We have recently been upgraded to Windows 10. User is trying to create a pdf of a dita document (which he has done in the past). Since last week he gets the following error: ERROR: Failed to create input directory C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\e3comp\input5. FATAL ERROR: Operation Terminated. I realized that he did not have the e3comp folder. So initially I re-created the folder e3comp and this seemed to resolved the issue for a few days. He is now getting the same error again (as well as a few other users). Is it possible that something has changed on PE? If so, can someone provide some guidance as to how I can resolve this issue? Why is the e3comp folder deleted and why is it not being re-created?   Thanks

We purchased the kit with a site license. Does anyone know how to procure licenses for multiple computers since it is a site license? I can't seem to get through to PTC licensing and when I do they are under the assumption that this is limited to one computer even though the licensing table states otherwise. Can anyone help?

Good morning, we are wanting to implement a way to shade alternate rows in a table. I found this article https://community.ptc.com/t5/Arbortext/alternate-row-shading/m-p/301668 but when I run the acl it gives me an error message A11369 Statement must be inside function definition: local   Here is the code from the link that I copied and pasted. I am currently downloading Isoview 7.3 to my laptop windows 10 pro, explorer 11 for My Boeing fleet   Installation was successful but somehow, the active x pop up does not come out in explorer.   Usually for PCs, pop up of active x saying 'allow PTC' but this time nothing happens.   Any solution? 

Good Afternoon,   I'm running Arbortext 7.1 M020 with FOSI stylesheets. I need to remove the hotlink from my glossary generated text, however I am unable to locate where the hotlink is set. Good evening, just wondering if anyone is using a path to send the publish jobs to the APE and where I can find out more information about it. I like the idea of publishing to APE without tying up editor. When you go to the APE status screen, at the bottom it has a test APE section. If you click on the pdf test link, it creates a pdf. Just wondering how to read and understand the path. Can I define stylesheets used. When publishing a ditamap, Is there a way to have the profiling predefined for a ditamap? It would help our authors to not have to always select the correct profiles, when publishing. I believe it could also help in eliminating errors.   Thanks   Bryon

Hello, With an ACL function, is it possible to force the adding an attribute (and its value) to an element although the attribute is not declared in the reference schema ?My XML document will be not valid against the XSD Schema, but I would like to do it.   Kind regards David

I have used the object element to add few videos in a DITA file in Arbortext Editor 7.1, and set: data=<link to video>, outputclass=iframe. Want to know how to disable the autoplay, and make the video run only when I select play.

Is there anyone out there familiar with the MIL-STD-38784 (38784STD-BV9) and any information on the OmniMark information the files mention from the AF? Has anyone had success using Arbortext to output a PDF without a FOSI file provided with current DTD information?

Good Morning,   We are using Isodraw 7.3 M version. When we export the illustrations with hotspots  to svg format a reference to this spacenames are included: xlmns:itedo=http://www.itedo.com/svgfilter/1.0 xlms:extra="http://www.itedo.com/svgfilter/1.0/extra" xlmns:_DEFAULT_DTD=http://www.itedo.com/svgfilter/1.0/DTD/_DEFAULT_DTD_   The problem is that those urls don't exist and we are getting schema errors in the svg.   Another question, ¿        

  Hey all, I am stumped. Some users are unable to load graphics in their S1000D data modules, yet when they open IE and look at them, it works. I already did a complete uninstall (removing programdata, appdata, etc) and reinstall, and that fixed it.. for a day. Again, it fails to load in Arbortext.  Any ideas for me to check to see why its not working in Arbortext?   Is there a license or anything I need to look at? I compared a working machine to his, and I did notice a few missing files: c:\Program Files (x86)\PTC\PTC Arbortext IsoView 7.3\IsoViewX73_x64.ocx …\isod-info.pdf IsoEngine73.exe was smaller in size.     Products installed: PTC Arbortext IsoView 7.3.50 PTC Arbortext 7.0 M040 (64-bit) PTC Creo View Express 3.0      

New version of Editor was released.   Just wanted to say thank you to the Arbortext team, for fixing this option in the latest release. We are excited to be able to create pdfs that are small and compact using Adobe distiller and the new postscript files from PE.   Bryon

Hi,   In Arbortext Editor 6.1 when new tag insert in document it will open a window/dialog box for some user input. The same needs to be done using macro, When I record this event the command in the macro code is only for insert tag but there is no window/dialog box events and user inputs, button click event in macro code.How can we handle or record window dialog box event in macro.   Thanks in advance.

Not sure why this is not working.
