Hi,I'm trying to debug an Application for the Chromium browser, but the cache is enabled. How can I disable it? The Apache modules mod_header and mod_expires have no effect. Does anyone have an idea?Thanks and best regardsMichael

Hi there, our users required to enable the search for empty attribute fields. The Windchill documentation states that this can be done by setting the property com.ptc.windchill.search.queryBuilder.enableNullCriteria in wt.properties.xconf to true.   I am used to edit settings with the xconfmanager tool. We are looking at a system where a As-Operated structure is set up in Windchill using Part Instances with a barcode attribute. We then want to be able to conduct an audit of the site using a barcode reader and automate update of the As-Operated structure from the barcode reader.   Has anybody setup something similar to this? I'm looking at whether it is possible and, if so, what sort of effort was involved to do it.

I have been trying to reassess our deployment process.  The process defines how we start projects and enhancements and how they move up the chain Dev -> Test -> UAT -> Prod.  Also, how do we investigate when things inevitably go wrong?Recently I have been looking into Git for our source control management for our projects.  Namely everything in wtSafeArea and wtCustom.  This works alright until you try to account for System-Specific settings such as which systems to integrate with, who are my workers, and how many method servers, etc... etc...   So I have created a long-life branch for each integrated system, Dev, Test, UAT, Prod.  This seems to be working for the most part, but might be a bit cumbersome to maintain.   That's when I thought that maybe our integrated systems would be better served as Repos.  Then have a Project repo that represents all of our actual project work.  Essentially using the system repos as backups of our

I'm looking for a super simple way to communicate superseded information to non-CAD users.  We have a (reasonably large) group of users that use Windchill just to pull PDFs and other derivative files (STEP, DXF, etc.), and when they do it is only from a simplified 'Google style' search page.  They are typically not navigating to the details page of an object and I wouldn't dream of asking them try to navigate to other tabs for usage or occurrence information.  I would like to simply add a column to the search results showing what object should be used in place of the superseded object   We don't currently use WTParts and I'm pretty sure I don't want to go down that road just to get the out-of-the-box superseded functionality.  From what I'm reading on the community (here and here), it doesn't sound like this information is very easy to display even if WT Parts are used.  Instead I'm imagining something like a global attribute that could be set on the super

PTC announced Windchill Mobile application for IPad and yesterday it appeared in AppStore.It is very welcoming app for me.But when I tries to connect to my server app tells that this server is not configured to work with mobile app.Does anybody know what additional configuration should I implement on server side? And what ports mobile app use? My server uses default 80 port for web access to windchill.PS This is on Windchill 10.0 M030.

Hi,I have a range of drawings that I have stored on Windchill. How do I genereate PDF files of these drawings? And is there a way of storing them/ exporting them to an external location outside of Windchill?Is this something that is done within Creo or Windchill?Thnaks.

Hi dear Community   My Windchill version is 11.2.Tried to add additional members to CIB during a Change Notice (in a specific product). Under Team there are a lot of predefined Roles (like CA 1, CRB etc.) but there is no CIB and I could not add the CIB role there. The only way I could achieve this is to make a product specific Change Notice Team from Team Templateand change (for the product) the OIR for Change Notice from the default Change Notice Team to my product specific, Change Notice Team. Am I missing something ? This is the right procedure ?   As far as I know CIB decisions are still offline, Change Admin II as chairman conducts the coordination and decides to approve or not the procedure. Is there a way to online inform (through Windchill I mean) the other CIB members ? In order to achieve this must I change the out-of-the box Workflow of Change Notice ?   Thanks in advance

Hi All,   In solidworks I have design with 4-configurations. While CheckIn with auto associate Parts we get only generic CAD associated with WTParts. All Configurations are shown under the family Table. Expectation is to have these configurations should show in EBOM like WTPart Structure. Thanks, Vishvanatha

I was wondering if there is a permission that I can give users so they can see the part numbers in a Windchill Product, but not be able to open them?   We have Government documents that can't be accessible to all employees, so we have them in a separate Product. However this creates a bit of an issue when a person outside of the product searches for a part number, they get no return. So they think possibly it doesn't exist and try to use the part number. Then when they go to Check-In, it obviously says the number is not unique.   So I want it to still show up in searches, but they don't have read or write access to it. In Windows permissions its called LIST, didn't know if that existed in Windchill or not. Thanks

And Customer found that this Monday, Solr Admin Page can't access. Then restart Solr Server will makes Solr Server active again. Customer have 1500,000+ items need to rebuild. Bulk index process is keep running for 10 days, currently, still 300,000 items waiting in BulkIndex Queue   Questions: 1. Customer need to know why Solr Server can not be connected after quite long time bulk indexing process. 2. Is it issue about network or memory insufficient?   Uploaded the logs. Thanks!    

Is there a possibility to add the "Add to Managed Collection" Action to the Product Structure Actions? It seems like there has to be a different Action than the one in the More Actions Model.   Anyone got an Idea about that?    

Is there a Possibility to export an xlsx Table or anything similar from the Managed Collections Table? From every other Table view you can export the data into an excel sheet. Heres the Table Export for the Packages Content Table: This would be a very useful tool if such an export would be possible from the Managed Collections.

Hello,   There is a requirement where I have to introduce RTM Workflow as a sub-process for a Change Activity workflow so that the publishing will happen as part of Change Activity instead of Change Notice. Please let me know the accommodations or changes needed to achieve the above requirement. Hello,   I have a requirement where I need to go to Change Notice workflow from the Change Activity workflow when it is at a certain point. When a particular robot is executed in the change notice workflow, the flow should again go back to the Change Activity workflow.
