I made a password text box but I want to do that if any one copy from that password textbox and paste in another textbox it will not decry-pt the password.then how can I  do this please suggest me.

i created a subscription to an alert (on the same object). the subscription is enabled. i set the value of the property to the value that launch the alert i checked that the alert was issued (from monitor > Alert History) but the subscription code is never executed? how can i debug this issue?

From mashup i have to get time alone as input. Is it possible? I tried by using Date Time PIcker, but through that i can customize and get date.  But i want time alone. Is any other widget there? or any other solutions??

I am seeing this same behavior with the defaultMapicon on the google maps widget.  I have created a new user group and added it to a global group and organization that has visibility and Run Time access to the Google Map Thing.  I did not actually see a resolution even though it states it is solved.

Hi,   I'm using tree widget which will get input in a dynamic way.   I have used State as root element of tree, District, Substation and some other as children of the tree, Based on the user organization level of the user, I'm filtering the data and passing as input to the tree.  such as Bangalore is district I have Koramangala and HSR are 2 substations/divisions. It has other sub elements. I have attached the output. But expected output has to be like the root element and the below tree structure under the root.   Is there any possibilities to display tree structure including root element??   Thanks in advance

Hi, I am using the File upload widget to upload the files into system repository.   How to validate the chosen file name is already available into repository before click on upload button?. Could you please give the steps how to validate?. Currently what is happening is its overriding existing file if file name is same.   Thank you in advance....      Regards, Latha

Hello, I am able to showcase a model in Thingview, when I am selecting model in Thingview it replicate it on Tree and List, but when I am selecting model in Tree or List widget it's not selecting in Thingview. (I am able to select .prt files only) Can someone tell me is there any procedure to do that? How can I select .ASM file in Thingview and Tree? Please find attached image file for reference.

Hi,    The device I need to connect sents out its data via TCP socket request, not websocket request.  My idea is to use PAT to get the data. PAT supports websocket by default,  I can wrap the tcp packet as websocket request ( or any other channel PAT supports ) then sent it to PAT, but the more straightforward way is to create a custom Channel in PAT I think.      But I don't know how to register a custom Channel and how to config it in connector.conf .  Is there a guide for creating custom channel ?    Regards, Sean

I'm using dynamic property of stream template with service name queryStreamData. still its not working..? The input for the service is coming from reading a csv file. As per the data in the csv file the Things are created in Thingworx. I am trying to understand how much memory is being consumed in the process of creating multiple Thing objects form the above service. 

Hi, I am using Thingworx 8.4 and i am facing problem in Collection widget ..In my case Child mashup has a value display which is of same size as that of mashup (Value display Size=Mashup Size) and Mashup Color= purple.  I have created new Mashup in which i have used Collection Widget and in its  property i have given MashupHeight=Child MashupHeight, MashupWidth=Child Mashupwidth .The size of value display in child Mashup (Value display Size=Mashup Size) is not behaving accordingly in Collection widget   The above thing works fine in Thingworx 8.3.4

Hi I just have a quick question. Is it possible to edit tooltip text in advanced grid? My customer requested some kind of hints or tooltips to be visible to their users. I showed him how error message could be displayed with a hint in it as the response from a server but he replied that he would rather see the hint before making the mistake. Any ideas?

Hi experts,   I have email extension installed. I create a thing "MyMailServer2" based on it and it works if test it with script.  However, it doesn't work when I create a entity Notification "EmailNotify" and set  "MyMailServer2" as the handler.  I have no clue about it , could you help ?     ===================Updated on Feb 9============== I didn't figure out the problem above , then I tried to turn to script to send email. So I need to get the recipients defined in the Notification.  I can get the notification content "testNotify" by running the service "GetNotificationContents",  While executing the service "GetUserRecipientsOfEvent" , it tells me no notification conent found(see the Capture5.PNG) .  Any idea about it ?    The Thingworx I installed from : twxFoundationH2Trial-8.3.2-windows-installer.zip Version of email extension: 3.6.0   Regards, Sean Thank you

Hello PTC community,   I am attempting to make a menu that acts as a tab system where one tab (menuEntry) opens a pop-up (mashup) that takes in data that is used to create another tab (specifically the tab title for right now), and all of the other created tabs generate a mashup.   The problem is my first tab is failing to create any pop-up. I am seeing the warning:   "WARN - runtime conversion error converting "test.mashup.popup" from STRING to BOOLEAN, converting to undefined"   each time I attempt to click on the tab. I am wondering if this warning is related to my issue, though I am not sure how to resolve this warning. Any help would be much appreciated. 

Hi,I have created an application but whenever i use the url of the mashup in a web browser. i am prompted to login to thingworx composer. This makes it hard from business point of view as i dont want to share the composer credentials. Is there a way to disable the login prompt. Tried Methods: We have a customized login page in our application built on thingworx.Using an organisation doesn’t grant me the option to edit or customize the login screen.   Queries 1.Is there a way to customize the organisation login page?2.If not is there anything that I can do to remove composer login prompt from appearing when users access my application url.3.In case I use the application key (not recommended method). I can only add one user and not a group and he will have all access over the composer. Which i don’t want.   Please provide your suggestions on the above.   Thanks, Kishore  

Hi,     I want to apply StateDefinition only for 1 Column. So, I applied StateDefinition to a particular Column and it's working fine. But, when ever I'm hover over on the table It's showing the default one. Can anyone suggest how to apply StateDefinition for RowHoverStyle also?

Hi All,   I had create my project in a older Thingworx version, it works fine. I can create the query. when i migrate to a New version 8.4.2 ? I am not able to create a query. the arrow seem different?? Can anyone guide me? Not sure if there is a change in step to create query?  Please do direct me to any tutorial or document which show how to do it.
