Hi,We have a table which is showing the WTPart objects (100 Parts are in the table). The table is showing only 10 objects and we need to scroll down the table to see the full list of objects.But the requirement is it should display all the objects in the table. Hi fellow devs,   do you know how I could customize the advanced search functionality to list the results based on a ConfigSpec, or something similar. Considering I have multiple Released states (Signed, Effective), I want to show the results in this order: Effective or Signed or In Work.  The bold versions should be listed in the resulting table:   0001.A.1 -> Released 0001.B.1-> InWork    0002.A.1->Obsolete 0002.B.1-> Signed 0002.C.1-> InWork   0003.A.1-> InWork   0004.A.1->Effective

I am looking for tool to export ACL from Policy Administrator in excel format.The exported file can be edited and then has to be imported back to Windchill system.The Windchill system should show the changes made in ACL.

Good morning we face a problem today in our compagny,   we are working on big machines (between 4000 and 8000 items) during the day people open different simplified representations, and sometime  at the end, their workspace is filled with 4000 items they don't want to erase items from their workspace to avoid to reload everything from Windchill our comfiguration is one Master Server 1000 km from us and a replica hier on site, with a synchronisation of data every night. We are in Creo P4 M90 + Windchill10.2  M30 cps25   when we close and start again Creo (parametric4) , the "synchronisation" take between 5 to 8 minutes I mean by "synchronisation" the time between the Windchill login and the acces to the workspace in Creo I suppose that this is a "synchronisation" problem because with 100 part in a workspace , Creo open in 15 secondes! my question is  : what Can I do for that? ptc ticket?, check some setting in Config.pro/sup? our network spee

I was trying to create an Audit and when I tried to create an audit summary, I noticed that while filling the "Audit Details" there is some column to be filled, Can anyone please help me with the Audit Summary since:   I am not able to understand on what basis the summary is created? What each column means and what are the factors?  An example would be great to understand. I am attaching screen-shots the "Audit Details" sequences which I have tried and the PDF of Audit Summary. 

Hello,        I have a EPMDocument i.e abc.drw . Their is a calculated association link between epm and wtpart. What is the API to get wtpart from that epm .  

Hi all,   We are looking for a way to adapt specific attributes on released WT-Parts. One example: our assembeld products are getting weighed after assembly. Now this measured weight always differs a bit from the inital calculated one, which we enter before we release the part for production. At the moment there are two possibilites for us. We either ask our Admin to set state back to in Work and we can change it or we have to revise the part. In my understanding both of those possiblities are actually wrong, setting back a released part to in work can be very dangerous, as then production don't have any released reference anymore and revising I see as wrong as  we don't change something on the part but to add the measurments of this specific revision.    Did anyone of you face a similar challenge? We are thankful for any approach.   BR

Hi there,   how can I tell the CAD worker to NOT delete the files in the working directory after the publishing job is done?   I would need to have a look into those files for debugging purposes. We use Windchill 11.0 M030.   Thank you in advance.   Best regards Chris

This customer reported that they see Non-Matching Variant during Configure steps for a configurable part.But they don't know why. Referred article CS133666, I understand that structure and IBAs are checked.However I cannot reproduce to show Non-Matching Variant by changing IBA of child or usagelink.Could anyone tell me simple way to create Non-Matching Variant without changing structure? Hi There,   In FRACAS is a field Serial Number (FRACAS) which can be used to enter serial numbers. E.g. Configuration A has part x,y,z and x,y,z has serial number 1,2,3. During operation it is possible that part y(2) is replaced by y(6). Obviously you can enter a new serial number.    However, how is it possible to track how long party y(2) was used and how long part y6) is used? And how is it reflected in the failure rate calculation since a part got changed.....   (Like historic tracking Config A was running with these parts for so long and then with those parts for so long and the config last year consisted out of bla bla bla and the configuration this year is with serial bla bla bla.   Kind regards, Tobias  

I am very new to Windchill and am acting as the admin for my company. Several people want to be able to sort promotion requests by who it was created by in the My Tasks table. There is no "Created By" column option in the customize view. From my understanding, I should be able to create an attribute in the "Work Item" section of the Type and Attribute Management utility. However, I cannot seem to get this to work. Can somebody provide instructions on getting this attribute to work correctly and show up in the customize options for My Tasks.   Thanks in advance.

How can the Default Envelope.prt be created and or updated and saved, when the assembly is checked in? So the two are always in sync. Your help is most welcome Dan Pasholk

Hey, have a simple one I think.  We create our part numbers in creo (Auto Generated). Faster for designers and engineers to get things done.    Then after the fact, we create the gear parts / WT parts.    Slight problem. The Gear part is creating its own number that is different and independent of the cad part no. How do I get them to auto-generate/associate without manually entering every gear part number?     Cheers RC  

ref: CS22167From Org, Groups UI, one can see all members of each Group. There is no way to output this to a file. Cannot get info using any Windchill report.Has anyone solved this problem (found a way to export Group membership to Excel)? We're required to periodically audit membership and this would be very helpful.
