I am trying to figure out if it is possible to set up a supplier (a person) as a reviewer for a container and not just for a singular document.I have thought of:creating a supplier organization > adding the supplier document into the supplier organization > setting up the supplier as the reviewer for that supplier organization. I am not knowledge able with Windchill and only have started using this PLM software. I would believe that the container could act as a folder for the supplier documents and set the supplier as the reviewer for that folder. Please let me know if I can do something similar or if there is an actual method on doing so. I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 11.1 and Datecode with CPS F000Why is my linux environment not showing Lifecycle templates.Instead it's downloading a file. When I try to click on the "i" for information, it downloads the file instead of opening it.

Hi, Is there a way to import a spreadsheet file to assign and/or update assigned expressions on usage links of parts for certain configurable modules/end items? I know you can export/import part structures in general, which has been quoted here for example. And I think I've read somewhere in the Windchill Help that this can include assigned expressions. However, I think that the basic way can only carry the expressions on items, not usage links. That is, if any at all. Use case - it's much easier and quicker to analyse and tweak configuration logic in spreadsheets, plus people who do this don't use Windchill at all. In case of thousands of items, which also happen to have different rules based on type of a product they're used in, updating logic for each is unbearable.I've automated spreadsheet rule generation process but then whenever changes happen I'd have to know which items were affected (easy to do) and go through the list of thousands of items dozens of

Hello Community, I wanted to know what are the preferred framework that we can opt to develop unit test classes for Windchill code. So far, I used Junit 4.0 to develop test classes but I am encountering many issues when I try to mock Windchill classes like VersionControlHelper, WTState etc. Has anyone in our community developed Junit tests with mocking of all classes instead of using actual Windchill objects' data? Looking forward to your response. Thanks,Hari

Hello, I'm writing about an issue we encountered while trying to register the resource bundle file into the Text Tailoring functionality. The problem is, we are not sure for which resource bundle file we need to be looking for. Is there a way to find it from the GUI for concrete label or action, or we need to search it within the source. For example, if I want to change the table name "Where Used" in Part to "Where Used New" what's the way to check the resource bundle file for this label?I'm using Windchill 12.1,    

Hi, I couldn't find any information in the documentation about this. Is it possible to enable the "View ERP part details" function in the UI without using the Tibco integration tools for Oracle or SAP? We're using a custom integration tool to our ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics) and it would be really useful to have costing and stock information available in Windchill for the engineers. Has anyone managed to get this working for any other system than SAP or Oracle? Thanks in advance!

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.0 and Datecode with CPS 12.0.0.0I need instructions on how to handle components in assembly without a geometry (e.g. paint, oil, tape,...). I found some examples in Internet that Creo handles this through Bulk items, however I was not able to create different quantities between multiple assemblies driving the quantity from CAD. In SOLIDWORKS this is possible to handle using Virtual Components, however even enabling virtual components in Windchill the result is not achievable.

We have an Agriculture equipment OEM with BOM consisting of 4000+ components across multiple levels. We are working with effectivities to capture BOM as per production cut-in dates.
