I downloaded creo last year but now when I open it, it says that the license has expired. I searched through the forums and there were only creo 2.0 license renewals. How do you renew creo 3.0 license?

while testing the performance of PTC integrity via script using CLI calls, we do the following.We are trying to create different versions of the project and gather the time taken to do so. I have a geometry of solid pipe throughout with helical grooves on its surface running across the whole pipe. The pipe has 10 equal grooves. The geometry is helically symmetric. What i want is to extract a sector across the whole length of the pipe which has one groove in it. Because the pipe has 10 grooves, this makes the pipe a combination of 10 sectors each having one groove. As the pipe is helically symmetric, the sector i want to extract should also be helical and if i were to apply a pattern to that sector using axis as reference and using number of patterns to be 10, i should get the exact geometry as original pipe. I have tried to extract the sector and i got something useful but when i apply pattern to it, the geometry is not the exact original one, instead it has gaps along the intersection of individual sectors and pipe is not a smooth circle.Original pipe geometry with groovesHelical sector of pipeAxis pattern applied to helical sector with gaps in the center of geometry.

I have to gauge the ThingWorx performance and the consumption of resources when the  number of sensors changes.  Is there a API  to ask ThingWorx information about its status and occupied resources?

Hello I’m a student of the last year of Computer Engineering. Soon I will graduate but I still haven’t finished my thesis. In the last part of my thesis I have to add many virtual sensors to the ThingWorx platform thank to a sensor simulator ( such as ThingWorxAccademicSimulator). These sensors must be launched in multiple processes. The purpose is to gauge the performance and the consumption of resources when the  number of sensors changes.  I don’t know how to write the code to ask thingworx information about its status.  Could you give me a hand please?   p.s : I'm using ThingWorx Accademic Edition

Hello,    I just installed the student version of Creo Parametric V4. The tutorial explains that we can change the unit system of the software thanks to Creo Standards. However, when I choose the MKS system, a message comes up in Creo Standards : "Access denied. You must change the permission so that you can write in the folder..." .   I don't know how to resolve. Any help would be appreciated 

Hello,    I'm trying to download the Creo Parametric 5.0 student software. When I fill out the form to request this software, it says my phone number is not valid; I've tried my brother's phone number as well and it says his is not valid as well.    Do you have any ideas on what the problem is?       Thanks!   Philip Steiner

I installed M110 onto my computer, and it gave me a warning that i didn"t have the necessary licensing. I had a previous version of Creo which I completely reinstalled and then re-downloaded the new version, which fixed nothing. Help!

Hi all, I have created a CAD file of gussets that I am looking to cut out of sheet aluminium using my torchmate 4800 CNC plasma cutter but I am having difficulty moving my file from creo to the torchmate CAD-CAM software. I have tried exporting as many file types, from DXF to DWG and am unable to get anything to open. I also reached out to Torchmate's support team and they were unable to get the any of the files open in anything.  my gussets are in an assembly but I have also tried exporting single parts with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I cannot seem to attach any of the files without major error messages but would be happy to provide them. Thanks in advance, -Aiden

Hello All,   I downloaded and installed PrecisionLMS from our PTC support portal. Installation is done as per the documentation. But after installation, when tried to browse for completing configuration, I am getting an error. /precisionlms is throwing error when /precisionlmshelp works fine. See screenshot below. Am I missing something?!   Thank you

now we have the learning connector I don’t get access to the model files that I used to with the older system. The education forum seems to have disappeared too.

I installed Creo 5.0 Student edition yesterday and it worked just fine. After computer restart, today it does not work. It cannot verify the licence (error 0x000000b). I try to run the quality agent /diagnostic tool alone and it cant reach ptc.com, even with my firewall completely turned off. Is this a server-side issue?

I just install this only to get this message. This is a common error I don't know why this isn't fix.  

Attempting to run creo parametric 5.0 has lead to multiple failures to launch from the program reporting error code 0x000000b. Any help getting past this?

Hi, The highlights are declared in 'transltr' the first element of 'mfmatr'. When I try to publish my technical publication, i find that the highlight is apprearing after the title page. What can I do to make it appear before the Title page ? Thank you in advance.    

Hello,   I downloaded and installed the most recent version of Creo, following the PDF instructions.  I turned off my internet connection and disabled my firewall and virus guard before my installation.  At the licensing section of the install, I used the student key provided and then logged in using my credentials, the 'Success' message appeared, but the next button was greyed out.  I clicked the 'Skip License' button, assuming that I could register the license at a later stage after I'd installed the software.   However, this is where the problem occured... there doesn't seem to be a licensing manager and every program that I open shows a warning message about a missing license and then won't let me install a license, before it closes the program.   I assume I need to reinstall the software and ensure that I'm connected to the internet for licensing during the install?  I'm reluctant to do this, whilst I've got my firewall and virus guard disabled.&

While attempting to install a student version of Creo/ProEngineer Wildfire 5.0 from online I encountered a problem with the license configuration. I have an valid user account and internet access. I entered my PTC username and password on the License Configuration page of the setup.exe. The instructions then indicate for me to select the "Generate License Files" radio button, however, the username/password fields as well as the selection button is grayed out and doesn't allow me to proceed.Any help would be greatly appreciated.William Duncan

How can we move a license to a server machine when it is a school license. The school has a school license and at the beginning the server machine was not working, so they installed the license on a computer were was used like a server machine. Now, the school has the server machine working and I would like to know, how can we move this license (pc macadress) to another macadress (to server machine).
