO 5 educational edition, i soon realised that the university i attend uses CREO 4, and i was unable to open my work i had done in CREO 5. I tried to install CREO 4 but it did not work, and in the process, it stopped CREO 5 from working also. After multiple attempts at uninstalling, reinstalling, uninstalling again and deleting files, i have came up with these two issues. When trying to install CREO 4, it will not install "CREO4 Platform Services", it just says unsuccessful and nothing else happens. When trying to install CREO 5, everything installs except Direct, Parametric, Layout and Simulate, which all say 'Pending Prerequisite'.   Just looking for any tips on how to resolve this issue, as big as i know it is.   Thanks

Hi, I'm trying to do the fundamentals course but when i click the link to launch ThingWorx it comes up with "You have been successfully logged out".  I click log in and the same thing keeps happening?. I've tried Chrome, Firefox and IE and cleared cache in them all.  It worked this morning but not anymore.

Created a login to PTCU Composer 2 weeks back- for ThingWorks Course  Was able to login till last Friday -  Now this is throwing back message as 'You have been successfully logged out' and not allowing to login after multiple attempts. Username and password are all correct. Same issue faced by multiple people from same Organisation.   Please look into this asap as the course need to be completed by 11 Nov 2019     ThanksVidya

Здравствуйте, я скачал архив с программой, распаковал, но при попытке установки ничего не происходит. У меня Windows 10 Home. При исправлении проблем с совместимостью выходит что данные программы для Windows 7. Где скачать для Windows 10? Или может я что то делаю не так?

Hi Guys.  We have 34 Machine which has installed Creo 3.0 since last year. Now we have a little or big problems that the license has been expired. Where could I get a new license for Creo 3.0 or the worst bit is to uninstalled Creo 3.0 and installed the latest version Creo 6.0?   Any advice from experts. Please help.    Kind Regards Bhav

I downloaded creo 4.0 m080 and it was working fine, until one day I was unable to open the program whatsoever, no error messages pop up either. Any suggestions?

Hello, I have a problem with Creo 4.0. It does not launch after the installation. I have tried everything and saw every topic here about this wont launch problem,but still nothing. my laptop i7 16gb ram with nvidia geforce gtx 950.   Does anyone have any ideas what to do?   P.S. when I install mathcad with creo instalation package, mathcad works fine and does not have any problems.   Thanks

I have a Mac and the only way to take this class was to install windows in a VM , when I RDP to the windows machine I get an error about licensing. How can I use the student version on my VM? Can it be converted to the floating license?

I installed the student version of Creo with no problem at first, however due to a licensing error I decided to uninstall it and retry downloading after uninstalling creo. However upon redownloading creo when I run "setup.exe" I can only get as far as the license page, I am able to successfully put in the student license provided in the pdf but when I click finish the Installer menu seems to crash by simply disappearing.   I'm completely unsure what could be wrong, any help would be welcome.  

So. I've downloaded Mathcad trial version, but when I try to open (Both with and iwthout Admin rights) the downloaded setup file it "Stoppes working" after completing that small window. That's pretty much it. No installer interface is ever opened.   Win 7 x64 Intel Core Quad 2 Q9300 4GB RAM

I want to assign my a unit for my homework, but this stupid system always automatically adding up something.  for example, when I type 1 in, it gives me 12 1/ft in. If it's in SI unit, it will give me  39.97  1/m in.    why is this software add up something redundant? i just want to type whatever the unit i want. what's wrong with this software?

Hello,   Creo 6.0.1.0 Student    I keep getting License request failed for feature error.   Before installing I deleted every PTC file I could find. I ran the setup.exe - added in the key I got in the PDF - then got a email with a Licence file, added that as well - Finished the install - ran Parametric with no issues - Then I get the error. (Have tried reinstalling a few times yesterday)   Here is a few screenshots I have.   Looking at the screenshots it looks like my host ID is changing.   (Not sure if this is relevant, but I have a very unstable 4G hotspot for my internet, meaning at certain times I have to switch from 4G to 3G and toggle air plane mode to refresh the connection. Read somewhere that my MAC address is important but not sure if it changes when I refresh my connection (my IP does).)   Licence screen todayError I got todayAll the times I have triedRandom licence screen yesterdayError I got yesterday    

Hello,   i have another question. Is there a possibility to group single objects to one module? For example i want to move a door in my 3D-model. The .STP Import created many single objects. Now i have to mark five single objects to move the door. I want to group the five marked objects and name them "Door".      I want to group the blue marked objects in the picture. Hello, I am a teacher in a secondary school and we work with PTC Creo Parametric Student Edition in ICT subject. It is been 3 years now that we have been working with 3.0 version.   Unluckily, this year we are having some problems when installing the software in new computers. Students create their academic accounts, download the software (zip file), unzip the file and execute the setup-schools.exe file as an administrator. When the installation begins, it asks students to enter their account name and password, and just after it the computer stops running, it blocks, it gets stuck (I don't know the expression in English). It happens every time we try to install the software and it happens with any version: 3, 4 and 5.    Can you help me? Do you have any clue of what is happening?   Thank you in advance, Iñaki.

Hello,   My students worked during the last year with PTC Creo Parametric Student Edition, versions 3.0 and 4.0. They used the licenses provided in this forum: For Creo 3.0: BE400407EDSTUDENTEDK12 For Creo 4.0: BE410708EDSTUDENTEDK12   However, I am afraid this licenses will expire soon. Is there a way of just updating the license without having to uninstall and install again the program.   Thank you in advance.

I have tried a few times in the free software section to recieve creo. Filled out the form etc. No confirmation anywhere. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi everyone. I have installed ptc creo 3.0 student version .I have followed the steps of installation. It installed successfully but I can't open creo parametric or other ptc apps. After downloading only once I managed to open creo parametric .From then it stopped working. When I click the creo parametric icon nothing happens . I tried the app directly (not shortcut) , but it didn't do a thing. I tried re configuring but it didn't helped me. Please  any one suggest a solution for this problem as I can't do any thing . I tried re configuring but it didn't helped me.  My laptop works on a windows 10 OS , with 16 GB RAM .All of my graphics drivers are working well.
