Hello,I am a Business Administrator/orgadmin (org level access only, no site access) for newly launched Windchill+ (Windchill 12) and I am looking for an off-boarding process best practices. How do you manage the users that left the company, changed their jobs or should not access the system for any other reason?Just remove them from the license group?Add to another (functional) group with no roles assigned, called eg. "Deactivated Accounts" or something?What about their workspaces/objects and checked-out work if any?Does PTC actually recommend anything for cloud solutions? I found the thread Off-boarding procedure - PTC Community but it was couple years back and little replies. Also I was not sure if that is about the SaaS Windchill.

I have a drawing that is fine in Creo but whenever I check it in, it shows curves in Creo View.  I wish this were wysiwyg, but it is not.  I have hidden the layer that these are on.  Anything else to look for?  Windchill 12.2.1.2

Hi everyone,we are uploading documents exported from another pdm (being deleted...) using a mass migration tool developed by an external company. I have to check if all the documents (pdf,doc,...) are really loaded in db.I just found some documents not uploading and I don't know why.do i just need a SELECT * FROM WTPARTMASTER, WTPART, ...?to check if all documents have been imported and try to upload them again. Thanks for any help!

Hello,I'm currently implementing Windchill with Creo and I'm facing some issue with the file name, common name, name and number.For now, I've set up creo file name=number as auto generated, the creo/Windchill name is set manually with descriptive text. Engineers are not so happy as they don't see the descriptive name in the creo windows (expect in the tree) or when they open creo file from their workspace.Is there a way to set creo file name by concatenate the number and the common name? ThanksWindchill 12 / Creo 7.0.2.0

when I open the file .asm refers to an old project (inserted in the windchill system two years ago)there is a conflict Server error: Cannot retrieve family table neutral data.Please could you send me a solution to this problem?

Hello All, Greetings! I am sharing a recent issue where I am unable to create any WTObjects on WC. The create new wizard does not show any attributes for type of object.. And the MS Log displays VersionControlException & wt.fc.InvalidAttributeException. I am attaching related screeshots to help understand this issue. I would appreciate if anyone might have faced similar issue and could help figure out the cause.

We are in need to obsolete a bunch of existing WTDocuments.  I have done creating new WTDocument using Bulk Upload method, but I have not done Obsolete existing WTDocument before.  Has anyone done this before?  If yes, can you share the xml recipe file if you can? Thank you,

Hello, I wrote an API that queries all WTParts that match a search string. The query, however, should only return those WTParts that are in a specific project. Currently I am using the following 2 Search conditions for this (only parts of the actual QuerySpec):  This query works, but as I figured out it only returns WTParts that are IN the project and not just part of it. Most WTParts or WTDocuments are just shared to the project and existed before the project was created.Those parts and documents then have a different container than 'MyProject', so the query won`t be able find and return those. I tried a couple of things, I also searched through the database to find any connections between the shared parts and the project, but I was not able to find anything useful. Is there a way to query for all WTParts that are in the project (so basically what you see when you click the project in Windchill) Best regards
