Question: Anyone using the Regenerate Assemblies & Parts option for their Creo CAD worker in Windchill?   I have a unique scenario where one of the large assemblies in Windchill publishes all the Simplified Rep states to the PVZ, but when they are activated from the Viewables tab in Creo View, all components are removed from the graphics area instead of showing the Simplified Rep state.   I did some testing with the CAD by using Save As from Creo and the PVZ correctly showed all the Simplified Rep states in Creo View when opened locally. However, I regenerated the model before using Save As because it looked like it needed an update. I tested again w/o using Regenerate and the the result was the same as Windchill.   I am using Creo View 10 as a client and Creo Adapters v8.1 on WC 12.0.2   I checked the recipe files in Windchill and Creo and neither of them had the Regenerate (Assemblies & Models) option enabled.     I have enabled the Regenerate

We have moved to Windchill 12.0.2 CPS8 and are experiencing the following error when we go to check in parts, assemblies and drawings. The error is: wt.util.WTException: java.util.NoSuchElementException It does not happen on all objects, just some. These may be new object or a new iteration of asn existing object being checked in. I saw that there is a SPR written, but was wondering if anyone in the community has an insight or a solution workaround?

We are trying to invoke Winchill secured webservices from middleware BPEL service. Post installing pdmlink 12.2.1 I am attempting to start the method server and I encounter ERROR : wt.manager.CacheMasterNegotiator - Exception initializing DB; retrying... com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: Invalid object name 'RMIStubs'. Anyone seen this? Any insights please? TY 

Objective: I want to see list of drawings that are in 'PRODUCTION' state only. I've changed the Lifecycle State filter to include only 'Production', but after I run the search, I see drawings in different states such as 'In Work' , 'Under Review' and 'Production' etc. Is there anything that I'm missing related to the filter?

TeamWhen checking in a CREO assembly, I am getting:"Action cannot be completed as it cannot build association with Part that you do not have access to. You must gain access to the Part or the Part must be deleted from the database."The assembly and nested assemblies seem to all be accessible, and permissions seem to be good. How do I find which nested Part is causing the issue?I might open up logging to the Info or Debug level,  just for a few minutes, to get some clues.  But it seems that I need to select a logger, and it's not clear what logger to select. I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 10.2 and Datecode with CPS M030-CPS09When create WTDocument on Windchill, it is configured to select lifecycle template in OIR. After revise, the lifecycle template changed automatically. I think PDMLink should keep using the same lifecycle template after revise. How can I do this ?

Is there any way to update the Select Participants role on the fly using windchill api. Currently we need a subset of roles based on whatever types of documents or parts are available but I cant seem to figure out how to do that using the api. Only thing I came up with so far is to remove the roles from table using javascript thought havent figured out yet how I will pass those roles to the front-end for removal.

I was trying to get data from ServiceEffectivity to a String and I tried to convert it to NmCommandBean as shown in the figure. When I tried to compile it I am now getting a error as String cannot be converted into NmCommandBean. How should I solve this problem?

I am now working on a customization where I have to create an export of Parts List data in that particular Information Structure based on the Service Effectivities present in the Service Effectivity Filter. When I am trying to get the Service Effectivity of a Parts List object it is giving me zero value though the service effectivities has been defined in it. Does anyone have experience they can share with using Business Rules for Options and Variants? We have used both. We have some use cases that could benefit from combining these two feature however I am keen to hear of others experience with this.Thanks

Hello Community, My client is looking for a way to continuously synchronise data from PROD to DEV server. For example, if an assembly is modified in PROD, the same updates need to be propagated to DEV system so that any update that they may do in DEV will utilize the latest BOM.
