Dear Admin,In PTC Creo, the "Mold Cavity" and "Cast Cavity" option are not available in the Manufacturing module. I am using the student version of PTC Creo 11.0. Can you please help with issue.

i've been reinstalling my windows on laptop constantly due to hardware and software bug so what can i do to install the software again on my device ?

   Hey, Ich wollte meine Studenten Lizens aktuallisieren und habe es versucht über die automatische aktualisierung zu machen, was mir die Fehlermeldung: Kunde nicht verifiziert gibt. (sehe Anhang 1).  darauf hin habe ich versucht über die Installationsassistent die Lizenz neu zu laden und beim eingeben meines Benutzer und Passwort, kommt ein Fehler. (sehe anhang 2)

Dear Team,what can I do to get the Licence bug fixed?The old licence expired on 16.04.2025, in the meantime my PC had an update from windows 10 to Windows 11  (64bit each)I tried to follow the licence renewing process, but the system does not verify me as customer.  First question: I hope Win 11 is working in general?second question: What is to be done to solve the licence problem? Thanks in advance! Johannes 

How to solve this problem in Creo Parametric 8.0.4.0

I have problems installing Creo Students. I have already downloaded the required files without any problems, but I can't get it installed. When I click on setup, a loading spinning top appears briefly and then nothing happens. I have also tried to download another Creo version but that doesn't work either. What could be the problem?

When I try to instal Creo 10.0.0.0 parametric with the student licence, i followed the file install_creo10_unistudent_standard.pdf to run it and to setup. I've downloaded every part of creo (parametric, simulate toolkit and so on...) and when it is done, it freezes, i can open it.The licence is in the text's file, and the source for reach it during the setup is according to it.I have shown it to a man who setup it often and he do not know neither.Can you help me pls ?

Dear PTC-Community, I have the problem that when I use the license, which I got from my uni professor I get error message. But I already had the programm before and it worked with out any problems. I had to switch my C driver so I had to reinstall everything and now it doesnt work anymore. Does anybody know how to solve this issue, because I willneed it in a few days so I can finish my project.

Hello, Is there a way to hide or turn off visible edges in section view, when rotating models around?  When turning away from the cut side, the edges of the part(s) are still visible, and this can be very annoying.  Please see example image attached.  I have already tried going through all settings and Config editor, and cant find anything relating to this. Thank You!

    Dear Creo Support Team, My name is Minh, a student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE). While working on a design project using Creo, I encountered a technical issue and would appreciate your assistance. Specifically, I need to create an inclined pipe that passes through a selected plane (highlighted in green in the attached image). I have already created auxiliary planes and sketched the flanges and the initial pipe segment. However, I'm unsure how to correctly construct the inclined pipe so that it intersects the plane as required. I would be grateful if you could provide guidance on the correct steps or which tools (such as Sweep, Extrude along a trajectory, Datum Plane, etc.) I should use in this case. Hi, When I go to the Live Simulation tab in Creo, I'm prompted to check the Floating Licenses in the File>Options menu, because the "license request failed." Is this feature included with the version I'm using? EDIT: After writing the message, I see I got an email titled "PTC License Pack". How do I use the file? When opening it with Creo, I get an error. Thanks,Max

Hi,I'm experiencing an issue while trying to install Creo 7.0.8 on my machine. When I run setup.exe as an administrator, nothing launches — no installer window or error message appears.Interestingly, I was able to install Creo 11 without any issues, but my professor requires us to use Creo 7 for the course.I’ve already reviewed and followed the suggested steps in the following PTC Community threads:CREO 7 Installation on Windows 11PTC Creo 7 setup.exe not runningI’ve also consulted with classmates and others familiar with Creo, but haven’t found a working solution yet. Hello, is the framework feature no longer available in the student version? Last year, I was still able to use this functionality and successfully completed several projects with it. Now, after creating a sketch within an assembly and selecting a profile, I receive an error message indicating that this feature is restricted to the commercial version. Furthermore, I am no longer able to open the projects I previously created using this function, and shortly after attempting to do so, Creo crashes.I would be grateful for any assistance or information regarding this issue.

Hi. I already had Creo Parametric 11 on my PC, but the license that I had expired. So I tried to get a new license to be able to continue using this app. I followed the manual for the Creo installation but get this error when trying to open Creo:License request failed for feature. Requesting CREOPMA_Student6...C:\\ProgramData\PTC\Licensing\BK110908EDSTUDENTEDUNI_license.dat: (-1). Cannot find license file.Requesting PROE_Educ_1...-15: Cannot connect to license server.Run ptcstatus.bat for server status. Can somebody please help? I need to sort this out today. I tried doing all the steps again but now I can't even install my license, it gives me an error. Thanks to anybody that can help

Hi, I'm Alesssandro Luison my Creo 9.0 student license is about to expire in 2 days.When I start up Creo on my desktop, I am offered the possibility to renew my license.When I enter my username and password, I get the message "customer not verified", and there it stops. Can you please advise me what to do? Hi! I'm spending hours to try to change the language of my PTC Creo, but without success. I already chose to add the language german in the Installation window, and what I read everywhere is to add a specific line in a PSF file, however there is no PSF file on my computer ; the Folder bin, which took a lot of efforts to find, has no file (just another Foldder wtih XML files).Can I add a psf file? How? Can somebody help me please to change the language from French to German

Creo 11.0 Ich arbeite seit fast 30 Jahren mit Creo - ehemals Pro/E. Anfangs war das Programm ganz in Ordnung, aber im Laufe der Zeit hat sich das alles immer mehr gegen den Benutzer gewandt. Jede neue Version verschlechterte das Bedienererlebnis. Ich hab aufgehört zu zählen, wie oft dieses PROGRAMM meine Konstruktionen zerschossen hat und ich von vorne beginnen musste. Heute wieder. Und zwar das letzte mal. Ich werde, nachdem ich diesen Post losgeschickt habe, das Programm und alle seine Komponenten vom meinem Rechner löschen und niemals wieder installieren. Ich werde mir etwas anderes suchen, es gibt ja inzwischen mehrere gute Alternativen, wenn man den Foren glaubt. Allen denjenigen, die weiterhin sich diesen Schwachsinn antun wollen, wünsche ich viel Glück auf der Suche nach einem guten Therapeuten. PTC sollte vielleicht Texteditoren oder sowas entwickeln. Viel Glück allen da draussen...
